Thirty-three Jordanian companies specialized in food manufacturing have begun their participation in the Saudi Food Manufacturing 2025 exhibition, which kicked off yesterday, Monday, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. اضافة اعلان The event will continue over three days. The Jordanian participation in the exhibition is organized by the Jordan Exporters Association, while the third edition of this international event features more than 1,300 exhibitors from 100 countries, including Jordan. Senator Ahmad Al-Khudari, President of the Jordan Exporters Association, confirmed in a statement on Tuesday that the participation of Jordanian companies in the exhibition aims to diversify and increase national exports, in addition to keeping up with the latest developments, technologies, and innovations in the food manufacturing industry. Al-Khudari explained that this participation comes within the association's efforts to enable Jordanian companies to promote their products and open new markets abroad, especially in light of the significant international presence the exhibition is witnessing this year. He pointed out that the Saudi market is one of the key target markets for Jordanian industrial exports due to the strong brotherly relations between the two countries and the geographic proximity. He noted that Jordanian industry has seen remarkable development in recent years in terms of quality and competitiveness, as reflected in the presence of Jordanian products in over 150 markets worldwide. Senator Al-Khudari stressed the importance of growing industrial exports in stimulating the national economy, raising growth rates, creating new job opportunities, attracting investments to the industrial sector, and enhancing the Kingdom's foreign currency reserves. For his part, the Director General of the Jordan Exporters Association, Haleem Abu Rahmeh, said that participation in the exhibition comes within the framework of the solid historical and brotherly relations between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He emphasized the importance of the Saudi market as a strategic and key destination for Jordanian products, particularly in the food and agricultural sectors. He added that the Saudi market is among the most promising in the region, experiencing rapid growth in demand for high-quality products. This opens wide opportunities for Jordanian exports, which are known for their diversity and compliance with Gulf and international standards—especially in dates, vegetables, fruits, and various manufactured food products. Abu Rahmeh emphasized the need to strengthen economic and trade relations between the two countries by expanding trade channels, encouraging joint investments, and establishing effective partnerships between the private and public sectors in both countries. He highlighted the importance of this exhibition as a strategic platform for consolidating cooperation between Jordanian and Saudi food companies, which contributes to supporting regional supply chains, achieving food security, and creating sustainable job opportunities. Abu Rahmeh said the association aims, through this participation, to solidify Jordan's position as a trusted and distinguished source of food products in both the Saudi and Gulf markets. It also seeks to strengthen economic cooperation in a way that serves mutual interests and reflects the depth of bilateral relations between the two brotherly nations.
He pointed to the collaborative and coordinated relationship between the Jordan Exporters Association and the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry to support the industrial export sector and promote its products by boosting their presence in international specialized exhibitions and opening up vital and important markets for Jordanian companies. He noted that the Jordanian pavilion spans an area of 510 square meters.
