Netflix's ‘Avatar: the Last Airbender' Casts Seven Including Dichen Lachman, Dolly de Leon and Tantoo Cardinal
Newly joining Season 2 are Dichen Lachman ('Severance') as Yangchen, Dolly de Leon ('Triangle of Sadness') as Lo and Li, Terry Chen ('Lucky Star') as Jeong Jeong, Lily Gao ('Blue Sun Palace') as Ursa and Madison Hu ('The Brothers Sun') as Fei.

In Season 3, Tantoo Cardinal ('Killers of the Flower Moon') will play Hama and Jon Jon Briones ('Hadestown') will play Piandao.
They join previously announced Season 2 stars Miya Cech, Chin Han, Hoa Xuande, Justin Chien, Amanda Zhou, Crystal Yu, Kelemete Misipeka, Lourdes Faberes and Rekha Sharma, as well as series leads Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley and Dallas Liu and returning cast members Elizabeth Yu, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Daniel Dae Kim, Momona Tamada and Thalia Tran.
News of the new cast members comes as 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' wraps production on Season 2 and soon begins on Season 3. The series premiered in February 2024, and was renewed for a final two seasons that May, matching the three-season arc of the original Nickelodeon series, which ran from 2005 to 2008. Executive producers include Christine Boylan, Jabbar Raisani, Dan Lin, Ryan Halprin, Brendan Ferguson and Albert Kim.
Though Netflix's 'Last Airbender' series is produced in partnership with Nickelodeon, it does not involve original series creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, who were originally on board before departing over creative differences and launching Avatar Studios. The new studio's first project is an animated film called 'The Legend Of Aang: The Last Airbender' which will debut in theaters in October 2026. An animated series called 'Avatar: Seven Havens' is currently in production, with two more animated films also in the works.

Landon died in 1991 at age 54 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. "You had people that had been working together for umpteen years, because there was no reason to leave that particular crew, because everyone just worked so well together and took care of each other,' she told the publication. 'And it was a special cast. was at our house all the time. Our families traveled together. We just, we were all very, very close. It was, it was a very special, special place to be.' Recently, Landon's other son, Christopher Landon, sent a blunt message of his own regarding the Little House reboot. Gilbert—who portrayed Laura Ingalls Wilder—also weighed in on the series after a new actress was tapped for the iconic character. My Life With the Walter Boys Season 2 will premiere on Netflix Thursday, August 28. Starring trio Nikki Rodriguez, Noah LaLonde and Ashby Gentry took the stage at the Calgary Stampede in Calgary, Canada — where the series is filmed — to make the announcement. Netflix has released new photos from the second season of 'My Life With the Walter Boys,' which premieres this summer. Along with the first look images, the streamer also put out a new synopsis for Season 2, which reads: 'After leaving Silver Falls following Alex's (Ashby Gentry) love confession and her kiss with Cole (Noah LaLonde), Jackie Howard spent the summer in New York City.
