Denise Richards' husband Aaron Phypers filed for divorce as he claims star 'cheated on him'

Daily Mirror13 hours ago
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Denise Richards was married to Aaron Phypers for six years before he filed for divorce earlier this month
Denise Richards' estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, claimed he caught the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star cheating on him earlier this year. Her alleged infidelity led to him filing for divorce this month after six years of marriage, with the official date of separation being listed as July 4.

His claims come as Wild Things actress Denise was granted a temporary restraining order against her ex. According to US reports, the restraining order will last through August 8, when the pair are due in court. It was said he was ordered to stay 100 yards from Denise, her home, her place of work and vehicle.

In court documents, she claimed that she had suffered physical abuse during their marriage. However, Aaron denies the claims she made against him and claimed she was doing it to 'make him look bad'.
The pair filed for divorce earlier this month after being married for six years. They listed the official date of their separation as July 4, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind their split.
Meanwhile, Phypers is asking the court to grant him spousal support from Denise, 54.

And now, Aaron has claimed he discovered text messages between Denise and another man on her laptop, as well as selfies and affectionate messages - including her wishing the person 'sweet dreams'.
The businessman claimed that other texts were of Denise and the other man planning a hotel meet up. The Mirror have reached out to Denise's reps and lawyer for comment.

In his spousal support documents, Aaron claimed he has no income of his own, and estimates that Denise earns over $250,000 per month, which is around £185,000, from OnlyFans, TV work, brand deals and public appearances.
In the filing, he estimates that they spend $105,000 - around £77,000 - a month on average and that Denise has been covering it. Their monthly spending is said to include $20K on clothes and $15K on eating out, which is around £15,000 and £11,000 respectively.
Aaron has asked to keep their assets and debts as separate property. The request is said to include his power tools, a motorcycle and a sports car.

Following the claims, Aaron has since told TMZ the claims are "not true". He said: "I have all the details. She is creating a story to save her image reporting a conjured up story when I have all the real evidence."

British teen duped into starring in own snuff movie by twisted friend

Twisted murderer Jamie Reynolds harboured twisted sexual fantasies and destroyed the family of an innocent A level student when he carried out his sick dream for real Popular Georgia Williams had many friends including Jamie Reynolds, who was 22 when he betrayed his pal's trust in the worst way possible. ‌ For when the A level student agreed to Reynolds' request, she had no idea he had harboured a fascination for hanging, strangulation and necrophilia since he was a teenager. ‌ By the time the twisted killer ended her life, he had already amassed 16,800 images and 72 videos of sexual violence as well as writing 40 stories about committing fatal attacks on girls, drawing nooses on copies of their Facebook photos. ‌ Reynolds, from Telford in Shropshire, carried out his sick fantasy for real in 2013 after coming up with a ruse to ask Georgia to help realise his dreams of becoming a photographer. The teenager agreed to an "artistic photoshoot" involving a "simulation hanging", with Reynolds falsely assuring her in a message on social media: "You would be standing on a box. I would edit that out on the computer so it would look like you were floating." ‌ Two days later, following a Crimewatch appeal, Georgia's body was found in woodland near Ruthin, in north Wales. It later transpired that Reynolds had written a story called Georgia Williams in Surprise which detailed exactly what he had intended. Police found the last photos of Georgia alive on Reynolds' hard drive, showing her smiling and posing with a red rope around her neck. In the next series of images, she is dead. Reynolds became one of the youngest in British criminal history to be sentenced to a whole life term in prison. And as her family came to terms with the loss of their loved one, they were horrified to learn he had carried out a near-identical attack on a teenager five years before. ‌ Officers had previously been given evidence of his obsession with images of women being hanged but let him off with a warning. Reynolds had gone onto ram a colleague's car after she spurned his advances, with police writing it up as a traffic accident. Georgia's parents went onto fund the The Georgia Williams Trust, which funds sports, music and outdoor adventures for young people. "We still have nightmares," the student's mum Lynnette told The Mirror in 2023. "One of us will wake the other up at night screaming. We help each other through them. I relive the day as soon as I wake up or when I try to sleep. I feel drained most of the time, it's on your mind constantly. It never goes away." The murderer's whole-life sentence means he will die behind bars, with the judge at Stafford Crown Court calling him a "serial killer in the making".

