It all started when Syrian government forces were dispatched to Sweida on Monday, July 14, to halt fighting between Druze fighters and Bedouin men, and restore peace, but they ended up clashing with the Druze militias, according to France 24. No official casualty figures have been released since Monday, but the Syrian Interior Ministry revealed that at least 30 people were killed in Sweida clashes.
