
National Media Authority Forms Supreme Committee for Cairo Media Forum

The National Media Authority has unveiled the Supreme Committee of the Cairo Media Forum, a newly formed body bringing together some of Egypt's most influential voices in media, culture, and academia. Leading the committee is Abdel Fattah El-Gibali, Chairman of Egyptian Media Production City.
Announced by Ahmed El-Meslemany, President of the National Media Authority, the committee includes figures from institutions such as the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, State Information Service, United Media Services, the Grand Egyptian Museum, the American University in Cairo, and a range of leading private media platforms.
Members of the newly formed committee include:
Essam El Amir, Deputy of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation
Osama Kamal, Media Expert and Member of the National Media Authority
Lamiaa Kamel, Former Assistant to the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities and Founder of Narrative Summit
Ola El-Shafi, Media Expert, Editor-in-Chief of Youm7, and Head of Drama at United Media Services (UMS)
Naila Farouk, Media Expert and Head of the Television Sector at Maspero
Hassan Emad, Media Professor at Cairo University
Hussein Amin, Media Professor at the American University in Cairo
Samir Omar, Media Expert and Head of the News Sector at United Media Services (UMS)
Diaa Rashwan, President of the State Information Service
Ahmed Ghoneim, Professor and CEO of the Grand Egyptian Museum
Magdy Lasheen, Secretary General of the National Media Authority
Major General Samir Farag, Former Governor of Luxor
Mohamed Hany, Media Expert and Head of Al-Nahar Channels Network
The Supreme Committee will oversee the organisation and development of the Cairo Media Forum, which aims to foster dialogue and innovation within the media sector.

China, Egypt to Boost Strategic Ties
Israa Farhan China announced today that Premier Li Qiang will soon undertake an official visit to Egypt, a move aimed at further strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two nations. Speaking at a regular press conference, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning highlighted the historical significance and evolving strength of China-Egypt relations. "Egypt is the first Arab and African country to establish diplomatic relations with New China. China and Egypt are comprehensive strategic partners. In recent years, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, China-Egypt relations have achieved robust development with deepening political mutual trust, fruitful practical cooperation in various fields as well as close and effective multilateral coordination.' During the upcoming visit, Premier Li is expected to hold in-depth discussions with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and other senior officials. Talks will focus on enhancing bilateral cooperation, promoting shared development goals, and addressing issues of mutual concern. According to Mao, the visit is aimed at further advancing the long-standing friendship between the two countries and accelerating progress toward building " building a community with a shared future for the new era." Nada Mustafa Speaker of Arab Parliament, Mr. Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, extended his warmest congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the government, the parliament, and the great people of Egypt on the anniversary of the June 30 Revolution. He affirmed that this historic revolution marked a turning point in modern Egyptian history and laid the foundation for building a modern national state. In a statement issued on Monday, Al Yamahi said: 'The June 30 Revolution was not merely a popular movement, but rather the will of a nation to reclaim its identity, protect its institutions, and rescue the state from chaos and collapse, paving the way for a new era of stability, development, and progress.' President Sisi stresses Egypt support for Sudan's unity, sovereignty, stability
Basant Ahmed President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received this evening in El Alamein City, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council. Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, said that the meeting discussed developments in Sudan, in addition to regional and international efforts to restore peace and stability there. During the meeting, the President affirmed Egypt's firm position in support of Sudan's unity, sovereignty, security, and stability, emphasizing Egypt's readiness to exert every possible effort in this regard. The two sides also agreed on the importance of intensifying efforts to provide support and assistance to the brotherly Sudanese people, in light of the dire humanitarian conditions they are suffering as a result of the ongoing conflict. The official spokesperson explained that the talks also addressed ways to strengthen bilateral relations, including efforts to rebuild Sudan and open new horizons for joint cooperation, particularly in the economic sphere, reflecting the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples to achieve integration and mutual development.
