I've been using this budget-friendly cordless vacuum to suck up my dog's hair — and now it's discounted by 40% post Prime Day

Having a furry companion comes with some serious pros and cons. As a dog mum to my five-year-old rescue pup, I've been blessed with both sides of the coin. I receive endless cuddles, sloppy smooches and literal puppy-dog eyes, but at the same time, my beige couch is constantly covered in thick black fur. Thankfully, in the past month, I invested in a budget-friendly cordless vacuum that's rescued me from having to work too hard every day cleaning up the fluff — and now it's more affordable than ever. Dreame, a lesser-known brand here in Australia, has a great line of wet-dry, robot and cordless vacuum cleaners, but my saving grace is the Dreame U20. It's already remarkably affordable at AU$399.99 when at full price, but it's now discounted by 40% on Amazon, bringing it down to just AU$239.99. That's AU$160 off RRP and even more affordable than the very popular Shark IZ102 right now. Available in a gorgeous gold and beige colourway, the Dreame U20 is everything pet parents need and more, especially if you're constantly sucking up fur from your hard floors and furniture. You'd better act fast if you want to suck up these savings (pun absolutely intended) — this deal is only available on Dreame's Amazon storefront while stocks last. Knock a massive 40% off at checkout on this Dreame U20 cordless vacuum. Complete with a 100,000RPM high-speed motor, LED blue-light optic tech and up to 60 minutes runtime, this vacuum can tackle hardwood floors with ease. Plus, if you have pets, the U20 specialises in sucking up pet hair thanks to a tangle-free V-shaped brush. The Dreame U20 comes with a range of great accessories, including a combination crevice tool, a wall dock/charger and a multi-surface brush with LED blue lights that reveal hidden dust and debris. This particular attachment is paired with the extension rod for easy floor cleaning, flexible cleaning on blinds and walls, or hard-to-reach places. That's excellent value for money, even if you bought it at its RRP. My favourite attachment — and the main intrigue to the U20 — is the motorised mini brush, which clips into the main motor of the vacuum for handheld use. I particularly enjoy using this brush on my couch and decorative pillows, as it easily picks up pet hair and is extremely manoeuvrable. The aforementioned motor is also so powerful that it makes pet hair vanish in one stroke — cleaning up after my beloved pooch has never been easier. The 60-minute runtime on the device is great for most homes, and I can easily vacuum my living area, two bedrooms and two bathrooms within that time. I do find that my U20 performs better on hardwood floors and tiles compared to carpets, so do keep this in mind if you're making this purchase. It's also worth noting that the U20 doesn't have an LCD screen to show battery life or time remaining before the next charge. Instead, the battery life is displayed by a small vertical light on the back of the motor, which flashes when it needs charging. The motor is capable of running at three different speed modes, indicated by three lights on the top of the vacuum. So, if you're after a budget-friendly stick vacuum, I promise you that the Dreame U20 sure is dreamy.

