Firmino moving to Qatar after leaving Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli
Firmino has signed a two-year deal with the Qatar Stars League champions, having led Al-Ahli to the Asian Champions League Elite title in Jeddah in May.
'I'm happy because we made history at the club during these two years together,' the Brazilian said in a farewell video released by the Saudi club.
'The best moment was to become the champions of Asia. I'm very grateful for this.'

Firmino spent two seasons with Al-Ahli after joining from Liverpool and played a key role in the club's first continental title win, scoring six times in 12 games in the Asian Champions League Elite.
He provided assists for both of his club's goals in their win over Japan's Kawasaki Frontale in the final in May to become the first player - alongside clubmates Riyad Mahrez and Edouard Mendy - to win continental titles in Asia and Europe.
Firmino's performances saw him named the competition's most valuable player.
The 33-year-old joins an Al-Sadd side that won last season's domestic title to qualify for the next edition of the Asian Champions League Elite.

New Delhi, July 25 (UNI) India's 70 kg boxer Hitesh Gulia who won the Gold and Silver medal respectively at the World Boxing Cup Brazil 2025 and World Boxing Cup -Astana, Kazakhstan 2025, says he is working on increasing his speed and sharpening his attacking abilities in order to further improve his game. In an exclusive interview to UNI on the sidelines of the felicitation function held for the Indian boxing contingent that participated in the two events, Gulia said: "My footwork is quite good. I am working further on my attack and on increasing my speed." Gulia characterises his boxing style as slow-paced and tactical. "I like to assess the opponent during bouts and mould my game accordingly. Every opponent is different; hence one needs to be flexible." The 20-year-old said that the two tournaments were of very high quality, and added that his match against Brazil's Kaian Oliveira was the toughest he has played so far. Gulia lost 0-5 to Oliveira in the Gold medal match in Astana. 'All matches in Brazil and Astana were tough, but the final match against the Brazilian in Astana was the toughest game I have ever played.' The Jhajjar native said that he will now be preparing for the 'World Boxing Championships 2025' that will be held in Liverpool, England, from September 4-14.
