For the first time ever, Lebanese founders, inventors, and hustlers will get the chance to step into the iconic Shark Tank spotlight, pitch their vision, and secure real investment to take their businesses to the next level.
While we still don't know who the investors are, we do know it will be made up of Lebanese businesspeople and investors.
Shark Tank, which has helped launch over 1,000 businesses around the world, is known for turning underdog entrepreneurs into household names. With shows across the world, LBCI is finally bringing it to Lebanon.
Shark Tank isn't a stranger to Lebanese. One of the main investors in Shark Tank USA, Kevin O'Leary, has credited on the show his Lebanese and Phoenician heritage for his success. His mother is Lebanese.
Lebanese entrepreneur sisters, Donna and Rosy Khalife, secured a deal for Surprise Ride, a curated subscription box for kids, which O'Leary invested in and was later acquired. Lebanese trio Tony Lahood, William Moujaes, and Michael Khoury secured an investment for their product from both O'Leary and Herjavec.
Now, it's looking for talent in Lebanon, and casting is officially open.

BEIRUT — President Joseph Aoun congratulated the city of Zahleh on Sunday after it was named "International City of Vine and Wine" for 2025 by the International Organization of Vine and Wine. On Wednesday, the International Organization of Vine and Wine announced in a statement relayed by the state-run National News Agency its "approval of the designation of Zahleh as a World Wine City (...) in recognition of its historical, cultural, and agricultural role in promoting grape cultivation and wine production.' Also on Wednesday, the municipality of Zahleh announced that the city officially received the title of "City of Wine" for 2025, making it is the tenth place worldwide to earn this recognition. Aoun considered this announcement as an achievement for Lebanon and the "result of joint efforts by the Agriculture Ministry and wine producers in Lebanon to develop and market Lebanese wine over the past years", according to the state-run National News Agency. 'Congratulations to Zahleh and Lebanon, Lebanese wine has gone global", the President added. With the support of the Agriculture Minster, Nizar Hani, Zahleh had submitted a comprehensive file to the international organization that included maps of the areas planted with grapes, the number of wineries in the city and its district, and data showing Zahleh's leadership in this sector. The organization then took its decision based on the city's scientific and professional criteria.

BEIRUT — Ziad Rahbani, one of the country's greatest cultural pillars, hailed from a family of legendary musicians. Rahbani, a renowned musician, political commentator and playwright, passed away on Saturday at the age of 69. Here's an overview of the most notable artists in the Rahbani family: The first generation: Feyrouz and the Rahbani Brothers Ziad's mother: the Lebanese icon Fairuz (born in 1934) Iconic singer and actress, one of the most celebrated Arab singers of the 20th century.
