Paresh spoke about the unforgettable kidnapping scene from the film. He revealed that the entire scene was shot in a single take. He explained that directors like Rajkumar Santoshi and David Dhawan prefer not to use too many cuts in comic scenes. 'They shoot in single takes, which makes it feel like live theatre,' he said. When asked about why his character in 'Andaaz Apna Apna' is still so loved, Paresh Rawal gave full credit to the film's writers and director Rajkumar Santoshi. He admitted that during that time, he mostly played negative roles. 'Back then, I used to do some really terrible villain roles… so getting a role like this was a big deal,' he said.
