Amor Vittone slams filter critics: 'People want to do what you do'

Amor Vittone – the widow of the late Joost van der Westhuzien – has clapped back against critics who called her out for using filters on images she posts on social media. The 53-year–old entertainer recently announced that she was working on new music. Speaking on Jacaranda FM last week, Amor Vittone responded to criticism surrounding her images posted on social media. She said: 'Secretly, people want to do what you do…but seemingly judging others. 'Listen, I'm going to use a filter. It's not about me wanting to look young again. But it's me wanting to give the best version of myself. She added, 'It's not about looking different; it's about enhancing what you have. You put on makeup, you do your hair. Confidence is key. And if I'm confident, and I feel pretty, that shines through!' Amor Vittone's youthful face has sparked social media commentary. Images via Facebook: @officialamorvittone While Amor Vittone has dated a plastic surgeon in the past, she has been adamant that she hasn't had any. Late last year, the mother of two shut down speculation about her appearance. In the comments section of one of her posts, she posted: 'Kan julle net relax! Nie Botox of fillers nie. [Can you relax! No botox or filler]. Instead, she credited her picture-perfect snaps to 'good make-up and lighting with slight filter.' Let us know by leaving a comment below, or send a WhatsApp to 060 011 021 1 . Jesse Kriel does it again with another gwijo song!

Jesse Kriel has done it again with another entertaining performance of a gwijo song, as sung with Siya Kolisi. Over the weekend, the rugby star stepped into Siya's shoes once again to lead the Boks against the battle with Italy in Loftus. The South African rugby squad beat their opponents 42-24. In a clip posted on TikTok, Siya Kolisi shared a playful look at Jesse Kriel singing another gwijo song. Jesse is fluent in English, Afrikaans, Zulu, and Xhosa. A recent viral video also revealed that Springbok can speak Japanese! @siyakolisi Tshawe 🙌🏾🇿🇦 #sportsontiktok #rugby #springboks #gwijo #siyakolisi ♬ original sound – Siya Kolisi Over the weekend, Jesse Kriel became South Africa's 67th test game captain. The special event marked 30 years since the Springboks beat the All Blacks in Loftus at the Rugby World Cup final. The nod to the number 67 comes as SA will dedicate 67 minutes in memory of the late Nelson Mandela on his birthday, which is celebrated on 18 July. Madiba, as he was affectionately known, was present at the historic and emotional game back in 1995. ARE YOU A FAN OF JESSE KRIEL? LaConco shows off Durban July dress inspired by farming business

Reality TV personality and fashion designer, Nonkanyiso Conco – fondly known as LaConco – showed off a Durban July outfit that reflected her new career venture as a female farmer. The 33-year-old was one of many Real Housewives of Durban stars who attended the horse racing and fashion event. LaConco – who has a son with former president Jacob Zuma – quit the show after just one season. In an Instagram post, LaConco revealed her look for the Durban July, which took place at the Greyville Racecourse over the weekend. The ensemble featured a two-piece outfit with a trail featuring the image of a ram. According to the TV star, the look was inspired by her recent venture into sheep and goat farming. LaConco added that the look was her original concept based on the event's 2025 theme, 'Marvels of Mzansi'. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Nonkanyiso Conco (@_laconco) Last month, the fashionista revealed that she had ventured into farming livestock, specifically sheep and goats. She shared on Instagram about her career venture: 'With every lie, betrayal, and broken promises, I've learned to start exactly where I am. 'My dreams are mine to fulfill. It has been proven repeatedly that my gift lies in the areas where I must work the hardest'.
