Ant and Dec reveal surprise new careers as they become co-owners of business
As if Ant and Dec didn't have enough dough already... they have now become bakery bosses. The TV presenting duo have teamed up with small business owners Amy and Chris Cheadle who specialise in frozen bakery products.
The pair are now shareholders in their company The Northern Dough Co. The money-spinning deal will even see the two of them 'create and develop new products' for the company, as well as publicise them.
Ant and Dec approached The Northern Dough Co. because they wanted to support a small business from the North that was at an early stage in its journey. They are fronting a new advertising campaign for the Lancashire company called Taste Mates, where the pair cook a wide variety of dishes.
To launch the new tie-up, Ant and Dec filmed a tongue-in-cheek video in their boxer shorts. Ant says: 'I love making pizzas at home with my family and was already using Northern Dough Co when we started conversations with Amy & Chris about working with them.

'As soon as we met it was clear we had the same values and together we have some great ideas on how we can expand the business, it's very exciting and we can't wait to get started in our role as co-owners!'
Dec adds: 'We love the Northern Dough Co ethos of celebrating the joy of eating at home and bringing people together. Whether it's a pizza party with mates or a Saturday night in front of the telly with your granny, everyone can get stuck in and make delicious pizzas. We are excited to celebrate all things dough through our partnership and social content.'

It was revealed by racing commentator Matt Chapman on ITV4 on Thursday night that she is receiving medical treatment as he sent well wishes. Sandra suffered from ill health and struggled to breathe following a Covid battle in 2022. You start to think about all kinds of sinister things. "It's been a real worry. Sandra has suffered. Her voice had packed up and she was struggling for breath. Even swallowing food became difficult. She could choke on food easily if we weren't careful." Santa added: 'You don't realise what your vocal cords do until they're not working, because it affects breathing as well as talking. The shortness of breath was very difficult. My voice would vibrate and was very weak." Former football manager Harry revealed in 2023 he had no plans to retire from the spotlight, and credited Sandra for the decision. Asked if he was taking a step back, he said: "Not a chance. I can't. I find it hard to say no to things – it drives Sandra mad. Recently, I've done Harry's Heroes for ITV managed in Soccer Aid and last year Jamie and I filmed Jamie and Harry's World Cup Challenge [for Sky Max]. What a laugh that was." Sandra, who previously suffered from ovarian cancer and had a battle with sepsis in 2018 which nearly saw Harry pull out of his planned I'm A Celeb stint, which he'd go on to win. He previously said: "I was terrified I was going to lose her and I nearly didn't get on the plane. But she wasn't having it – she wanted me to go.
