Deverakonda has been erected at the iconic Sudarshan 35mm theater in Hyderabad. Earlier, during the trailer launch of Kingdom, a 40-foot cutout was unveiled in Tirupati.

Vijay Deverakonda makes his debut in the spy genre with 'Kingdom'. He will be seen playing the character of Constable Surya "Suri," whose journey is filled with intense action and drama as he is involved in covert operations and identity concealment.
The trailer of the film shows a bleak, war-torn atmosphere. Everything is out of order, and lawlessness is creeping, which means the rise of a crime syndicate is beginning. Vijay Deverakonda's character, Surya, an undercover agent, lives undercover, a constable by morning and a secret agent by day. Throughout the trailer, a twist comes out that the mastermind behind the syndicate is Surya's brother, played by Satyadev.

'Kingdom' will be a two-part film and also features Bhagyashri Borse, along with Satya Dev, Venkatesh, Ayyappa Sharma, and others in pivotal roles.
The music of the film is composed by the musical maestro Anirudh Ravichander.
'Kingdom' is set to release worldwide on July 31, 2025, with a special early premiere in the United States on July 30. It will be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.

People were scared to do the role opposite Shah Rukh Khan, which I eventually did. I know if I stand in a frame, I will be seen.' Jackie also shares that he is aware about his positioning and that keeps him sane and grounded. 'I know my limitations, like I can't play cricket or anything else, but I am open to learning. I prefer being like water and giving myself all to the director. I don't plot or plan on how to do things. The director is the captain of the ship, he will handle that. I can't do it. I am open though, you play around with me, give me good lines and scenes and it's cool. Use my presence, my sincerity, discipline and respect for others. There is no pretence with me. I will put it as, I don't die in a death sequence,' he says.

Chennai: Oscar winner A R Rahman, who is also the uncle of music director G V Prakash, and ace director Sudha Kongara were among several film celebrities who congratulated music director G V Prakash on having won his second National Award for Vaathi. Soon after the winners of the 71st National Awards were announced on Wednesday, G V Prakash Kumar, who won the National Award for Best Music Direction (Songs) for the Tamil, Telugu bilingual film Vaathi, took to his X timeline to call the honour "a blessing for the second time". G V Prakash had won his first National Award for director Sudha Kongara's 'Soorarai Pottru'. Responding to G V Prakash's statement on X, music director A R Rahman wrote, "Wishing you many more ..Congratulations." G V Prakash, who had worked under A R Rahman for a while before turning music director, responded to Rahman's tweet, saying, "Thanks a lot sir." Interestingly, G V Prakash, had in an interview earlier, disclosed that although he was Rahman's nephew, he would always address him as "sir" with respect as he had worked under him. Director Sudha Kongara too congratulated G V Prakash on his second National Award. Taking to Instagram, she posted a picture of herself with G V Prakash and wrote, "Looooooong due my bestie buddy brother @gvprakash. So so awesome. here's to many many more! To watch Raanjhanaa, a film born out of care, conflict, collaboration, and creative risk, be altered, repackaged, and re-released without my knowledge or consent has been nothing short of devastating. What makes it worse is the complete ease and casualness with which it's been done," a part of his note read. About Raanjhanaa Raanjhanaa (2013) is a romantic drama film directed by Aanand L Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma. The film also stars Abhay Deol. Raanjhanaa released on June 21, 2013, while the Tamil-dubbed version Ambikapathy was released a week later. A standalone sequel, Tere Ishk Mein, is set to release on November 28 this year.
