England dumped their traditional white shirt and deep blue shorts, while Italy wore light green on Tuesday night.
The Italians typically wear their iconic Savoy azure, deemed the national colour of Italy.
This wouldn't have necessarily clashed with England's white jersey, but the Lionesses home kit does include blue shorts.
Sarina Wiegman's side home uniform also includes blue strips down the side and around the collar and chest.

And Uefa rules dictate that there must be a clear contrast between the home and away kits of competing teams to avoid confusion for fans and officials.
But confused supporters were left perplexed by the call.
One joked online: "Both teams playing in their away kits - OK come clean - who forgot to check their emails?"
Another quizzed: "Why are both teams wearing their away kits considering if they wore the home kits would still blue vs white?"

A third asked: "Beats me why England can't be in all white and Italy in all blue here honestly. This is awful lol."
While a fourth added: "Neither team wearing their home kit is the absolute worst outcome for any football match though."

But both home kits could've caused a clash because the Lionesses' kit includes a lot of blue.
Meanwhile, Italy's green away kit would've clashed with England's home kit.
Italy wore their green away kit for the first time in the tournament during their shock 2-1 quarter-final win over Norway.
And it's gifted the team more luck, as the Azzurre went 1-0 up through Barbara Bonansea's smart finish from six yards out inside 33 minutes.

Sinner re-appoints former fitness coach Ferrara

LONDON, July 23 (Reuters) - Wimbledon champion Jannik Sinner has re-appointed his former fitness coach Umberto Ferrara with immediate effect, the Italian world number one confirmed on Wednesday. Sinner parted ways with Ferrara and physiotherapist Giacomo Naldi last year following the investigation into his positive tests for banned substance clostebol in March. "The decision has been made in alignment with Jannik's management team as part of ongoing preparations for upcoming tournaments, including the Cincinnati Open and U.S. Open," a statement from Sinner's team said. "Umberto has played an important role in Jannik's development to date, and his return reflects a renewed focus on continuity and performance at the highest level." Sinner received a three-month ban agreed with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) in February. WADA had appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against an independent tribunal's decision last August to clear Sinner of wrongdoing. Sinner, who returned to action in May and lost to Carlos Alcaraz in the French Open final before beating him to win Wimbledon, said clostebol, which can build muscle mass, entered his system after Naldi applied an over-the-counter spray to a cut on his own hand before carrying out treatments on Sinner. The spray had been given to Naldi by trainer Ferrara. Sinner was cleared of fault or negligence by an independent tribunal, which accepted that he had inadvertently been contaminated with the substance. Speaking at last year's U.S. Open, Sinner explained his decision to part ways with Ferrara and Naldi. "Now, because of these mistakes, I'm not feeling that confident to continue with them. I was struggling a lot in the last months. I was waiting for the result. The only thing I need right now is some clean air," he said. Ferrara, who had laid the blame for the incident on Naldi, worked with Sinner's fellow Italian Matteo Berrettini this year.
