Armed Forces carry out joint military operation with 11 missiles, drone
[Mon, 07 Jul 2025 11:50:35 +0300] Sana'a - Saba: Our air defense succeeded in confronting the Zionist aggression against our country and thwarting its plan to target a number of Yemeni cities. This was achieved by forcing a number of combat formations participating in the aggression to leave the airspace, preventing them from launching raids. The counter-attack was carried out with a number of locally manufactured surface-to-air missiles. In retaliation to this aggression, and in continuation of triumphing for the oppressed Palestinian people, the missile and UAV forces carried out a joint military operation using eleven missiles and drones, distributed as follows: Targeting Lod Airport with a "Palestine 2" hypersonic ballistic missile. Targeting the Ashdod Port with a hypersonic ballistic missile. Targeting the power station in the occupied Ashkelon area using a hypersonic ballistic missile. Targeting the Umm al-Rashrash Port using eight drones. The Yemeni Armed Forces confirm that the missiles and drones have successfully reached their targets, and that the interceptor systems failed to intercept them. The Yemeni Armed Forces affirm that the Yemen of those who trust in Allah and rely on Allah submits and kneels only to Allah. The criminal enemy will realize that the aggression against beloved Yemen will cost it dearly and will only push the Yemenis toward greater steadfastness and perseverance, and to more supportive operations for the oppressed Palestinian people. Yemen, with its loyal people, faithful leadership, and struggling army, is fully prepared to thwart all enemy military plans. We are fully prepared for a sustained and prolonged confrontation, to confront hostile warplanes, and to counter attempts to break the naval blockade imposed by our armed forces on the enemy, in triumphing for our people in Gaza. With Allah' help, we will continue to fulfill our religious, moral, and humanitarian duty by supporting the oppressed Palestinian people in the proud and dignified Gaza Strip until the aggression against them stops and the blockade is lifted. He said, "Our air defenses are ready and prepared to confront the Israeli attacks on our country with all strength and power, God willing." He added, "We assure our people and the free people of our nation that our armed forces are at high readiness and capable, with God's help, of confronting the aggressors. These attacks will not affect them or their military capabilities, and that support operations for Gaza and Palestine will continue at a rapid pace. We will defend our country and our nation with all our strength, God willing." Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (Local)

Israel Launches "Black Flag" Airstrikes on Houthi Targets in Yemen
Aden — Israel launched a series of precision airstrikes early Monday morning targeting Houthi-controlled sites in Yemen. The operation, dubbed "Black Flag", was initiated in response to repeated missile and drone attacks originating from Yemeni territory toward Israeli cities. Scope of the Operation The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that over 50 missiles and guided bombs were deployed against strategic Houthi positions, including ports in Al-Hudaydah, Ras Isa, and Al-Salif, as well as the Ras Kathib power station. Among the targets was the previously seized vessel "Galaxy Leader", allegedly repurposed by the Houthis for military surveillance. Official Statements Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant described the campaign as "a necessary deterrent" aimed at curbing Iran-backed aggression and safeguarding regional maritime routes. 'Those who target Israeli sovereignty will face swift consequences,' Gallant stated. This marks the first direct Israeli strike inside Yemen in recent years and raises concerns about a broader regional confrontation. The United Nations has called for restraint, urging all parties to avoid further escalation.
