Lawrence Okolie (21-1-0 with 16 knockouts) is a former WBO cruiserweight champ. The 32-year-old lost that title in May 2023 to Chris Billam-Smith via majority decision. Okolie was a 4-1 favorite to retain his title in that matchup. Okolie had two points deducted during the contest for holding.
In May 2024, Okolie won the WBC bridgerweight belt with a knockout win over Lukasz Rozanski. He vacated that title in October, and moved up to heavyweight to face Hussein Muhamed, winning the vacant WBC silver heavyweight belt with a first-round knockout.
The IBF has Okolie ranked at No. 15. He is the No. 1 fighter in the WBC, and checks in at No. 4 in the WBO rankings.

Kevin Lerena (31-3-0 with 15 Kos) picked up the interim WBC bridgerweight title in November 2023 with a unanimous decision win over Senad Gashi. The 33-year-old followed that with a unanimous decision loss to Justis Huni in a bout to determine the WBO Global heavyweight champ.
Lerena was elevated to WBO bridgerweight champ after Okolie vacated the belt. He defended that title in May, earning a third-round TKO over Serhiy Radchenko.
Lerana said of the fight, "He is a very good boxer, he is a long, rangy guy.He is going to throw a lot of backhands, a lot of long right-hands and he is going to work behind his jab. But I have the knack of taking the jab away and I have got the knack of making them miss and making them pay.
'I am by no means a technical, awkward, boring southpaw,' he added. 'I come to fight but I think I need to be calculated in my approach with Lawrence. I will come to fight but I will come to fight with precision and no mistakes, there is no room for error in there and there is definitely no room for mistakes against Lawrence Okolie.'
Lerena is unranked at heavyweight.
Okolie is a -230 betting favorite over the +168 Lerena.
Daniel Lapin Vs. Lewis Edmondson
Two undefeated light heavyweights face off on the Usyk vs. Dubois undercard when Daniel Lapin faces Lewis Edmondson.
Lapin (11-0 with four knockouts) won the vacant IBF Intercontinental light heavyweight belt in December when he defeated Dylan Colin via unanimous decision in a safe but effective performance on the Usyk vs,. Fury 2 undercard.
Edmondson (11-0 with 3 KOs) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Oluwatosin Kejawa. That victory earned him the Commonwealth light-heavyweight title.
Lapin is a -450 betting favorite over Edmondson, who is the +290 betting underdog.

LONDON, ENGLAND - APRIL 29: Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois face off during a press conference ... More ahead of the Undisputed IBF, IBO, WBC and WBO World Heavyweight Titles' fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois as part of Undisputed: Usyk v Dubois II at Wembley Stadium on April 29, 2025 in London, England. (Photo by)
Usyk (23-0 with 14 knockouts) and Dubois (22-2 with 21 KOs) first faced off in August 2023. Usyk won that matchup via knockout in the ninth round, but there was some controversy with that victory. A body shot from Dubois put Usyk on the deck in the fifth round, but the punch was ruled a low blow. Usyk came back to finish the fight.
Dubois and his team appealed the outcome of the fight, but WBA ruled against them, stating:
'After studying all the documents, the conclusions of all the instances and the internal rules of the WBA, it was determined that the appeal does not proceed and the decision of the fight stands with the victory and defence of the champion Usyk.'
Since that matchup, Usyk has gone 2-0, beating Tyson Fury in both outings, picking up a split decision in May 2024 and a unanimous decision in December 2024. Usyk became the undisputed heavyweight champion with his first win over Fury, but he was forced to give up the IBF title before the rematch.
Dubois is 3-0 since his loss to Usyk with knockout wins over Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgović, and most recently Anthony Joshua. Dubois claimed the vacant IBF title with his June 2024 win over Hrgovic. He defended that title in September 2024, stopping Joshua in the fifth round.
Dubois entered the ring after Usyk's second win over Fury to demand a rematch.
'I want my revenge! I want my revenge, Usyk,' Dubois said, interrupting Usyk's in-ring interview. 'Well done tonight. God bless, but I want my revenge. Let's get it! Let's go!'
Usyk looking for promoter Turki Alalshikh, said, 'Make a fight with Daniel Dubois. Thank you so much.'
'Yeah, no problem. I'm ready. Next fight, no problem,' Usyk added when he got back to his interview. 'Now I'm going back home for a little bit of rest, but I'm ready.'
The Usyk vs. Dubois 2 matchup, which was reported by The Ring, overcame a potential stumbling block earlier this month when the WBO received a petition to allow Usyk to face Dubois rather than mandatory challenger Joseph Parker.
ESPN has Usyk ranked as the No. 1 pound-for-pound boxer, while Dubois is No. 3 in the heavyweight rankings.
We will have more on the Oleksandr Usyk Vs. Daniel Dubois 2 fight card as fight night nears.

