Before becoming the king of romance with films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge, Devdas, and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Shah Rukh Khan gained recognition through his television series, such as Fauji. In a conversation with Magic Moments YouTube Channel, Navjot Singh Sidhu recalled how he had warned SRK when he said he was going to Bollywood, and also shared the superstar's savage response. Sidhu recalled meeting SRK in Lucknow after a match and how SRK was fanboying over him, but in return, he told him that he watched television to see him in Fauji and Circus. When Kapil Dev asked Sidhu who SRK was, he recalled replying, "He is a big star."
Sidhu then remembered asking SRK about his future plans and how he warned him against working in Bollywood. "He said, Sir, I am going to Bollywood. I said, 'Teri mat maari gayi hai? (Have you lost your mind?)' I told him, 'you need parents there, you need someone who can support you. Your parents aren't there, you just told me'. He told me, 'Sidhu saab, I will manage.' I told him, 'there's cutthroat competition there. They will eat you like a sausage for breakfast'. That's the exact line I told him," Sidhu said.
He then recalled SRK's response to his warning and said, "SRK said 'Sidhu saab, can I say something?' He told me, 'I don't compete with anyone. I am my own competition'. He is a very polite man. He was very polite, and he is the same even today. Abhishek Bachchan came on our show, he said, 'SRK is the only guy who is not insecure'. Only that person can not be insecure who knows that he is like the Himalaya mountain and small things couldn't affect him. He was still like this."
SRK made his comeback to the big screen with Pathaan, and created a stir at the box office with the film earning over ₹1,000 crore gross. He followed this success with Jawan and Dunki. Now, the actor is currently working on his upcoming film King. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the film also reportedly stars Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Abhay Verma, Saurabh Shukla and others in key roles.

Aishwarya Rai once romanced with Salman Khan after breaking up with him, was involved in this intimate scene, film is…

It's been over two decades since Sanjay Leela Bhansali gave us all a cinematic masterpiece, Devdas . Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, and Madhuri Dixit, the 2002 epic became a global sensation, celebrated for its grandeur, timeless music, and emotionally charged performances. But very few know, Salman Khan was also part of this iconic film… just not in the way you'd expect. The hidden cameo Though Devdas is remembered for Shah Rukh and Aishwarya's searing chemistry, film critic Anupama Chopra's book quietly reveals a forgotten anecdote: Salman Khan appeared in a scene during the song More Piya . The moment is romantic—a barefoot Aishwarya, a thorn, and a gentle gesture. But here's the twist: the scene was performed with no visible faces. Sanjay Leela Bhansali rolled the camera During the filming of More Piya , Salman Khan, despite a recent breakup with Aishwarya, visited the set out of friendship with Bhansali. As Shah Rukh and Aishwarya were preparing for the scene, Salman reportedly stepped forward and enacted the moment himself, guiding the actors. In a spontaneous decision, Bhansali let the camera roll as Salman delicately enacted Dev removing a thorn from Paro's foot. Though only hands and feet are shown, the final cut of the film features this emotionally nuanced shot—an intimate moment captured between two former lovers, without showing their faces. This became the last time Salman and Aishwarya shared screen space. Their relationship had ended by the time Devdas was being shot. Still, Salman's presence on set and this quiet contribution speak volumes about the emotional layers behind the camera. For Bhansali, perhaps it was cinema above all. For viewers, it remains an untold chapter—until now.

Karan Johar recalls how troll saying ‘you've denied your kids a mother' made him cry: ‘I asked my five-year-olds if they're happy'

Karan Johar became a single parent in 2017 via surrogacy at the age of 44. He named his kids Yash and Roohi Johar, the son named after his late father, film producer Yash Johar, who died of cancer in 2004. Karan, who's no longer on the microblogging website X, recalls the one comment about his kids that deeply affected him. 'There was a comment once, and there have been several post that, which was really tough because it made me think. It said, 'Do you realize you've denied your children a mother?' That broke my heart. That made me question my decision of being a single parent for the first time,' said Karan. In the interview to Mojo Story, he explained how he always sugarcoated his responses whenever his kids asked him where they came from since they don't have a mother. 'The very morning I read that comment, I just broke down, sitting in my room. Then I went into their room. They were five years old at that time. I looked at them, and it was a silly question to ask five-year-olds, but I said, 'Are you happy?,'' recalled Karan. When they said yes, and Karan asked them why, they replied, 'Because you're our dada (father).' 'In a sense, that answered my question. I was like, bring it on! Say what you want, I'm very proud to be their single parent. It's very daunting, and also hilarious when you're on two WhatsApp groups with 30 mothers on one and 32 on another,' said Karan, his signature sense of humour intact. 'Whenever I go to any parent-teacher meeting, I'm always doing two (as a father and a mother) for both of them. That's the joy of having twins. But the double whammy for me has been that I've been an only child and a single parent. So I don't have a partner or a sibling. But I have so much support from my friends. My found family has been exceptional. They've been there for me, with me, by me through tough times and happy times. I'm just so blessed I've been able to create this found family,' added Karan. Karan revealed that he's always had very strong paternal and maternal instincts even as a mentor at Dharma Productions. 'I was always like a father to my two cousins Priyanka and Anushka. Then when I launched Alia (Bhatt), I felt very paternal towards her. Right through the journey, I looked over her like I'd do if I had a child,' said Johar. He claimed that he took the surrogacy route quite late because he was waiting to fall in love. 'If love happens, it does or it doesn't. You can't just keep waiting for something that never happens or can happen in the way you imagined it to. So I thought now I have to just stop waiting. If it comes my way, it will. But what I do want to be is a parent,' added Johar.
