The death of Tyra Sindane, known as Gogo Manzini, has shocked many.
The celebrity sangoma passed away on Thursday, 5 June, following a short illness.
In a statement confirming this, her family says she will be remembered for her passion for healing others.
'Tyra was a cherished friend, colleague, family member, public figure, and mom, whose presence touched the lives of so many. Tyra will be remembered for her passion for healing others, unwavering kindness, dedication to her community, and the joy she brought to everyone around her.'

At the time of her death, she had a talent agency called KOS talent management, which aimed to curb the exploitation of actors and talent, and groom young talent and equip them with knowledge to run their businesses.
On her social media, her husband broke the news that have since attracted tributes from her community.
The transgender activist and entrepreneur was loud and proud about her sexuality.
Her family has also asked for privacy and respect as they process their loss.
Earlier this year, she jetted to Turkey for reconstructive surgeries including a Brazilian butt lift, a tummy tuck, liposuction, nose job, fox eyes, breast augmentation after starting skin bleaching.
