Wild Creations Expands Global Reach with Welsh Government Backing
Wild Creations carve, mould and cast to create large scale props and displays for use in global theme parks and at major events across the world.
The company produced the Ball in the Wall at Cardiff Castle in celebration of the 2015 Rugby World Cup, and a 13ft smoke-flaring dragon at Caerphilly Castle in association with Cadw.
Internationally, Wild Creations' impressive portfolio includes developing a life-sized Tyrannosaurus Rex for the launch the Jurassic World – Fallen Kingdom film in 2018, and a replica Dodge Charger car to promote Fast and Furious 8. Exporting now accounts for around 90 per cent of the business' work.
Supported by the Business Wales service, Wild Creations has created 36 jobs over the past 12 months, and continues to grow and recruit.

Rebecca Evans, the Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Energy and Planning, visited the Cardiff-based business to see some of its current projects.
She also met a range of other businesses which have received support from the Business Wales service to discuss the business support ecosystem in Wales. The event was arranged by Business in Focus, a social enterprise responsible for delivering Entrepreneurship and Start Up and Business Development & Growth support services for Business Wales.

Swansea Mum Launches Growing Events Business with Support from Business Wales
A single mum of three from Swansea has overcome redundancy to start-up and grow an in-demand events and marketing consultancy. Having been made redundant in 2024 from an event management role, Obaidah Sbeitan decided to take full control of her career path and the future of her family by becoming her own boss. After, returning to university to gain a Master's in marketing, she enlisted Business Wales for expert guidance to create Beseen Events and Marketing. Business Adviser Hadi Brooks worked with Obaidah to ensure the consultancy was founded on sound business planning, forecasting, and best practice. This included aligning the business with Business Wales' Green Growth and Equity pledges, which enable pro-active businesses to work sustainably, and ensure inclusive and fair workplaces. Less than a year after launching, Beseen Events and Marketing has already built a strong customer base as Obaidah drives forward ambitious plans to launch major events in Swansea and the surrounding area, including a Mardi Gras-style parade in city centre for Halloween 2026. Those plans could soon see Business Wales further support the company's growth by guiding Obaidah as she explores potential funding options that will allow her to recruit and capitalise on increasing client demand. Obaidah said: 'I've always wanted to be an entrepreneur. It's been my dream, but I put it on hold for a while to focus on being a mum. After going back to university, I realised how much I loved combining events and marketing, that's when I knew I had to make it happen but wasn't quite sure where to begin and that's when I was recommended Business Wales.' Working with Hadi has enabled the marketing entrepreneur to access workshops and training specifically designed to help new business owners navigate challenges managing tax, financing, and cash flow. Obaidah continued: 'Hadi's guidance has been immeasurable to tackling the challenge of a start-up. Hadi was there to listen to every idea I had and helped me narrow that list down to create a plan for the company I'd pictured for years. She was there for every step, and I wouldn't be in the position I am currently without her support.' Tramshed Tech Swansea Expands with New Roles in Historic Palace Theatre
Eight months after opening its doors in Swansea's restored Palace Theatre building Tramshed Tech is creating jobs in the city. The coworking network and innovation hub, which launched its Swansea location in November 2024, is recruiting for three new positions. The refurbished 136-year-old landmark now includes five floors of workspace. The historic theatre stage has been transformed into an event space, while the ground floor Da coffee shop is open to the public. Hannah Blythyn MS for Delyn says 'our towns matter'
MS for Delyn Our towns matter. They're more than just places on a map, they're where we grow up, build our lives and create our futures – that's why I've always believed in backing them. Last week in the Senedd, I asked the First Minister about the Welsh Government's commitment to investing in our towns across North Wales and to go further by putting local people at the heart of decisions that shape their communities. From Rhyl's new Queen's Market to the transformation of Theatr Clwyd, the Welsh Government is investing in our towns. I'm proud to have played a part in establishing the Transforming Towns approach that's seen a significant amount of investment across the country and nearly £5.5m alone in Flintshire and Denbighshire. You can see many of my contributions in the Senedd on my Facebook page at I'm proud to see once again our green spaces across the constituency recognised as part of the record-breaking Green Flag Awards. From Bailey Hill in Mold to Greenfield Valley Heritage Park, these places play such a significant part in our lives – they're vital for our wellbeing, our wildlife and our communities. Whether you're new to caring or have been doing it for years, the new telephone line provides information and advice tailored to the needs of older carers – advisors can help with a range of issues, including access to services, benefits, your rights as a carer and more, so it could be a real help to older carers in our corner of North Wales. I recently had the chance to join the RSPB at Talacre to do a bit of birdwatching – we were looking for the Little Tern, which can sometimes be seen in Talacre and also at Gronant Dunes. Regular readers might remember that I'm the Senedd Species Champion for the Little Tern, which the RSPB has put on the 'amber' list of birds of conservation concern. Sadly, I didn't spot any Little Terns but I did see some Sandwich Terns and Curlew! And, finally, I'm recruiting – I'm currently looking for someone to join my busy team as a Caseworker and Constituency Coordinator. This role is based in the constituency and involves helping local residents with casework, coordinating constituency visits and events and ensuring the day-to-day running of the office is responsive to the needs of the people and communities I represent.
