ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC), has awarded winners of the Abu Dhabi Grand Kingfish Championship 2025.Organised by ADSC, Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority and Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, the championship promoted traditional sports and UAE maritime heritage. His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the efforts of organisers and highlighted the event's role in supporting traditional fishing methods while fostering community engagement with the UAE's maritime heritage.
His Highness further highlighted the UAE leadership's support for events that preserve national identity, promote connection to traditions, and enhance Abu Dhabi's position as a sports and tourism destination.
