Tommy Robinson arrested over alleged assault at London train station
On Monday, British Transport Police said: "Officers from BTP have tonight arrested a 42-year-old man from Bedfordshire in connection to an assault at St Pancras station in London on July 28.
"The arrest took place at Luton Airport shortly after 6.30pm, following a notification that the man had boarded an incoming flight from Faro.
"The man had been wanted for questioning after leaving the country to Tenerife in the early hours of August 29 following the incident at St Pancras.
"He was arrested on suspicion of GBH (Grievous Bodily Harm) and will now be taken to custody for questioning."

Residents tell of waking to gunshot sounds after man is murdered in north London
Residents have told of waking to the sounds of gunshots after a 45-year-old man was shot dead in north London. Metropolitan Police officers found the victim with gunshot injuries in Dynevor Road, Stoke Newington, in the early hours of Tuesday. A murder investigation has been launched but no arrests have been made. Liza Dodds, 58, a youth worker who lives opposite Dynevor Road, said: 'My husband woke up and said there was gunshots. The instant reaction was 'how do you know?' 'We both got up and had a look. A police officer was doing CPR where the person fell. It seemed like they were going forever.' Another resident said: 'I heard a few gunshots and the first thing I thought was that it was fireworks, because you don't expect it to be a gun. 'I was trying to sleep but then later I heard sirens from the police cars.' One resident, who asked to remain anonymous, said: 'We were out when it happened so we didn't hear or see anything. 'But when we came back at around 1am, the whole area was cordoned off and the police officers told us that it will be a crime scene for a couple of days.' Four forensic officers in scrubs and masks were at the scene on Tuesday afternoon, alongside several police officers. A Lime bike was lying flat in the cordoned area. The forensic officers used torches to investigate underneath the nine cars parked on the street. Scotland Yard said the man's next of kin have been told and a post-mortem examination will take place. Detective Chief Superintendent Brittany Clarke said: 'Our team of detectives and forensic specialists are working at pace to establish the full circumstances that led to the tragic death of this man. 'We understand this incident will cause concern within the Stoke Newington community, however we do believe this to be an isolated incident at this stage of the investigation with no wider risk to the general public.' It is the sixth fatal shooting in London so far this year.

Police arrest suspect in killings of 4 Tennessee family members
The man wanted in the killings of the parents, grandmother and uncle of an infant found alone has been arrested, police in Tennessee said Tuesday. Austin Robert Drummond, 28, was taken into custody amid a search, police in Jackson, Tennessee, said in a social media post. Drummond's arrest came shortly after police had warned residents to stay inside their homes, having received a report that the man was spotted in a neighborhood. Jackson is more than 100 miles (161 kilometers) southwest of Nashville. Further details about Drummond's arrest weren't immediately available, and it was not immediately clear whether he had an attorney who could speak on his behalf. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has already charged Tanaka Brown, 29, and Giovonte Thomas, 29, with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder. Investigators allege both men 'assisted' Drummond, 28, in the family's killings. Many questions are still unanswered, including how the relatives were slain and how the baby ended up in the Tigrett area, about 40 miles (64 kilometers) from the bodies. Last week, authorities said they found the car they believe Drummond had been driving. Ex-Arsenal footballer Thomas Partey in court on rape and sexual assault charges
The former Arsenal footballer Thomas Partey has appeared in court charged with six sexual offences. The 32-year-old was bailed to appear at the Old Bailey for trial later this year over allegations of rape and sexual assault. During Tuesday's brief hearing at Westminster magistrates court, he stood in the dock dressed all in black with his arms behind his back. Partey has been charged with five counts of rape against two women and a charge of sexual assault against a third woman. The alleged offences are said to have taken place in 2021 and 2022 when he was an Arsenal player. The chief magistrate Paul Goldspring granted conditional bail, telling Partey he must not contact any of the three women. Partey was also told he must notify police of any permanent change of address and if he is to stay somewhere other than his home for 14 consecutive days. He was also told to notify police of any international travel ahead of time. Partey joined Arsenal from Atlético Madrid in 2020 in a transfer worth about £45m. The defensive midfielder had signed for the Spanish club in 2012 and made 188 appearances, as well as going out on loan to Mallorca and Leganés. He played 35 games for Arsenal in the Premier League last season, scoring four goals. Partey left the north London club at the end of his contract this summer. As bail conditions were discussed in court, Goldspring said: 'I understand he's no longer employed in this country and playing in Spain now.' The Metropolitan police said they first received allegations against him of rape in February 2022.
