Cedric Alexander is betrayed in TNA swerve
Alexander was called in by Tasha Steelz to talk sense to the increasingly unhinged Mustafa Ali. That led to TNA booking a WrestleMania rematch for Slammiversary. Alexander had a taste of action on Thursday night Impact (July 10, 2025). Too bad for him that it ended with a low blow from behind.
Alexander was joined by the Great Hands with Tasha Steelz ringside for six-man tag team action. Their opponents were Ali's secret service bodyguards, which were basically nameless local talent. Alexander earned the win via Lumbar Check backbreaker.
The real drama came after the match. Ali tried to sneak attack Alexander with a chair. When Alexander juked to counter for the Lumbar Check, Steelz shocked the Impact Zone by saving Ali with a low blow to Alexander. Steelz walked out with Ali trailing behind.
Outside, Steelz went boss lady on Ali and the boys. The dynamic of power shifted to Steelz in charge as Order 4 obeyed. Steelz explained that she is sick of Ali's leadership that has led nowhere. She called Alexander as a ploy to play them all. Steelz knew that Alexander would come in to save her. She doesn't need saving. When Ali felt lied to, Steelz mentioned how her plan got him a marquee match on Slammiversary. It's time for the Order 4 to get back on the same page and become the greatest faction in TNA history. The System overheard that conversation and stepped to Order 4 with a challenge for next week. Steelz accepted without hesitation.
Wow. I did not see this swerve coming so soon. Steelz flipped the switch to become the leader of Order 4 now. Technically, Ali is still in charge, but it will be interesting to see how this business relationship evolves with Steelz pulling the strings.

Brie Bella Reveals The ‘Roadblock' In The Way Of Her WWE Return
Brie Bella says there might be something — or someone, rather — getting in the way of her possible return to WWE. Nikki Bella made her WWE in-ring return earlier this year, and she's made subsequent appearances at WWE Evolution and on RAW. When the Bellas do press for their respective projects, one or both are usually asked when Brie will be coming back. Brie Bella has addressed this on a few occasions, claiming that she was just waiting for the phone call from WWE. However, Brie now shared that this particular comment was designed to keep interviews moving. During a new solo-hosting episode of the Nikki & Brie show, Brie was talking about the various 'roadblocks' in her life. 'There's been what I can consider a roadblock, but it's also a good sign. And that's where I make a joke because I've been on red carpets or in interviews. There's one question that I constantly get asked. And it is, 'When will we see you back in the ring?' As if I have that power. And I always make a joke because when I'm in interviews. I don't want to ever answer something serious because usually it's a quick question and they need a quick answer. So I have constantly made the joke, 'Oh, waiting on the call.' Which in some ways, can be true. And in some ways, I am just saying something cheeky and sweet so I can get on to the next question. Brie Bella says her husband in AEW is her roadblock with WWE After mentioning why she answers this way, Brie said she believes the roadblock to her in-ring return is the fact that her husband, Bryan Danielson, is employed by AEW. Brie noted that people are entitled to be uncomfortable with the situation, but she sees it as a potential sign. 'But what I wanted to bring up, because I feel like, ok, it's something that's important in these solo episodes, is to open up to all of you [about] what I'm going through so I can help some of you. But when I look at that, I know my roadblock is the fact that my husband is with the rival company,' Brie Bella said. 'For some people, it makes them uncomfortable at WWE, thinking I would be there while my husband is with AEW. 'And you know what? That's ok,' she continued. 'I've looked at that roadblock as people have the right to feel. If people feel uncomfortable, they're uncomfortable, and that's ok. They have that right. Does it bum me out sometimes when I wish their feelings were different? Absolutely. But, it doesn't make me angry and it doesn't make me bitter. It makes me [realize] that that is a sign that I am supposed to be staying in my 'soft girl era.'