Headphone deals: Great prices from Samsung, Apple, and Marshall

Ryan Haines / Android Authority The Samsung offer is available from Woot, while the other sales come from Amazon. There are some price differences, depending on which color versions you want. We'll go into more detail in each section below. Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Situational awareness, and utility lights Compared to the nearly identical Buds3, the Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro offer better sound quality, thanks to 2-way speakers, and enhanced situational awareness, thanks to advanced Ambient sound offerings. Audio is delivered through a 10.5mm DD speaker, and a 6.1mm Planar speaker. Bluetooth 5.4 offers solid connectivity and features such as Siren Detect can automatically switch ANC and Ambient Noise levels on the fly. The new Interpreter mode works with your phone to offer translations. See price at Woot! Save $140.00 This is, by far, our favorite deal today. You can save a whopping $140 on the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. In fact, the discount is bigger than the current price, which is $109.99. This is a super hot deal considering the Buds 3 Pro are great earbuds. These offer excellent sound quality and outstanding ANC performance. The rest of the experience is also on the premium side of the spectrum. They come with a pretty convenient 4.5-hour battery life (without counting the charge in the case). They are also very nicely built, with a unique look and an IP57 rating. A bit of sweat, rain, or dust will cause no issues! Just keep in mind that there are some Samsung-exclusive features. Some include device auto-switching between Samsung products, live translation, and sound detection. The latter can disable ANC if it recognizes important noises you should pay attention to, such as emergency vehicle sirens. Otherwise, these will really work perfectly with any phone. It will be really hard to beat this offer. It's available in Silver and White. The deal is available for seven days or 'until sold out.' The only caveat is that it doesn't get a full manufacturer's warranty, but you get a 90-day Woot warranty. Apple AirPods Max Apple AirPods Max (USB-C) Apple AirPods Max (USB-C) A spectacular pair of headphones with best-in-class ANC The AirPods Max wireless headphones offer best-in-class noise canceling with twenty hours of battery life. They provide excellent frequency response and great audio features. See price at Amazon Save $99.01 Are you invested in the Apople ecosystem? If you have an iPhone, iPad, MacBook, or a combination of all, your best option is to go with the Apple AirPods Max. These aren't exactly cheap, but today's $99.01 offer brings the price down to a slightly more reasonable $449.99. The Apple AirPods Max are among the industry's best headphones. They have excellent sound quality and impressive ANC performance. We also love the design, which has metal accents and a minimalist look that is now iconic of Apple products. Not to mention, they are very comfortable. Of course, you'll get plenty of features, but most are Apple-exclusive. These include automatic device-switching between Apple devices, gesture controls, Siri support, and more. While the battery life is not extraordinary, it is nothing to scoff at. We managed to get about 21 hours per full charge. Our only real gripe with these headphones is the price, but that is slightly better right now! The deal is available for all color versions except Purple. Marshall Major V Marshall Major V Marshall Major V The Marshall Major V headphones are a fun, rock-and-roll-inspired option for casual listeners who don't need ANC. With plush ear pads, long battery life, and wireless and wired listening options, the Major V headphones still have plenty to offer. However, its stock sound needs some taming from its companion app EQ for the best possible listening experience. See price at Amazon Save $60.00 Limited Time Deal! Samsung and Apple are super popular, and their audio gear is excellent, but there is a very special place in my heart for Marshall. The brand's history and culture are just the beginning. These headphones are also gorgeous and very solidly built. They look super cool. The Marshall Major V are fun, and rock-and-roll fans will absolutely love them. The earpads are pretty comfortable, and they offer a great experience across the board. Sound quality is pretty good, but these don't come with ANC, so keep that in mind before making a decision. These have more than impressive battery life, which is likely the model's biggest highlight. Marshall mentions they can last over 100 hours, and during our testing, we managed to get well over 90 hours per charge! We also love that you get both wireless and wired listening options. The stock sound is a bit treble-heavy, but you can customize that in the app's EQ. Most color versions available are equally discounted. The only exception is the Midnight Blue model. Are you going for any of these? Sign up for these deals before they go away! If you're not quite convinced, though, you can always look at other options in our lists of the best headphones and best wireless earbuds.

These Stylish Bluetooth Headphones With Unbelievable Battery Life Are Cheaper Than Ever

Discount available: Marshall's Major V headphones are worth it even at full price but right now they're down to $100 -- or around 38% off -- on Amazon, their all-time lowest price on the site. This covers the black, brown and cream colored versions, but not the midnight blue version for whatever reason. I might not be a true battle-tested headphone expert like CNET's David Carnoy but I still love headphones and I'm confident in what I like about them. My most recent pickup, the Marshall Major V on-ear Bluetooth headphones, quickly became a pair that I adore. What is Marshall? Marshall is a British audio hardware company that got its start in the early '60s and became renowned for producing amps and speakers for live music performances. More recently, it's made a mark in consumer audio, producing home speakers with a distinctly rock 'n' roll aesthetic -- think rough-patterned black leather materials, gold trim and prominent physical buttons. Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money. The brand also has brought its signature sound and style to headphones. Recently, I picked up the Major V, Marshall's latest iteration of its on-ear Bluetooth model (that's V as in 5), and I could hardly love them more. Marshall boasts that these headphones can last up to 100 hours on one charge, an almost ludicrous number that has largely held up as I've used them. The audio quality, while not a patch on the heavier hitters in the Bluetooth market, is excellent for its price, with strong bass and clean high notes. Vocals can sometimes come off a little shabby at first blush, but I find you get used to it real quick. The connectivity performance has also really impressed me. For such a cheap pair of headphones, the Major V easily maintain connections to at least two devices at a time and can switch between them almost seamlessly. That's not something I've found to be the case for a lot of the affordable Bluetooth headphones I've tried in the past. It's a strong contender overall in the budget Bluetooth headphones space. Why does this deal matter? I was able to scoop up the Marshall Major V for $100, the lowest their price has gone since they debuted last year. For that price, it's basically a steal. For the amount of blissful use I've gotten out of them so far -- listening to music, watching movies or getting through my audiobooks -- it's been more than worth the price of admission. They usually retail for about $160, making their current price a 38% discount.
