UN: Israel's blocking of aid makes Gaza hungriest place on earth

Saba Yemen30-05-2025
Berlin - Saba:
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said on Thursday that Israel is preventing all but a small amount of humanitarian aid from entering Gaza, with virtually no ready-to-eat food entering what the OCHA spokesman described as "the hungriest place on earth."
Office spokesman Jens Laerke added that only 600 of the 900 aid trucks authorized to reach the Israeli-Gaza border have reached the Gaza Strip. From there, a combination of bureaucratic and security obstacles has made it nearly impossible to safely bring aid into the Strip, according to Reuters.
With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has been committing genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 54,249 citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 123,492 others, as of yesterday, Thursday, in a preliminary toll, with thousands of victims still under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulance and rescue crews.

Government Media Office in Gaza condemns confessions made by American security officer

Gaza – Saba: The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip said that the confessions of the American security officer expose the "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" and constitute damning evidence of the criminal and inhumane nature of that organization. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the office condemned in the strongest terms the shocking confessions made to the media by a former American security officer who worked in the "death traps" of the so-called "American-Israeli aid distribution centers" in the Gaza Strip. Popular Front for Liberation of Palestine: Imposing sovereignty over West Bank is dangerous escalation , part of settlement & judaization schemes

Beirut – Saba: The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) stated on Wednesday evening that "the decision by the enemy's parliament, the Knesset, to pass a proposal with a majority of 71 votes endorsing the imposition of sovereignty over the West Bank and the Jordan Valley represents a dangerous escalation and an integral part of the occupation's schemes to settle, Judaize, and displace the Palestinian population." In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the PFLP emphasized that "the Israeli enemy already exercises full control over the land and commits all forms of crimes, from ethnic cleansing and destruction of infrastructure to land seizures across the West Bank, while allowing settler militias to carry out every kind of crime against our people, their villages, cities, and agricultural lands." The statement added, "However, formalizing this step legally reinforces the occupation, entrenches its presence, expands its settlement and Judaization project, and confines our people to isolated enclaves as a prelude to forced displacement." The PFLP affirmed that "unity and resistance are the only means to confront this dangerous scheme, which is no less severe than the genocidal crimes the occupation is committing in Gaza."
