Enhypen sweeps Oricon charts with 6th EP
'Desire: Unleash' is the group's tenth album to top the weekly chart, the third most in the chart history, the chart publisher said. The mini album achieved the feat after landing atop its Daily and Weekly Album Rankings.
The septet released the EP on June 5; it sold over 1.89 copies on the day of release, hitting a career-high for the group. The album exceeded 2.14 million units in first-week sales and became one of two K-pop albums to sell over 2 million copies in the same period this year.
Meanwhile, the band is running a pop-up store to mark the album's release, in Seoul until Saturday and in Jakarta until Monday, in partnership with Spotify.

Blackpink lands atop Spotify's daily songs chart
Blackpink claimed the top spot on Spotify's Daily Top Songs Global with new single 'Jump,' according to label YG Entertainment. It is the third time the foursome has been seated atop the singles chart, after 'Pink Venom' and 'Shut Down,' and makes it the first K-pop group to have three chart-toppers. 'Pink Venom' was the first track to be released from its second full album, 'Born Pink,' which came out in 2022, fronted by 'Shut Down.' The group dropped 'Jump' as a digital single last week, after unveiling it first at its concert in Korea the previous week, where the group hailed its return as a quartet. It was streamed over 13 million times on Spotify and topped the iTunes Top Songs Chart in 60 regions. Over the weekend, the four members had their first shows in North America for new world tour 'Deadline.' The two nights at SoFi Stadium drew 100,000 people, a record for a female K-pop band.

Stray Kids clinch triple platinum with 3rd EP in Japan
Stray Kids certified for triple platinum status by the Recording Industry Association of Japan with its third EP in Japan, according to the organization Thursday. 'Hollow' surpassed 750,000 shipments last month, barely two weeks the mini album was released. The EP consists of five tracks including the title track and, for the first time for the band, all songs were newly created for the record, instead of adding Japanese-language lyrics to songs already released in Korean. The eight-member act unveiled the main track in advance in May during its concert in Shizuoka. The album sold over 600,000 copies on the day of release and topped the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 21 regions. It also debuted atop Oricon's Weekly and Weekly Combined Album Rankings. Separately, the band is set to go live in Amsterdam on Friday for its ongoing tour 'Dominate.'
