Many celebrities aspire for their children to attain the same level of success in the film industry as they have. The practice of introducing star offspring into movies is far from recent. Often, these children receive preferential treatment due to their parents' esteemed reputation. Yet, following the triumph of his debut film, he faced significant challenges in maintaining his place in the film industry. Who Is This Star Kid? Here we are referring to Bollywood actor Kumar Gaurav, who is son of the legendary actor Rajendra Kumar. The story of Kumar Gaurav, who is celebrating his 67th birthday on July 11, is full of ups and downs, struggle, success and failure. The life of this actor, who was the heartbeat of millions at one time, is far away from the silver screen today, but his story still inspires. How One Film Shaped Kumar Gaurav's Career? In the 1980s, when there was a period of romantic stories in Bollywood, Rahul Rawail's film 'Love Story' created a stir in the hearts of the youth. In this film, the new pair of Kumar Gaurav and Vijayta Pandit won the audience's hearts. Kumar Gaurav created a stir with his handsome look, innocence and brilliant acting. Gaurav's 'Love Story' proved to be a blockbuster at the box office and Gaurav became a star overnight, surpassing actors like Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor. Kumar Gaurav's Overnight Success After the huge success of 'Love Story', Kumar Gaurav was flooded with film offers. His acting in his next film 'Teri Kasam' (1982) was also appreciated, although this film was not as successful as 'Love Story'. After this, he spread the magic of his acting in films like 'Lovers' and 'Naam'. Especially his role in 'Naam' (1986) was well liked by the audience and critics. In this film, he was with an actor like Sanjay Dutt and Gaurav proved with his presence that he is not just a star kid but also a talented artist. When Kumar Gaurav Refused Working With Young Actresses However, reports started coming out about him that he had become arrogant and according to some reports, Gaurav refused to work with younger actresses, due to which the number of his films started decreasing. Many of his films did not perform as expected at the box office, due to which his stardom gradually started declining. The Fall Of Kumar Gaurav In 1993, father Rajendra Kumar produced the film 'Phool' to revive his career, in which Gaurav was in the lead role. But, this film also failed to draw the audience to the theatres. His last Bollywood film was 'Kaante' (2002), in which he shared screen space with stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Suniel Shetty, Mahesh Manjrekar and Sanjay Dutt. He made his last appearance in 2006 short film 'My Daddy Strongest', since from then he bid farewell to the big screen. Gaurav has left behind the glamorous life of acting, it has now been 23 years since his last on-screen presence and he is now spending a simple life with his family.

Exclusive - Pushpa Impossible actress Indraxi Kanjilal shares the joy of buying her first car in Mumbai: My parents, my family, and everyone are so proud of me

Young actress Indraxi Kanjilal, known for her role as Prarthana in Pushpa Impossible, recently bought her first car in Mumbai and shared her joy at having her own vehicle. She says, 'I think buying my first car is a special moment for me, and it is indeed a big achievement. My parents, my family, and everyone are so proud of me. And I'm just so happy that I could make them proud. That's all I've ever wanted—to make my people proud. My fans are happy, they're proud of me. Honestly, since childhood, that has been one of my most important goals—to make the people I love proud. I was talking to my father, and he said, 'You got your first car at 21; I got mine in my 30s. It's a big deal that you could do this at such a young age. I'm so proud of you.' Hearing that made me so emotional. I was there with my pet daughter (cat), Godi, and she was really happy too. She was hanging around in the car and loved it. Actually, she's never been comfortable in cars, but this one was different. It's the first time she felt at ease in a car, and I think it's because she knew it was her mother's car. That just made me love it even more. Even my grandmothers sat in it and enjoyed the ride. Seeing them happy meant everything to me. In the end, that's what matters: happiness and pride.' Sharing the effort she put into buying her first car, Indraxi says, 'Getting my first car took a lot of effort, actually. I've been working for three years now and am currently in my fourth year in the industry. Since my second year, I've really wanted a car because travelling in Mumbai is such a hassle. With the traffic, long distances, and the struggle of finding an Uber, it just becomes too much sometimes. So I thought, 'Let's get a car. ' But I also told myself that I would only buy one when I was financially ready. Honestly, I was a little nervous too, because owning a car comes with a lot of added responsibilities and expenses. But still, I felt confident. I told myself I'm ready to take on everything that comes with it. I bought the car when I felt truly prepared, and now I just have to go with the flow and enjoy this new journey. It's a brand-new and very exciting experience for me.' Indraxi will be driving her car but also plans to hire a driver whenever says, 'I'll have a driver with me in the beginning, and I'll drive a little at a time to build my confidence. Hopefully, with enough practice, I'll be ready to handle Mumbai traffic on my own. With my new car, I would love to go to Marine Drive—it's such a beautiful place, especially in the monsoon. I really love visiting Chowpatty too. I had always told myself that when I got my first car, I would drive to Marine Drive and just sit there, breathing in the fresh, beautiful air. That's exactly what I want to do. I also plan to take my family with me. I'm hoping that my father will come down from Kolkata so that we can all go for a drive together. That would be so special and so much fun.' Did you know Gauahar Khan drove herself to the hospital for her delivery? Here's what actress revealed

Anshul Trivedi: My Goa trips are unlike what you see on Instagram

Anshul Trivedi — Janice Rodrigues While people come to Goa for the nightlife, or the beach, actor Anshul Trivedi 's trips here are different. He prefers a quiet time in nature. In a chat with Goa Times he says, 'My trips aren't like what Goa trips look like on Instagram . I crave to be in nature, it helps me recalibrate. Whenever I am around a waterbody, be it a river or sea, I feel as if I am being grounded and all the extra baggage is being taken off. I try to take such breaks where I do nothing. Absolutely nothing. I sit quietly in nature, I eat simple food and I sleep. And most importantly, I don't click pictures and share them. Now that's the USP of my Goa trip.' Speaking further about what he loves about the place, Anshul says, 'I love that I can be in Goa in an hour and it is nature at its best, if you know where to go. I prefer the monsoons because contrary to popular belief, I feel Goa blooms during rains.' 'I don't run away from situations' Actors go through their share of ups and downs, so how does he cope with it? 'I visit Goa during ups and downs!' he says with a smile. Anshul adds, 'Jokes apart, I have a philosophy which I follow during tough times, I consciously live with the situations I am dealing with. I don't run away. I am with it and gradually it dissolves.' 'A few interesting offers are in pipeline' The actor, who has worked across mediums, says he is focusing on TV right now. 'My show Pushpa Impossible is what keeps me busy. It's practically not possible to focus on anything else especially when you are playing one of the leading parts in a TV show. Few interesting OTT offers are in the pipeline. Fingers crossed.
