‘These are bada**': Las Vegas police to receive Cybertruck fleet from donor
According to Sheriff Kevin McMahill, the department will be receiving 10 Cybertrucks, which will be made to look like LVMPD patrol and SWAT cars.
The sheriff posted what appeared to be renderings of what the trucks could look like on his X account, writing 'These are bada**.'
McMahill said none of the Cybertrucks will come from the department's budget and were all donated by an unnamed individual.
The donation was made before the New Year's Day Cybertruck explosion at Trump Tower, police said.
The trucks were announced as part of a speech McMahill gave about new technology coming to the department, including semi-autonomous drones tied to shot-spotting technology

2 Mega-Cap Stocks for Long-Term Investors and 1 We Avoid
Megacap stocks dominate their sectors and their actions influence economies worldwide. The flip side though is that their sheer size means they have less room for explosive growth as scale works against them. These trade-offs can cause headaches for even the most seasoned professionals, which is why we started StockStory - to help you find high-quality companies that can grow their earnings no matter what. Keeping that in mind, here are two industry titans whose competitive advantages create flywheel effects and one whose momentum may slow. One Mega-Cap Stock to Sell: Tesla (TSLA) Market Cap: $994.3 billion Originally founded by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning in 2003, Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) is an electric vehicle company accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. Why Do We Steer Clear of TSLA? Tesla's scale advantage in EV production leads to gross margins that exceed incumbents such as General Motors and Ford. However, a softer macroeconomic backdrop and tariff pressures have weighed on automobile sales, which are highly cyclical. The company's execution ability is a question mark given its long history of delays, such as the Cybertruck and Robotaxi launches. Its sizeable investments in projects with uncertain return timelines, like Optimus, also raise skepticism from investors. On the bright side, Tesla's Megapack product solves a critical problem for utilities needing renewable energy storage solutions. This innovation has made the energy segment the most profitable and fastest-growing business line for the company. At $306.90 per share, Tesla trades at 146.5x forward price-to-earnings. If you're considering TSLA for your portfolio, see our FREE research report to learn more. Two Mega-Cap Stocks to Watch: Nvidia (NVDA) Market Cap: $4.34 trillion Founded in 1993 by Jensen Huang and two former Sun Microsystems engineers, Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) is a leading fabless designer of chips used in gaming, PCs, data centers, automotive, and a variety of end markets. Why Will NVDA Outperform? Annual revenue growth of 140% over the past two years was outstanding, reflecting market share gains this cycle Share buybacks catapulted its annual earnings per share growth to 80.2%, which outperformed its revenue gains over the last five years Strong free cash flow margin of 48.8% enables it to reinvest or return capital consistently, and its recently improved profitability means it has even more resources to invest or distribute Nvidia's stock price of $176.69 implies a valuation ratio of 37.7x forward P/E. Coca-Cola (KO) Market Cap: $292.2 billion A pioneer and behemoth in carbonated soft drinks, Coca-Cola (NYSE:KO) is a storied beverage company best known for its flagship soda. Why Does KO Stand Out? Enormous revenue base of $47.23 billion provides significant negotiating leverage in retail partnerships Products command premium prices and lead to a best-in-class gross margin of 61.1% Disciplined cost controls and effective management resulted in a strong two-year operating margin of 25.1%, and its profits increased over the last year as it scaled Coca-Cola is trading at $68.01 per share, or 21.9x forward P/E. Tesla Stock (NASDAQ:TSLA) Slides as European Tesla Buyers Find Options Curtailed
Interested in a new Tesla (TSLA) electric vehicle? Live in Europe? Then I have some bad news for you today, as your shopping options got just a little narrower. Two models of Tesla vehicles are apparently no longer available for order in Europe. Leaving money on the table seldom sits well with shareholders, and today proved no exception. Shares slid nearly 2% in Thursday morning's trading. Elevate Your Investing Strategy: Take advantage of TipRanks Premium at 50% off! Unlock powerful investing tools, advanced data, and expert analyst insights to help you invest with confidence. Tesla will no longer be taking orders for the Model S and the Model X in Europe, reports note. Investigations of several countries' Tesla sites—including Italy, France, Germany and more—confirmed that the S and X were nowhere to be seen. Only 'inventory' versions of these cars were available for purchase. However, the Model 3 and the Model Y were both unfazed by the change, and were still available for order with full configuration options. Reports suggest that the Model S and the Model X are considered 'other' models at Tesla, along with the Cybertruck. And given that Tesla only delivered 10,394 of those 'other' models in the latest quarter, this may be a sign that Tesla is no longer supplying what people do not want. Other reports, however, note that this kind of thing has happened before. When lead time for orders grows too long, Tesla has been known to shut down ordering on certain models to let production catch up. Now With New Lighting! Other reports note that Tesla has brought out a new feature that customers have been eagerly anticipating for some time now. For cars with interior ambient lighting, the new Version 2025.26+ Software Update will bring out an exciting new feature: 'Sync Accent Lights w/Music.' Available in the Tesla Toybox, the update basically turns your car's interior into a sweet dance party. More specifically, it takes the car's interior lighting and allows it to both pulse rhythmically and change color according to the music being played. This is not at all a performance feature. But in terms of sheer gee-whiz factor, it is hard to beat an interior lighting scheme that will adjust itself according to your musical preferences. That might be the kind of thing that tilts some customers into a buying decision, and Tesla could use more buyers right now. Is Tesla a Buy, Hold or Sell? Turning to Wall Street, analysts have a Hold consensus rating on TSLA stock based on 14 Buys, 14 Holds, and eight Sells assigned in the past three months, as indicated by the graphic below. After a 47.12% rally in its share price over the past year, the average TSLA price target of $310.84 per share implies 0.45% downside risk.

Man threw petrol bomb at police outside Aldi
A man who threw a petrol bomb at police before pointing an imitation firearm towards them has been found guilty of attempting to cause an explosion with intent to endanger life. David Wiatrowski, 36, used a hammer to smash the windows of an Aldi store in Boston, Lincolnshire, on New Year's Day, before confronting officers who arrived to arrest him. Wiatrowski, of Bradford Road, Boston, previously admitted possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, affray and criminal damage at a hearing in February. He was convicted by a jury at Lincoln Crown Court on Wednesday following a three-day trial and is due to be sentenced on 2 October. Lincolnshire Police said that at the time of the incident, Wiatrowski had what appeared to be a firearm in a holster on his right hip. He shouted to officers to get back in their vehicle as he lit a rag in a bottle and threw it towards them, before making a motion with the gun as if he were cocking it. Wiatrowski fled, but was arrested on 10 January after a member of the public responded to an appeal. According to police, Wiatrowski had no apparent motive for his actions, but told officers he was bored with life and wanted to make a Molotov cocktail – a type of petrol bomb. Officers found CCTV footage of him attempting to fill a drinking bottle with petrol as part of his plan. When questioned about why he had thrown the petrol bomb and pointed the gun, he said he wanted to scare the officers, "to think they were going to die". He also told police he had no intention of entering the store, on Queen Street, after smashing the windows. Det Insp Melissa Rooke said: "This was a calculated and entirely senseless act, carried out with blatant disregard for the impact it would have. "It's no surprise that those who responded to this incident were profoundly affected by what they encountered. Our officers faced an individual whose clear objective was to instil fear and potentially inflict serious harm."
