Hari Hara Veera Mallu box office Day 2: Pawan Kalyan's film sees a huge dip

Following a strong opening on Day 1, Pawan Kalyan's highly awaited historical drama 'Hari Hara Veera' saw a noticeable drop in box office earnings on its second per Sacnilk, despite the film's massive scale and pre-release buzz, early estimates place its Day 2 earnings at Rs 8 crore (India net), taking its total two-day collection to Rs 55.50 to the trade website, 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' earned Rs 12.7 crore net in India from its premiere and Rs 31.5 crore on its opening day, marking one of Pawan Kalyan's biggest openings. For comparison, his recent releases 'Bro' earned Rs 30.5 crore on day one, 'Bheemla Nayak' made Rs 37.15 crore, and 'Vakeel Saab' collected Rs 40.10 crore net. Compared to other major releases this year, 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' couldn't match the record set by Pawan Kalyan's nephew Ram Charan's 'Game Changer', which earned Rs 51 crore on its opening a look at the trailer here: On its second day, the Telugu-language film registered an overall occupancy of 24.42 per cent, starting at 17.75 per cent for morning shows, rising to 20.17 per cent in the afternoon, 27.21 per cent in the evening, and peaking at 32.53 per cent during the night screenings. Mahbubnagar led with the highest occupancy at 45.25 per cent, followed by Warangal at 31.50 per cent and Hyderabad at 28.75 per in the 1650s, the story follows Veera Mallu (Pawan Kalyan), a Robin Hood-like outlaw drawn into a web of politics, resistance, and legend. Initially recruited by the King of Kollur, Veera escapes with Panchami (Nidhhi Agerwal) and impresses Qutub Shah (Dalip Tahil), who entrusts him with a greater task: steal the Koh-i-Noor from Mughal emperor Aurangzeb (Bobby Deol). But this isn't just about the diamond. Beneath the mission lies a personal journey, marked by buried secrets and emotional review of the film reads, ''Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1' is a film full of ideas, ambition, and star power, but its execution doesn't quite rise to match them. It sets the stage, offers glimpses of what could be an epic, but stumbles too often to leave a lasting impact. What it needed was tighter writing, better tonal control, and sharper visual storytelling.'- EndsMust Watch

'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' box-office update: Pawan Kalyan's comeback witnesses a sharp decline on day 2

Pawan Kalyan's latest cinematic venture kicked off with remarkable numbers on its opening day, marking one of the strongest debuts in his film career. However, the momentum quickly fizzled, as audience interest waned on the second day. This resulted in a considerable slump in ticket sales. Despite the sharp drop, the film still managed to surpass ₹50 crore in total collections within two days. According to box office analytics firm Sacnilk, the film opened with a substantial Rs 34.75 crore on day one. However, both critical reviews and general audience feedback were underwhelming, which likely contributed to the movie's sudden decline in performance. Day two saw a stark contrast in revenue, with the film earning just Rs 8.79 crore, a significant fall from its opening day. Nevertheless, the overall tally has reached Rs 55.27 crore, keeping hopes afloat for a possible rebound.
