Fracking wastewater spills from tanker truck after crash in Sullivan Twp
SULLIVAN TWP., Pa. (WETM) — A tanker truck carrying fracking wastewater rolled 100 feet down an embankment in Tioga County, Pennsylvania, on Monday, spilling about 2,000 gallons of flowback water into a nearby stream, according to a release from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).
The crash happened in the early morning on Monday, May 12, near 332 Connelly Mountain Road in the Sullivan Township area, Josh Clark from the Mansfield Hose Company explained in the release. According to Clark, the truck left the road and flipped onto its side into a small stream.

About half of its load leaked out from the top hatch of the tank, but no fuel was observed after absorbents and pads were placed in and around the stream as a precaution, the release further stated. Clark said the truck was assumed to be coming from a well pad site on Mountain Ridge Road in Mainesburg, PA.
The release stated Moore's trucking company went to the scene with a pump truck to remove the remaining liquid from the overturned tanker, and B&W Towing Company also helped with cleanup. DEP officials remained on-site on Monday to make sure everything was being properly taken care of.

A former employee of Sean 'Diddy' Combs testified on Tuesday, sharing additional details about her employer's plot to kill Scott Mescudi, a.k.a. Kid Cudi. Capricorn Clark, who worked for Combs on and off for more than a decade, told the court she initially helped Cassie Ventura hide her relationship with Kid Cudi from her Combs. However, when Combs discovered his ex's relationship in 2011, he showed up at Clark's house with a gun. Per Variety, Clark described Combs as furious, pacing in a disheveled outfit with his pants split open at the crotch. He was angry that Clark hadn't told him about Ventura's relationship, and declared 'I should kill you bitches' for keeping Kid Cudi a secret (via NBC News). He told Clark, 'Get dressed, we're going to go kill this n*****' and forced her to come along as he went to Mescudi's house with a weapon. While Combs and his security guards broke into Mescudi's house, Clark called Ventura to warn her what was happening, as Mescudi testified last week. Clark recalled getting into a car chase with Mescudi (which was not part of his testimony), after which Combs demanded Clark call Ventura to tell her he wasn't going to let Clark go unless Ventura came to see Combs. The music mogul threatened both women to make sure Mescudi didn't name Combs on the police report: 'If you don't convince him of that, I'll kill all you motherfuckers,' Clark remembered him saying (via Variety). When Combs saw Ventura later, he 'repeatedly kicked her,' beating her at 'full force,' Clark testified. Clark witnessed the assault, but didn't intervene because Combs threatened to hurt her as well. She said she called Ventura's mom to tell her her daughter was being assaulted and encouraged her mother to report the incident to the police. Clark herself said she reported the kidnapping and assault to then-president of Bad Boy Records Harve Pierre, who brushed it off. She was fired months later, supposedly for not getting her vacation time authorized properly. 'I lost everything,' she testified, adding that Combs 'said I would never work again and all these people weren't my friends and he would make me kill myself.' In Clark's testimony, she spoke of being close with Combs but also described him as a violent, volatile employer. He threatened to kill her on her first day of work over her association with Suge Knight; once, when she lost some jewelry he entrusted her with, she was made to take a lie detector test for eight hours a day five days in a row. A bumbling baby-faced Bronx gang accidentally killed one of its own in a gunfight with a rival group — and its foes later fired 17 shots at one of them but missed, instead grazing a passer-by in the head, officials said Monday in announcing a takedown of some of the members. A member of the bungling gang that shot the innocent victim even admitted in a drill rap video just how badly the hit was botched — rapping, 'I don't know how we missed them,'' authorities said. Advertisement 'This is a lost generation,' Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark said at a press conference unveiling the sweeping 208-count indictment against 19 members of the warring 9Raq and Thirdside gangs — none older than 23, with the youngest just 16. 3 Bumbling members of two teenage gangs have been indicted for a slew of shootings that have mistakenly wounded three bystanders — and killed one of their own — in the past four years. 'There's an endless flow of young people who believe as though they don't have a stake in tomorrow, so they are creating a reckless disregard on our streets,' said Mayor Eric Adams at the press conference, which was also attended by NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch. 'And when a bullet leaves the pathway of a gun, it often hits an unintended target,' said Adams, a former cop. That age went from 16 to 17 in 2018 and from 17 to 18 in 2019, allowing those under 18 to be turned over to the family court system instead of regular court, where they could face stiffer punishments if convicted. Wyndham Clark apologizes for damaging locker at U.S. Open: 'I made a mistake that I deeply regret' When it comes to Wyndham Clark recently, the talk has been more about his on-course antics rather than the play of the former U.S. Open champion. He opened in 6-under 64 on Thursday at the 2025 Travelers Championship. And while he was asked a couple questions about his play, it didn't take long for the discussion to turn to six days ago, when Clark damaged lockers inside the Oakmont clubhouse after missing the cut. It was his second incident in as many majors this season of causing damage. At the PGA Championship in May, he caused damage to a T-Mobile sign. On Thursday, Clark apologized for what happened at the U.S. Open. "I've had a lot of highs and lows in my career, especially this year some lows. I made a mistake that I deeply regret. I'm very sorry for what happened," Clark said. "But I'd also like to move on, not only for myself but for Oakmont, for the USGA, and kind of focus on the rest of this year and things that come up. I still want to try to make the Ryder Cup team. I still am on the outside looking in for the FedExCup. So I'm starting to move on and focus on those things." Clark birdied four of his final six holes Thursday, and he sits two shots behind Austin Eckroat after the early wave at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut. As for the locker room incident, he's hoping to quickly put it in the rearview mirror.
