Inter retained the option to re-sign Fabbian after his 2023 move to Bologna. Yet, they will let the 22-year-old stay at Renato Dall'Ara.
Indeed, the Nerazzurri could've brought Fabbian back for only €12 million this summer.
However, they've chosen not to give him another chance.

Inter's decision could facilitate Fabbian's transfer elsewhere.
Despite missing an opportunity for a fresh start at the San Siro, the midfielder could still secure a big move this summer.
According to the same report, Lazio have set their sights on the Padova youth academy graduate.
Lazio's interest could mean they're preparing for life after Nicolo Rovella.
Meanwhile, Rovella has emerged as a genuine target for Inter amid talks Hakan Calhnaoglu could leave the club.

Mason Greenwood and Lois Openda have emerged as potential targets for Inter Milan amid the uncertainty surrounding Ademola Lookman. According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri could turn to one of them to strengthen their attack. One leads to Lois Openda, who could leave RB Leipzig this summer after the club faltered in the Bundesliga last term. Indeed, the Red Bull outfit will not feature in the Champions League this season. As such, the Belgian forward is open to a move away in search of top-level European football. Meanwhile, Greenwood would be an even more exciting option for Inter following an outstanding season at Marseille. However, the former Manchester United forward would likely come with a hefty price tag, making the transfer less feasible.

Atalanta stalwart Ademola Lookman has used every tool available to force his long-awaited transfer to Inter Milan. According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Nigerian has handed the Nerazzurri a triple transfer boost. Inter's pursuit of the 27-year-old forward has turned into a drawn-out saga. Despite the player's desire to join the Nerazzurri, Atalanta's unwillingness to budge on their €50 million valuation remains an issue. Indeed, Cristian Chivu's men have been unable to match La Dea's asking price. For starters, the former RB Leipzig winger has already erased all social media posts linking him with Atalanta. Moreover, he deliberately skipped the team's gathering and later refused to report for training. On that basis, the player's intention looks clear and transparent. However, it's up to Inter to soften Atalanta's stance. Otherwise, they may soon need to look elsewhere for reinforcements.
