Hari Hara Veera Mallu box office collection Day 4: Pawan Kalyan's film surpasses Thandel's domestic total despite poor reviews, nears Nani's HIT with Rs 75.65 cr
Hari Hara Veera Mallu box office collection Day 4: Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan returned to the big screen after a gap of two years with Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1. The highly anticipated film opened at the box office with good numbers. However, since its first day, the film has witnessed a fall in its collections. According to Sacnilk, it raked in Rs 11 crore on Sunday, bringing its total domestic collection to Rs 75.65 crore. Hari Hara Veera Mallu began its box office journey by earning Rs 34.75 crore on its opening day. Pawan Kalyan's Telugu fanbase remained the biggest draw for the film, as it earned the majority of its opening day revenue from Telugu-speaking states — Rs 34.65 crore to be exact. The film collected negligible amounts from other language versions. From its Hindi and Kannada versions, it earned just Rs 1 lakh each, while the Tamil and Malayalam versions earned Rs 3 lakh and Rs 5 lakh, respectively, on day one. The film witnessed a 76 percent drop in its collections on Friday, earning Rs 8 crore. This was followed by a slight uptick over the weekend — Rs 9.15 crore on Saturday and Rs 11 crore on Sunday. On Sunday, the Pawan Kalyan-starrer recorded an overall 36.14% occupancy in the Telugu market, with maximum footfall during afternoon and evening shows. Hari Hara Veera Mallu has surpassed the performance of Pawan Kalyan's last film Bro, which had earned Rs 67.85 crore within four days of release—less than Hari Hara Veera Mallu's current domestic total of Rs 75.65 crore. Despite the steep decline in daily collections, Hari Hara Veera Mallu has managed to climb to the 7th spot among the highest-grossing Telugu films. It has overtaken the total domestic collection of Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya's Thandel, which stood at Rs 65.49 crore. The film is now just Rs 5 crore short of surpassing the total domestic collection of Nani's HIT: The Third Case, which earned Rs 80.75 crore. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and A M Jyothi Krishna, Hari Hara Veera Mallu features a screenplay by Jagarlamudi and Sai Madhav Burra. The film stars Pawan Kalyan in the titular role, alongside Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Sathyaraj in key roles.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu Day 4 Box Office: Pawan Kalyan Film Eyes Rs 80 Crore-Mark
Last Updated: Pawan Kalyan's comeback film, Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part 1, has earned Rs 73.55 crore at the box office. Directed by Jyothi Krishna, it depicts a 17th-century rebellion. Pawan Kalyan's much-anticipated comeback to the big screen is showing consistent strength at the box office. Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part 1: Sword vs Spirit, which hit theatres last week, is slowly but steadily building momentum despite a weekend dip in collections. On its fourth day, the historical action epic earned Rs 8.9 crore across all languages, as per data from industry tracker Sacnilk. This figure is only slightly lower than its Day 3 collection of Rs 9.15 crore. So far, the film's total box office collection stands at Rs 73.55 crore, putting it well within striking distance of the Rs 75 crore milestone. These numbers are based on early estimates from Sunday's morning, afternoon, and evening shows. Sunday saw decent footfall in Telugu-speaking regions, with the overall occupancy recorded at 39 per cent. The morning shows had 24.49 per cent occupancy while afternoon shows were at 44.85 per cent. The evening shows saw a footfall of 47.66 per cent. The film is performing strongest in Hyderabad, where the Telugu version has been drawing maximum crowds. While the original Telugu release remains the major contributor, dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam have helped widen the reach. Hari Hara Veera Mallu began its theatrical journey with an explosive opening of Rs 34.75 crore on Day 1. Though there was a drop on Friday with Rs 8 crore coming in, Saturday saw a slight rise in momentum again. In terms of 2025 releases, Hari Hara Veera Mallu failed to surpass Ram Charan's Game Changer. The film opened to a collection of Rs 51 crore. However, Pawan Kalyan's latest release has left behind some successful films like Daaku Maharaaj (Rs 25.35 crore), Sankranthiki Vasthunam (Rs 23 crore) and Kuberaa (Rs 14.75 crore). Hari Hara Veera Mallu, directed by Jyothi Krishna, transports viewers to the 17th century with a gripping tale of rebellion. Set during a time of political turmoil, the film follows a fearless outlaw who challenges an oppressive regime. Pawan Kalyan, now serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, makes a powerful return to the silver screen in the titular role. The film delves into themes of resistance, justice, and loyalty as it brings to life a turbulent chapter in history. Kalyan's character is portrayed as a fierce warrior who leads an uprising, embodying the spirit of defiance against tyranny. The screenplay has been penned by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi, Sai Madhav Burra, and Abhimanyu Srivastava. First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
