The stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame were announced by HCC President and CEO Steve Nissen and Walk of Famers Eugenio Derbez and Richard Blade on July 2. Among the various names adorning the Walk of Fame is the basketball legend, Shaquille O'Neal.
He is the only honoree to have been inducted into the prestigious Walk in the sports entertainment category.
The NBA legend has a vast presence that extends beyond basketball.
Other notable figures included in the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2026 are Sarah Michelle Gellar, Rami Malek, Bradley Whitford, Noah Wyle, Keith David, Molly Ringwald, Rachel McAdams, and Marion Cotillard.
He is known for his pivotal role in the 1996 film Kazaam, where he played the role of a magical entity. In 1997, he appeared in another film, Steel, as a weapons expert.
He also delivered comedic performances in Grown Ups 2 and Uncle Drew. Apart from these, Shaquille has played himself in various films and made guest appearances.
