Once broke and battling arthritis and depression, this 66-year-old Dubai model went on to star with Shah Rukh Khan and Jessica Alba, and his name is…

There was a time when the 60s were regarded as the age bracket best fit for retirement. However, for Puneed Sud, age is just a number, and it simply can't slow him down. At the age of 66, Puneet Sud has transformed himself into a model-actor who is working alongside some of the biggest names of Bollywood and Hollywood - such as Shah Rukh Khan , Jessica Alba , Zach Efron, and Jeremy Irons . From a corporate employee to a glamworld model According to Gulf News, Puneet came to Dubai decades ago with only $ 2 and a dream to make it big in the city. Initially, he sold door-to-door T-shirts and caps, and then in 1991, he joined a news organization. Later, he co-founded a magazine as well. He hates the word retirement, as, according to him, it is for cars that don't run anymore. However, this determination that she showcases together came to him after he fought his toughest battle with a crippling disease. In 2016, he was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, and Puneet told the news portal that he was on the verge of giving up. 'I had suicidal thoughts. It was dark,' he said. However, the same disease became the catalyst for his reinvention. Puneet recalled a three-second ad shoot that changed his perspective towards life. He shared that he played a very small role in an ad shoot, which he landed because the actor who was supposed to play the grandfather didn't show up. After the shoot, he went home and told his wife, 'Forget the coffee, I'm a star!' Working with the stars Puneet's big break came during COVID. He was seen opposite Jessica Alba and Zac Efron in a Dubai Tourism ad. The actress even told him that he reminded her of her grandfather. 'That broke the ice,' said Puneet. Thereafter, he got a chance to play a cameo in a commercial with Shah Rukh Khan. Though most of his scene was edited out, Puneet recalled his experience with SRK and said, 'The man walked in at 9 pm, fashionably late, but when he enters, time does stop.' And the list doesn't end here.... Puneet got a pivotal role opposite Jeremy Irons in a Hollywood film, and this topped all his previous achievements. 'I auditioned late at night, got the role, and the next thing I knew, I was sitting across from an Academy Award winner. Watching him rehearse was like a masterclass in acting,' said Puneet. This journey was not without rejections; however, he refused to take them as stoping signs. And looking ahead, he is optimistic about further redefining the age norms.

Salman Khan's Minor Fans From Delhi Go Missing Trying To Meet Actor, Found By Police In Nashik

Three minor boys from Delhi ran away to meet Salman Khan in Mumbai after chatting online with an scammer who alleged he knew the superstar. In a surprising turn of events, three minor schoolboys aged 9, 11, and 13 vanished from their homes in Delhi, driven by their love for Salman Khan. They believed they had arranged a meeting in Jalna after chatting online with a boy named Wahid, who claimed he knew the superstar. Their mysterious disappearance sparked a lot of concern, a missing-person report and a four-day search before they were safely traced in Nashik. The boys left on July 25 without warning their families. A handwritten note discovered at one of their homes offered the first clue: they planned to meet Wahid in Jalna. CCTV footage then confirmed they travelled via Ajmeri Gate station – pointing authorities to the Sachkhand Express bound for Maharashtra. When police involvement made Wahid nervous, he stopped communicating. The boys cut short their journey to Jalna midway, getting off in Nashik instead. Though direct contact with Wahid fell through, slight phone activity helped the police narrow down their location. Four days after they disappeared, railway police and local authorities in Maharashtra found them safe at a Nashik station. Not long back, during a chat with Kapil Sharma on The Great Indian Kapil Show, Salman Khan opened up on a trespasser at his home, Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai's Bandstand area.'Yes, something like that recently happened. There were security guards outside. A woman told them she wanted to head up to the fourth floor, and she entered. She rang the doorbell, and our servant opened the door. The servant was shocked because the lady said, 'Salman called me over.' Obviously, the servant saw her and was sure I definitely didn't call her. She was a fan, so she was escorted out," Salman said. She managed to slip past guards, but was eventually intercepted. The breach came shortly after another security incident on May 20, when a man from Chhattisgarh was caught trying to enter the building stealthily. Police later confirmed the attempted break-in. Security around Salman's home has been heightened significantly in recent months. In January 2024, major upgrades were made, including installing bulletproof glass on the balcony, high-tech CCTV systems, and razor wire fencing around the building. 'Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahin'; Sonu Sood's old college love letter for THIS Telugu girl resurfaces on the internet

Before becoming the man India admires today, Sonu Sood was just another young boy in love. During his engineering college days in Nagpur, Sonu had written a simple, handwritten love note to a girl who would later become his life partner, Sonali . The note, signed off with the famous line 'Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahin,' recently resurfaced on his Instagram, taking many by surprise. It offered a rare glimpse into a personal chapter of his life that he usually guards with quiet dignity. The Woman Behind the Man As reported by Her zindagi, Sonali, a Telugu girl who was pursuing her MBA when she met Sonu, has been his anchor through thick and thin. From standing by him when he moved to Mumbai and shared a cramped 1BHK with three other strugglers to believing in him even when his dreams seemed distant, she's been there. In his own words, 'Initially, she was not happy when I wanted to be an actor, but today, she's proud of me.' Married in 1996, much before the camera lights found him, Sonali stayed out of the spotlight and let her husband chase the one in front of it. And that quiet support, Sonu says, made all the difference. Love That Outlasted Stardom Today, when Sonu Sood is celebrated not just as an actor but as a humanitarian who rose to the occasion during the migrant crisis of COVID-19, it's easy to forget the years of grit, rejection, and sacrifice behind his smile. But Sonu hasn't. In every interview, every offhand remark about family, and especially in that one note he posted with the words '#memories,' it's clear: fame may have arrived late, but love was always on time. Professionally, Sonu Sood was last seen in the action thriller 'Fateh'. Sonu Sood Rescues Snake With Bare Hands, Urges Fans Not to Try It
