Now, the standard edition stars have also been confirmed, validating leaks that pointed to Bellingham's continued presence and Musiala's first-time inclusion.
While an official release date has yet to be confirmed, EA FC 26 is widely expected to launch on September 26, 2025, based on the franchise's consistent annual release pattern. The official reveal trailer is scheduled to debut on July 17, which is likely to include a confirmed release date.
As in previous years, players will be able to choose between two editions of the game: the Standard Edition and the Ultimate Edition. The Ultimate Edition offers a week of early access, along with exclusive in-game bonuses.

Not Shoaib Bashir! Nathan Lyon Feels 34-Year-Old Star Is England's Best Spinner
Last Updated: Since making his Test debut for England against India in Vizag last year, Shoaib Bashir has dismissed 68 batters in 19 matches played so far. Shoaib Bashir was England's first-choice spin bowler in the ongoing five-match Test series against India. The 21-year-old spinner, who made his Test debut for Poms against India in Visakhapatnam last year, dismissed a total of 10 Indian batters in the first three matches but was ruled out of the last two matches after suffering a finger injury at Lord's. After Bashir was ruled out, England recalled Liam Dawson to the Test squad after more than eight years and he even got a chance to play at Old Trafford. In his first red-ball match for the English team since 2017, Dawson has however only able to take one wicket. England had an option to recall Jack Leach as well but their selectors choose otherwise. But according to legendary Australian spinner Nathan Lyon, the 34-year-old Leach is England's best bet in the Ashes tour later this year. 'In my eyes, Jack Leach is still their best spinner," Lyon was quoted as saying by Indian Express. 'It is a massive role, and it can be a massive challenge for people who haven't done it in the past in these conditions," Lyon said of spin bowling in Australia. 'But I'm not going to let my secrets out so they come out and perform well out here. Our guys know how to play spin really well in this country. That's probably what helped me produce my skill to where it is at the moment. I know I'll keep trying getting better, and we'll see how their spinners go," he said. 'I obviously played with Jimmy Anderson last year at Lancashire, and they basically said that they're picking Bashir to do what I do. So I took a little bit of pride out of Jimmy respecting a little bit of what I've been able to do in my career. But Bashir has been okay," he said. England are also grooming Jacob Bethell, a batsman who bowls left-arm spin. 'Jacob Bethell is playing this Test match (tonight at The Oval) and he looks like he'll take up the spin bowling from Liam Dawson," he added. view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Sai Kishore Excels For Surrey, Registers Match-Winning Figures Against Durham
Last Updated: Sai Kishore's five-wicket haul has led Surrey to a five-wicket victory over Durham. Star Indian left-arm spinner Sai Kishore picked a five-wicket haul to take Surrey to a five-wicket win against Durham on Thursday at Chester-le-Street, as they look the favourites for their fourth consecutive title in Division One of the County Championship, extending their lead over other teams. Kishore took 5/72 as Rory Burns' team dismissed Durham for 344 in their second innings and Sam Curran made 40 to help Surrey score the paltry 176 runs they required for their fourth win of the season. The three points they earned from the match do nothing to ease Durham's relegation concerns, although their precise fate will not be clear until the result between Sussex and Yorkshire is known on Friday. Clark's 71-run stand with Yusuf had increased Durham's lead to 121 and that went up to 136 at the first interval, when they were 305/6, with the latter unbeaten on 38. After lunch, Durham lost their last four wickets for 33 runs in 10 overs and the magnitude of Surrey's task became clear. After batting for 149 minutes and facing 117 deliveries, Yusuf was caught at the wicket by Ben Foakes off Kishore for 43. The latter then dismissed Bas de Leede for just five runs and Matthew Potts for six to wrap up Durham's innings and bag his first five-wicket haul for Surrey. Earlier, opting to bat first, Durham were bowled out for a paltry 153, with Daniel Worrall picking four wickets. Kishore picked two wickets in that innings as well, dismissing wicketkeeper Ollie Robinson for just two runs and De Leede for a four-ball duck. Surrey scored 322 in their first innings, with Dan Lawrence being the highest scorer with 88. Ben Raine picked five wickets. In the second innings, Emilio Gay missed out on his 10th first-class hundred by a whisker, as he was dismissed by Sam Curran on 99. He was the highest scorer in Durham's 344. view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Please keep discussions respectful and constructive. 2025 F1 Championship Battle A Two-Horse Race Between McLaren Duo, Admits Oscar Piastri
Last Updated: Oscar Piastri leads the F1 championship, with McLaren dominating the season. Piastri and Norris are the main contenders, while Max Verstappen trails by 81 points in third place. Formula One championship leader Oscar Piastri acknowledged on Thursday that the title battle has effectively become an all-McLaren affair between himself and teammate Lando Norris. The Australian leads Norris by 16 points heading into this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix, the final race before the mid-season break in August. Meanwhile, defending world champion Max Verstappen—a four-time title winner with Red Bull—is a distant 81 points adrift in third, a gap that is increasingly viewed as unbridgeable given McLaren's current form. 'I Suppose So": Piastri Concedes It's a Two-Horse Race When asked by reporters in Budapest whether the championship was now a two-way contest between himself and Norris, Piastri replied, 'I suppose so." While both drivers and McLaren team officials had previously resisted making any bold declarations about the title picture, the evidence is now difficult to ignore. 'Every weekend now—or at least the last few weekends—it's been Lando and I," said Piastri. 'I expect our competition to still be strong and put up a good fight, especially at certain tracks through the rest of the year." Despite the growing gap, Piastri warned against ruling out other challengers just yet: 'Whether that comes from Max, or Ferrari, or Mercedes, or someone else, we never really know. I'm not too concerned about that. I'm just trying to win each race and extend the lead." McLaren Dominating the Field McLaren's dominance in the 2024 season has been staggering. The team has already secured six one-two finishes in 13 races, with Piastri claiming six victories and Norris four. Verstappen, in contrast, has won only twice this season. McLaren lead the Constructors' Championship with 516 points, holding a commanding 268-point advantage over second-placed Ferrari. The Hungaroring is expected to further play to McLaren's strengths. 'Hungary has been historically a good track for us as a team—certainly the two years I've been with them," said Piastri. 'I expect us to be strong again this weekend." The 23-year-old Australian claimed his maiden Formula One victory at the circuit last year, while Norris started from pole. view comments First Published: July 31, 2025, 23:31 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
