Taking a jibe at CM Fadnavis, Pawar added, 'What kind of a minister have you succeeded in picking? With such ministers, it is an affront not just your Cabinet but the state of Maharashtra.'
Reacting to the video of her speech, Bordikar, the two-time MLA from Jintur, said, 'I expressed my anger at a function yesterday. At the function, zilla parishad officials were present. This particular gram sevak was not taking the welfare schemes being implemented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to the poor people. He was creating impediments.'
She said women labourers had informed her that the gram sevak was not giving them government funds and telling them to repeatedly go to the sarpanch's house. He had not been assisting them in accessing the benefits of the housing scheme, and they were not receiving the instalment payments, she added.
'I lost cool because the women labourers had complained to me about the harassment from the gram sevak,' said Bordikar, who is the Minister of State for Public Health, Water Supply and Sanitation, Energy, Women and Child Development, and Public Works (Public Undertakings). She is also the Guardian Minister of the Parbhani district.
Hitting back at Pawar and the Opposition, she said, 'The video was edited and what I said before making the statement and after has not been shown.'
A gram sevak is a government official who plays a crucial role in implementing rural development programs and schemes, serving as a link between the government and the villagers.

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday flayed the Congress and the Samajwadi Party (SP) for protecting criminal networks as he specifically referred to the 2008 Malegaon blast case. The CM said the Congress falsely implicated Hindus in the Malegaon blast case as he demanded an apology for what he called their 'anti-India and anti-Sanatan' actions. 'Freedom fighters didn't sacrifice their lives for us to be divided by caste and caught in riots. Sotiganj was the identity of the Congress and the SP; our identity is development,' he said. Yogi further said now Meerut has a new identity in the form of the Meerut expressway, rapid rail and the state's first sports university. On the occasion, the CM dedicated the ₹2,570 crore, 295-hectare integrated township to former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee, emphasising its potential to generate employment, attract industries and include schools, a medical college and consolidated divisional offices. 'This township will redefine Meerut with residential, industrial and commercial zones, offering affordable housing for NCR residents and connectivity via the rapid rail corridor,' he said. Yogi also highlighted plans to enhance tourism at Bhola Ki Jhaal, a water body in Meerut, and redevelop the Circuit House. The CM praised PM Narendra Modi's vision for promoting indigenous goods, urging citizens to avoid foreign products that could fund terrorism. 'Your money should not end up in the hands of terrorists. This is new India and new Uttar Pradesh — no place for mafia or crime,' he said. Yogi also announced progress on India's largest expressway from Meerut to Prayagraj, set to reduce travel time to Lucknow to six hours and revealed plans for a new expressway to Haridwar and approval for Meerut's inner road projects. Targeting the opposition further, he likened those dividing society on caste lines to 'termites' and criticised their hypocrisy. In a fresh instance of trouble between the ruling Mahayuti allies, the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena demanded an apology 'within twelve hours' from BJP MLC Parinay Phuke who mentioned that he was the 'father' of Sena. Phuke made the remarks at a party function held in Bhandara district Monday, where he was speaking about Bhandara District Central Cooperative Bank elections. The Shiv Sena had blamed the BJP leader for its election loss. ' Whenever every student does well the credit goes to his mother or him. But then things don't blame it pushed on the father… I have come to understand that I am the father of Shiv Sena,' Phuke said in Marathi, referring to the Sena's accusations against him. Responding to the remarks, the Shinde Sena has demanded an apology from Phuke. 'We will not tolerate such irresponsible statements from BJP's Parnay Phuke and he should apologise within twelve hours. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday lashed out at past governments in the state, alleging that they 'indulged in caste-based politics and appeasement, dividing society along caste lines while 'limiting the benefits of government schemes to one influential family.' Adityanath was addressing a gathering in Saharanpur after inaugurating 15 development projects worth Rs 381 crore. Criticising the Congress and the Samajwadi Party (SP), Adityanath accused them of 'patronising terrorists and attempting to undermine Sanatan Dharma'. He referred to the Malegaon blast case and the demolition of Ram Setu and alleged that earlier governments tried to tarnish the reputation of Hindu leaders and India's cultural heritage. The CM remarked that the 'double engine government' is 'not a buffalo cart but a bullet train.' He emphasised Saharanpur's spiritual roots, identifying it as the 'sacred land of Maa Shakumbhari and Mata Tripuri Bala Sundari.' He announced that the construction of Maa Shakumbhari University has been completed and its official inauguration would take place soon. He also shared plans for the Maa Shakumbhari Corridor and an elevated road to improve all-weather access to the pilgrimage site. The CM also spoke about the beautification of the ashram of Jahar Veer Goga, a warrior saint who resisted foreign invaders 900 years ago and attained samadhi here after meeting Baba Gorakhnath. He noted that the ashram has now been transformed into a cultural site. Adityanath said that his government is committed to ensuring a balance between development and the preservation of cultural heritage. He announced that under the Smart City Mission, all municipal bodies at district headquarters across the state will be developed as smart cities. He said that the travel time between Saharanpur and Delhi has now been reduced to just three hours. The Chief Minister announced that women will be able to travel free of cost on buses on August 8, 9 and 10 as part of Raksha Bandhan celebrations. The Chief Minister called upon the public to organise Tiranga Yatras and collectively sing the National Anthem on August 15, in honour of Independence Day. Adityanath handed over certificates of appreciation, demo cheques, as well as keys to houses and tractors to beneficiaries of several government schemes.
