2 New Drops From CDG x Vans & Adidas Walk The Talk & The Walk!
This week, we highlight an amazing collaboration; and kicks so lovely, you won't let them touch the ground.
CDG x Vans Authentic
Vans and COMME des GARïONS collaborate once more to reissue the Vans Authentic, the brand's iconic low-top, lace-up silhouette.
This re-release maintains the bold CDG branding and graphic overlays on a clean white upper, staying faithful to the original 2018 design. The noticeable CDG patch, which gives the shoe its distinctive identity, is a noteworthy detail.
The redesigned insole, which now sports the Vans 'OTW' logo branding, is one significant update in this edition.
It is a subtle yet noticeable departure from the original pair. The shoe offers everyday wearability with a sophisticated edge while retaining its high-end, luxurious appearance.
The CDG x Vans Authentic will be available later this month and only through CDG's website and store.
adidas Samba 'Real Madrid'
A special edition of adidas's renowned Samba sneaker has been released in honour of Real Madrid, one of the most illustrious football teams in history.
This release is a component of a larger 'Club-Themed Samba Pack' for the 2025–2026 season, which coincides with the FIFA Club World Cup and the introduction of new club uniforms.
The adidas Samba OG 'Real Madrid' is a multipurpose lifestyle sneaker that prioritises sophisticated style over ostentatious fandom.
The base is a crisp Cloud White leather upper. Real Madrid's illustrious reputation and countless triumphs are symbolised by the Light Solid Grey Three Stripes and heel details, as well as delicate gold accents.
The tongue proudly displays the Real Madrid crest in full colour. It keeps the well-liked Samba silhouette, which is distinguished by its classic gum rubber outsole for superior stability and grip, soft leather upper, and suede T-toe overlay.
The gold 'SAMBA' text on the side adds a bit of vintage branding.
The adidas Samba 'Real Madrid' is in stores now for US$110 (~RM467) and can be purchased through adidas's official website.

La Liga snubs Real Madrid's Club World Cup excuse, opener against Osasuna stays
MADRID, Aug 1 — Real Madrid will begin their La Liga campaign with a home game against Osasuna as scheduled after Spain's federation (RFEF) rejected their appeal to postpone the August 19 fixture on Thursday, local media reported. Real had requested a longer rest period and pre-season after playing in the Club World Cup in the US, where they lost to Paris St Germain in the semi-finals on July 9, according to the report. Reuters has contacted the RFEF and Real for comment. An RFEF judge ruled that in order to preserve the integrity of the competition only a case of force majeure would warrant a change to the official calendar, and that Real's case did not justify an alteration, Europa Press news agency reported. 'Finally, it should be added that although the requesting club claims to have the agreement of the opposing party, CA Osasuna, there is no record of this entity having responded to the request made by this judge,' the sole judge was quoted as saying in his ruling by the Europa Press. — Reuters

He scored 44 goals in all competitions in the 2024-25 season, though failed to lift a major trophy. Among the other elite players to wear the number 10 shirt for Real Madrid is Gheorghe Hagi, Michael Laudrop, Robinho and Mesut Ozil.--REUTERS
