‘Gurram Paapireddy' teaser launched grandly
The teaser was launched today at a grand event in Hyderabad, attended by comedy legend Brahmanandam, South Indian comedy superstar Yogi Babu, and the rest of the movie team.
At the event, Producer Jayakanth said, "Thank you to everyone who came for the teaser launch of 'Gurram Paapireddy'. This is a unique dark comedy film in Telugu. It's going to be a joyride throughout. Murali and I started this project, and though the budget increased, Venu and Amar stepped up and supported us completely. Without Sandhya Garu, this film wouldn't have been possible. We're fortunate to have a great cast including Yogi Babu. We hope audiences make 'Gurram Paapireddy' a super hit."
Producer Amar Bura said, "We come from an IT background but have always been passionate about filmmaking. This film was a dream we wanted to fulfill. The film turned out really well."
Hasya Brahma Brahmanandam said, "This film is special to me, especially since it's driven by a group of passionate young people. I play the role of a judge in this movie. Director Murali Manohar has a strong passion for filmmaking and has presented me in a new light. Alongside Prabhas Srinu, Raj Kumar Kasireddy, Jeevan Kumar, and myself, we've tried to bring genuine laughter to audiences. Yogi Babu is a special attraction in this film."

Mahavatar Narsimha Box Office Collection Day 12: Ashwin Kumar's highest-grossing animated Indian film continues to dominate the box office even in the second week. The filmmakers cleverly launched a discounted ticket offer on Tuesday following a significant drop in revenue on second Monday. The offer seemingly helped Mahavatar Narsimha revive some of its earnings on August 5 weekday as it reported 7.48 percent uptick in revenue flow. Reportedly made on a budget of ₹ 15 crore, the Sandalwood film collected ₹ 7.9 crore net at the domestic box office on second Tuesday, Day 12, according to film industry tracker Sacnilk. 'Mahavatar Narsimha' did a business of ₹ 106.20 crore net in India during its 12-day run in theatres. On Monday, Day 11, the movie minted ₹ 7.35 crore net and registered 68.18% drop in earnings after strong performance over the weekend. Moving to theatrical footfall stats, Mahavatar Narsimha registered an overall 29.55% Telugu occupancy on Day 12. At the worldwide box office, it raked in ₹ 121 crore gross during its 11-day run. Film trade analyst Sumit Kadel called Mahavatar Narsimha a revolutionary film for the Indian Animation Industry. In a post on X stated,"#MahavatarNarsimha… crossing the 100 crore mark is a historic moment for the Indian film industry. While many Hollywood animated films do a worldwide business of $1-2 billion , now in India, we can also make grand animated films like Mahavatar Narasimha and release them on a large scale." He added, 'India has a rich history with plenty of content to create. I hope filmmakers will seize this opportunity and make some great animated films. The industry and exhibitors can get an unimaginable benefit.' It is likely that the highest-grossing animated Indian film will release on streaming giant JioHotstar in Hindi, India Times reported citing film trade analyst Rohit Jaiswal's prediction. In a recent interview, producer TG Vishwa Prasad revealed that the team is now eyeing a Sankranthi 2026 release, specifically January 9, 2026. Initially announced for December 5, 2025, the film's release seems to be getting pushed again—this time to tap into the massive festive box office potential. According to the producer as revealed in the interview with Great Andhra website, this change comes after discussions with business stakeholders who believe the Sankranthi season could offer better returns. In the interview, the producer also revealed plans for a sequel to the film. Bollywood buyers want December; post-production still pending Interestingly, Bollywood buyers associated with the film are reportedly insisting on sticking to the original December 5 release. However, TG Vishwa Prasad cited pending patchwork and songs as key reasons for the delay. Adding fuel to the speculation, the birthday poster for lead actress Malavika Mohanan—who makes her Telugu debut with this film—did not include any release date. This has further confirmed industry buzz that the release is no longer happening in 2025. Meanwhile, the makers earlier shared the teaser for 'The Raja Saab' which promises a horror comedy film that comes in line with the Bollywood entertainers like 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa'. Apart from Prabhas, 'The Raja Saab' also features the actors Malavika Mohanan, Niddhi Agerwal, Sanjay Dutt, Riddhi Kumar, Yogi Babu, Kiara Advani and many others in pivotal roles.