Golf in a hangar? DeChambeau's woes at the British Open get 'The Scientist' thinking
PORTRUSH, Northern Ireland (AP) — As a popular YouTuber and golfing enigma, Bryson DeChambeau is known for coming up with some wacky, radical ideas. 'The Scientist' might have another one in the pipeline. 'This is going to be wild,' DeChambeau proffered at the British Open on Tuesday, 'but imagine a scenario where you've got a 400-yard tent, and you can just hit any type of shot with any wind with all the fans. 'That's what I imagine, like in a hangar or something like that. A big stadium. That would be cool to test.' Don't put it past DeChambeau to go through with it. After all, he's open to anything if it means improving his patchy record at golf's oldest major championship. The 31-year-old American has played seven times at the Open Championship, where handling the fickle weather can be the key to success. He missed the cut on three occasions and only finished inside the top 30 once. It's a record that frustrates one of the sport's deeper thinkers. He remembers playing well at the Walker Cup at Royal Lytham St. Anne's — one of the courses on the British Open rotation — back in 2015, and was quick to point out he coped fine in windy conditions in LIV Golf events in Miami and Valderrama this year. Place him in the British Open, though, and he can get blown away — like last year at Royal Troon, when he shot 76-75 to miss the cut and said afterward: 'I can do it when it's warm and not windy.' 'The times I've been over here, for some reason, my golf swing hasn't been where it needs to be,' DeChambeau said Tuesday. 'Right now it feels as good as it's ever been. Hitting it far, hitting it straight as I can, and learning how to putt better on these greens in windy conditions and rain and all that. 'It's just figuring it out. It's just going to take time and something that I never really experienced growing up in California.' Lifting the claret jug — as unlikely as it would be, given his Open woes — would deliver the two-time U.S. Open champion a third major title and no doubt boost the already-swelling audience on his YouTube channel that has risen to more than 2 million subscribers. His popularity is clear over in Northern Ireland, too. Late Monday, dozens of people — mostly kids — were seen waiting outside Portrush to get a photo with, or the autograph of, DeChambeau. He obliged, happily. DeChambeau is using YouTube to have some fun and to show the world a different side to him. He even suggested it's just as important as the results he gets. 'I'm not going to be here forever,' he said. 'What footprint do I want to leave? I think it humbles me and almost makes me more passionate about what I'm doing off the professional golf course. 'Am I going to get frustrated playing bad golf?' he posed. 'Yeah. Am I going to want to still sign autographs? Yeah, because I care about the game.' That's not to say he doesn't still have a burning desire to win at Portrush this week — and secure a result that will impress Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley in the process, ahead of the match against Europe in September. 'I feel pressure every week to play good for not only Keegan, but myself, and the people that I love online and everybody that's watching me,' DeChambeau said. 'I'll walk through the fire,' he added, 'rather than run away from it.' ___ AP golf:

Hannah Waddingham Is "Thrilled" TED LASSO Is Back - Says It Feels Like a "Beloved Dog That Was Buried, and Now We've Exhumed It" — GeekTyrant
Fans of the beloved Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso are pumped that the show, which was thought to have ended after season three, is coming back for a fourth season. And the fans aren't the only ones looking forward to its return. One star, Hannah Waddingham, who played AFC Richmond football club owner Rebecca Welton, says she is 'thrilled' to be back, and she told Variety at the Smurfs movie premiere over the weekend: 'It feels like it was the most beautiful, beloved dog that was buried, and now we've exhumed it, and I am here for it. I was hankering and hankering and hankering and hankering to see where Rebecca had gone, where she was going to. She's my girl. She's in my bloodstream, so I'm thrilled that it's been exhumed.' Waddingham, who won an Emmy for her work on the show, added with a big smile, 'I can't wait to get involved with that and put my penneth in and go shopping for her looks.' Jason Sudeikis, who will return as soccer coach Lasso, said in a statement at the time of the renewal announcement: 'As we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to 'look before we leap, In season four, the folks at AFC Richmond learn to LEAP BEFORE THEY LOOK, discovering that wherever they land, it's exactly where they're meant to be.' Also returning are Brett Goldstein and Brendan Hunt. Goldstein said during an appearance on Variety 's Awards Circuit in June, 'Obviously, I can't tell you a single thing about it, of course, but we're working on it, and it's good. It's exciting to have everyone back together.'
