Now it seems that the writing is well and truly on the wall for Mel and Geri's friendship, and for the artist formerly known as Ginger Spice to boot.
The saddest part of this for fans – apart from learning it's not true that friendship never ends – is that a Spice reunion seems more unlikely than ever.
Geri's insistence to move forward with her new life path, never even glancing back, could end up costing all five girls millions. But even worse, it seems to indicate that Ginger Spice has left the building.
This time, for good.
