Brits records career-bests in ICC Women's T20I and ODI Rankings
The 34-year-old has attained a career-best-equalling sixth position in the ICC Women's T20I Batting Rankings and a career-best 21st position in the ICC Women's ODI Batting Rankings after the latest weekly update.
Brits finished with 132 runs in the three-match T20I series, which included a match-winning 98 not out off 63 balls in the first match, to gain two spots. She had reached sixth position for the first time in January last year and held on to the spot for most of the period till November.
Brits has also moved up six positions in the ODI Rankings after a match-winning 101 in the last match of a preceding three-ODI series against the West Indies to help win it 2-1.
The T20I Rankings also saw Brits's team-mate Annerie Dercksen move up in the batting rankings, to 79th from 87th, while left-arm spinner Nonkululeko Mlaba has progressed six spots to joint-eighth position in the bowling rankings after finishing with three wickets in the series.
For the West Indies, captain Haley Matthews has attained a career-best 770 rating points to reduce the gap with Beth Mooney (794) by five points at the top of the T20I Batting Rankings. Matthews was named the Player of the Series after she scored 147 runs and got two wickets in the three matches.
Chinelle Henry (up three places to 86th) is another West Indies player to gain in the T20I Batting Rankings while leg-spinner Afy Fletcher has moved up three places to 12th with five wickets in the series.
In the ODI Bowling Rankings, South Africa players Marizanne Kappe (up two places to seventh), Mlaba (up three places to 20th) and Masabata Klaas (up six places to joint-37th) have made notable gains while the West Indies off-spinner Karishma Ramharack has moved up one slot to 25th position.

India opener Shafali Verma's half-century in the fifth and final T20I against England sees her return to the top 10 of the ICC Women's T20I Batting Rankings. Charlie Dean's three for 23 in the same match made her the biggest mover in the bowlers' list this week, to joint-sixth place alongside Pakistan's Nashra Sandhu and Australia's Georgia Wareham. Left-arm spinner Sophie Ecclestone hopped one place to fourth, which triggered a one-slot rise for Australia's Annabel Sutherland to second place. India's Radha Yadav also made gains in the top 20, shifting three slots to 15th. Her teammate Arundhati Reddy's consistency and two wickets in the last match rewarded her with a four-slot jump to 39th, just one behind England's Linsey Smith, who leaped nine places to 38th. Headingley display helps Duckett attain career-best Test ranking
England opener Ben Duckett has reached a career-best eighth position in the ICC Men's Test Batting Rankings after his outstanding performance in the opening match of the ICC World Test Championship series against India at Headingley in Leeds. The 30-year-old left-hander scored 62 runs in the first innings and 149 in the second, contributing significantly to England's victory by five wickets on the final day. His impressive performance earned him the Player of the Match award and propelled him five spots higher in the latest weekly rankings update, which saw several batters making notable gains. Ollie Pope, who scored a century in the first innings, has moved up three places to 19th position while Jamie Smith is at a career-best 27th position, his scores of 40 and 44 lifting him eight places. ICC Men's T20I Player Rankings: The ICC Men's T20I Rankings see Michael Levitt of the Netherlands attain a career-best 14th position, thanks to scores of 90 against Scotland and 86 against Nepal, in a tri-series in Scotland. Scotland players George Munsey (up two places to 23rd) and Brandon McMullen (up 20 places to 38th) have also moved up the batting rankings while Mark Watt of Scotland (up two places to 38th) and Lalit Rajbanshi of Nepal (up 29 places to 54th) have progressed among bowlers.
