Bottles and smoke flares thrown in hotel protest
Hundreds of people have gathered at the site of the Bell Hotel in Epping, Essex, after a protest was organised for 18:00 BST.
The disorder followed the arrest and charge of an asylum seeker on suspicion of alleged sexual assaults in the town.
Essex Police announced it would enforce a Section 60AA order until Monday - to require the removal of face coverings - after unrest at the site on Thursday, which saw three arrests.
Demonstrators chanted "send them home" and "save our kids", as projectiles were thrown towards police vans blocking the entrance to the hotel.
A small number of protesters wore balaclavas and face coverings during the protest.
The Section 60AA order comes after police said a protest on Thursday saw people wearing face coverings and "committing serious acts of disorder".
A spokesperson for the force added: "We will deal robustly and quickly with anyone intent on coming into Epping to commit selfish criminal behaviour.
"The right to peaceful protest is protected by law and allows everyone freedom of expression, but this must be done respectfully and if there is a risk to public order we will act appropriately."
The order was in place around Epping including its tube station.

Bus driver arrested after collision with aqueduct
The driver of a double-decker bus which collided with an aqueduct, seriously injuring three people, was arrested, police have said. A 19-year-old woman and two men, one in his 20s and another in his 40s, remain in hospital after the crash, which tore off the top level of the bus, on Monday afternoon, a spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said. The spokesman said one passenger was ejected from the top deck of the vehicle as the roof was torn off. The three people sustained serious injuries but were all said to be in a stable condition. Seventeen other casualties were treated at the scene for injuries, the force said. Police said the bus driver, a man in his 50s, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving and has since been bailed pending further investigations. Emergency services were called at about 3pm on Monday to reports the bus had collided with the Bridgewater Canal Aqueduct on Barton Lane in Eccles. A major incident was declared by North West Ambulance Service and 10 emergency ambulances, advanced paramedics and the Hazard Area Response Team, along with North West Air Ambulance, were dispatched. Police believe the bus had come off its expected route and height restriction warnings, including hanging chains and signage, had not been complied with before the crash. The force's Serious Collision Investigation Unit has appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident or has footage, including from a dashcam, mobile phone or doorbell, to come forward. Family's cat dies after being shot by air rifle
A family's cat has been killed by an air rifle, police have said. Dobby, a four-year-old white cat, was spotted in distress by people living in the Aiskew Grove area of Stockton, on Teesside, on Thursday. His owners found him the next morning at the junction with Kipling Grove. The cat later died from his injuries, Cleveland Police said. Body found in lake identified as missing woman Rachel Booth, police say
A body found in a lake during the search for a missing woman has been formally identified by police as Rachel Booth. Cheshire Constabulary said on Tuesday that the body of Ms Booth, 38, was recovered from a lake in Oakmere. The mother-of-three, from Northwich, Cheshire, was reported missing in the early hours of Saturday. She was last seen by her family in the Barnton area of the market town, with the last sighting of her at around 3.50am, around five miles away at the Sandiway garage on the A556 road. Wild Shore Delamere water park, next to Delamere Lake holiday park, closed over the weekend as police officers, underwater search teams and Cheshire Search and Rescue conducted enquiries. The force said on Monday that there were not believed to be any suspicious circumstances, and added a file would be prepared for the coroner.
