The lovebirds, who celebrated their third wedding anniversary recently, managed to keep their romance under wraps for a long time. Ranbir and Alia tied the knot in April 2022 and became parents to their daughter Raha Kapoor the same year. The couple have been setting parent goals with little Raha ever since she was born. The Bigg Boss 4 participant also revealed that Ranbir Kapoor reached out to him while shooting Animal.In a chat with Hindi Rush, Rahul Bhatt said that he respects Ranbir Kapoor as a father. He also said that the Wake Up Sid actor is good to Alia Bhatt as well. 'Baap acha hai bas...main respect karta hoon...baap bahut accha hai…apni bachi se bahut pyaar karta hai aur mere liye usse acha koi cheez matter nahin karti hai life mein ye baaki naam, shaurat, Animal vanimal aayega jaayega ghoom fir ke baat aati hai (He is a good father. I respect that. He is a great father. He loves his daughter; that's what matters to me. The rest - name, fame, Animal, everything will come and go) he is a good father...he respects my stepsister, rest, everything is all supplementary," Rahul Bhatt said. Rahul Bhatt also revealed that Ranbir Kapoor had reached out to him while he was preparing for Sandeep Vanga Reddy's Animal. Rahul Bhatt said that the actor was 'very sincere and curious about the human condition' during their chat.

Bhatt mentioned that he remembered when Ranbir went to Bombay Scottish School and he was enrolled in Arya Mandir.Regarding his equation with Alia Bhatt, Rahul Bhatt said that they have a positive equation. He called the Jigra actress 'a good mother' and praised her for taking great care of her sister Shaheen Bhatt. Rahul said that Alia Bhatt had found the 'right husband' for herself after her marriage with Ranbir Kapoor.Rahul Bhatt is Mahesh Bhatt's son from his first marriage. The director has two children - Alia and Shaheen Bhatt - from his marriage to Soni Razdan.The actors fell in love on the sets of their first movie together- Brahmastra.
