"With their case going nowhere, they turn reluctantly to Cora Felton, a recent arrival, whose fame as a newspaper puzzle writer suggests she can help DCI Hooper and the local police unravel the clue and solve the case."
Discussing the show with the Radio Times, Logan described it as "a bit like Murder She Wrote meets Miss Marple on steroids".
Speaking of her character specifically, she said: "She's so refreshing. Cora is her own woman and that's what makes her intriguing – she wants a Bloody Mary for breakfast, so she has one, why not?!
"Her niece despairs of her, and it's true that Cora does some things I shouldn't really laugh about, she's not PC at all, but she's a character that I absolutely believe.
"Of course, she has a big secret too, which will be quite dangerous if it comes out…"

Sue Radford stops daughter Katie from visiting home with young son as she admits 'struggles'

Sue Radford was seen giving her daughter Katie some "tough love" in the latest episode of 22 Kids and Counting Sue Radford prevented her daughter Katie from popping round to their family home with her little lad in the latest instalment of their reality programme as part of her "tough love" approach. ‌ The Radford family first found fame when they appeared in their own Channel 5 show 22 Kids & Counting where they document the life of their large and ever-growing family. ‌ During the most recent episode, viewers saw new mum Katie struggle with motherhood as she relocated from an 11-bedroom family mansion where she resided alongside her numerous brothers and sisters, to a cramped flat. ‌ She gave birth to her first baby Ronnie with her partner of six years Connor Carter last October, though things haven't been entirely plain sailing for the 22-year-old. During the programme, she revealed her battles with night-time feeding sessions every two hours alongside feeling "isolated" and regretting her decision to move out, reports the Mirror. ‌ Shortly after welcoming her son Ronnie Hudson Carter into the world, the pair relocated to a compact flat situated just two hours away from the family residence. Katie has been struggling particularly since her partner Connor returned to his job. Discussing the circumstances, she explained: "A baby takes up a lot of room, there just wouldn't have been room in my mum and dad's house for us all. ‌ "Last night, he woke up every two hours... I don't think anything prepares you for having your own, I didn't expect this to be me. Connor went back to work today and it is harder, you've got to do everything yourself. "It is a lot harder living on your own. At home you've got your parents and your siblings to help, whereas when you're at your own place you've got to do it on your own. I wasn't prepared for any of that - the loneliness." ‌ Katie revealed she particularly yearns for her mum and dad and confessed it feels as though she's completely alone. Later in the programme, Katie admits she longs for the hectic atmosphere of living at home surrounded by her numerous brothers and sisters. The mum-of-one had been popping back to the family house almost daily, but mum Sue felt compelled to dish out some "tough love". She explained: "She was coming round every single day, 8:30am and then not going back until 6pm - I think she was missing everybody." She continued: "Katie coming round to the house every day is not really gonna help her settle into being in the flat on her own. Trying to help her, there's got to be a bit of tough love there." One scene captures Katie strolling with Ronnie as she remarks: "My mum's text - said I can't come round very strange." She reveals: "Memories like Ronnie's first smile or his first giggle, I'd like to share the moments with all my family, they're missing out on that. Some days I do regret moving from home." Amanda Owen has fans sobbing after sharing emotional update with beloved dog

Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen left fans feeling emotional after she shared some adorable photos of her and her children out in the Yorkshire Dales, with her beloved dog Amanda Owen had supporters reaching for the tissues after posting a touching message on social media. ‌ The Yorkshire Shepherdess became a household name alongside her family, including former spouse Clive - from whom she separated in 2022 - and son Rueben, through the Channel 5 programme Our Yorkshire Farm which launched in 2018. ‌ The programme brought viewers into the world of the Owen household, documenting the family's life on their vast 2000-acre property, Ravenseat Farm. ‌ ‌ The programme follows Amanda and her brood as they face the demanding task of renovating their fresh dilapidated farmhouse, reports the Express. Yet on Saturday (August 2) Amanda had supporters feeling rather sentimental following a touching social media update. Using her Instagram platform, Amanda posted some sweet photographs of herself and her youngsters exploring the Yorkshire Dales, accompanied by her cherished dog herding sheep. ‌ She wrote alongside the images with news about her latest television programme: "Whilst on the subject of gathering up, clipping, and turning away sheep. It is now time to chase ewe too. To Our Farm Next Door on channel 4 at 6.10pm tonight Saturday)." However, it was a particular image of Amanda with her dog that sparked considerable discussion. ‌ Flocking to the comments area, admirers couldn't hold back their feelings as they highlighted how the dog gazes at Amanda with "so much love". One individual commented: "How the dog looks at you we can see there is so much love." Another concurred: "Your gorgeous collie looks at you with so much love." A third added their voice: "What a good dog." ‌ This follows Amanda's devastating news from her farm last week, where she found that two of the pens had been vandalised. Alongside the video, Amanda wrote: "Cross, cross, cross. This is not the normal kind of post I do. Not the kind of post that I want to do. "I know that it will not make any difference whatsoever, but still I hope that someone, somewhere might feel a little uncomfortable or even ashamed. "These places are invaluable, a part of our history and heritage, they do not formally belong to anyone but have been used by for centuries by shepherds, farmers and commoners. They are still in use to this day."