Hollyoaks' Rex actor Jonny Labey reacts to Clare twist and teases soap future

The Mirror spoke exclusively with Hollyoaks' Rex Gallagher actor Jonny Labey and Jacob Omari star Ethaniel Davy about the return of Clare Devine, their emotional storyline and what's ahead We got the lowdown on Hollyoaks villain Clare Devine from two co-stars working closely with actress Gemma Bissix currently on the Channel 4 soap. ‌ Clare made her big return months ago, as part of a dark trafficking storyline involving other characters and some of the teenagers in the village. Clare's sister Grace black and half-brother Rex Gallagher were also caught up in the drama, with us soon learning all about Rex's past and backstory. ‌ Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Rex actor Jonny Labey praised the move to explore what Rex faced when he was younger, and how it shaped him - leading to him taking a criminal path. Jonny discussed how fans finally saw why he was the way he was, calling him "a product of his environment". ‌ He added how Rex's "unexpected" romance with Ste Hay changed things, and gave Rex something to push for. That said, Jonny loves the drama his role brings, and was thrilled to get to work with co-star Gemma as she made her comeback. He wasn't the only one as newcomer Ethaniel Davy, whose character Jacob Omari took centre stage in the sad trafficking plot, also shared how much he loved working with the soap icon. Jonny shared: "Another long-lost sister! It's honestly the best working with Gemma. ‌ "She is such a joy, she brings such a bouncy energy to set. She gets stuck in to storylines, she holds no prisoners, she's just a ruthless and fantastic character. It really brings in that female power character to the show." Ethaniel agreed: "Gemma is so lovely. Clare can be sympathetic as well though. She's not just pure evil, she has a soft side and a bit of a backstory, and she has another side to her. Sometimes she's got the wrong intentions but for the right reasons." Actor Ethaniel was thrilled to rejoin the show recently, having first joined earlier in the year. He told us: "It's definitely a new experience for me. It's lovely, I've enjoyed it. ‌ "It's great and I am very grateful. We've just got to see how the storyline goes!" On the fans backing his character, he went on: "It was lovely because to get the role was a big thing, and then it was brilliant to keep going after a few months of not working. "I got called back, and so getting good feedback was great to hear." He also praised co-star Jonny for "showing him the ropes" and looking after him on set. ‌ As for Jonny, he welcomed the changes to his character as fans have gotten to see a different side to him. He told us: "You have got this thing with Rex where he is a product of his environment and unfortunately, even since doing the storyline, the sex trafficking storyline, it's way more common than people realise. "It seems like such a wild storyline but it's something that affects so many people in the UK, specifically the younger generation. It's that passed-on trauma. I'm glad we've got to see these sides to Rex now. "We can understand where it all comes form because when I first joined it was six months of arguments, fights and him being a villain. It was cool but he's got a nice undertone now. The love interest with Ste has taken him by surprise. ‌ "But it has shown him there is a way out from that life. I think that roundedness now is really beautiful to play. He still doesn't back down easy and he's not a push-around though. It is just a dream role honestly, to play a character like that. I have always wanted to play a troubled character with depth." His comments about Ste, and Rex turning his life around could be a hint at what's ahead with a happy future. But with Rex currently in prison, will he find a way back to the village? 11 movie props sold for eye-watering prices from Titanic to Star Wars

Items from movies including Castaway, Star Wars, The Spy Who Loved Me and ET have gone under the hammer for eye watering amounts of money. The Mirror looks at some of the memorabilia that has gone for megabucks Movie memorabilia is clearly big business, with Citizen Kane's Rosebud sled selling this week for an eye-watering $14.75 million (£11m). ‌ In the 1941 movie starring Orson Welles, and regarded as one of the greatest in film history, Rosebud represented the happy times Kane had playing in the snow as a child and ultimately the idealized past that he yearned for throughout his life. ‌ The buyer is unknown, but the seller was the director Joe Dante, who was given the item in 1984 while working on Explorers on the Paramount lot, previously home to RKO Pictures. Dante, describes the 1941 film prop as 'a testament to the enduring power of storytelling.' ‌ ‌ Rosebud isn't the valuable piece of movie memorabilia ever sold, though. Last year, a pair of ruby slippers from 1939's The Wizard of Oz were snapped up for a cool $32.5m (£24.2m). But why do film artefacts make a mint? Auctioneer Addison Gelpey says: 'The reason movie memorabilia is such a money spinner is twofold. One is that buyers are big fans of the films and are collectors - or they want to make money on them because the movies are watched by so many people that the value will go up over time. These are iconic films, so you have a fabulous investment. It is not only a piece of that film, you have a piece of film history.' ‌ Here are some other film favourites to have gone under the hammer: The Maltese Falcon statuette from The Maltese Falcon (1941) starring Humphrey Bogart sold for $4.1 million (£2.5m) in 2013. ‌ Tom Hanks' best friend Wilson the volleyball from the 2000 desert island film Cast Away sold for $308,000 (£230k) at a 2021 Prop Store auction in London. The 'wet shirt' costume worn by Colin Firth's Mr Darcy in the 1995 TV adaptation of Pride & Prejudice fetched $25,000 (£20k) in 2024. ‌ Darth Vader's fibreglass mask from The Empire Strikes Back sold for $900,000 (£698k) in 2019. Harrison Ford's bullwhip from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) fetched $525,000 (£417k) at auction in 2024. Several years earlier, the famous fedora hat worn by Harrison Ford's Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark was sold for $524,000 (£456k) in 2018 via Prop Store in London. ‌ The white three-piece suit that John Travolta's Tony Manero wears in Saturday Night Fever (1997) sold for $260,000 (£208k) in 2023. ‌ The mechatronic for the movie ET The Extra Terrestrial (1982) sold for $2.56 million (£2m) in 2022. Terminator's liquid-metal T-1000 enemy cyborg - a full-scale T-800 endoskeleton, from Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991) sold for $488,750 (£236k) in 2007. The Lotus Esprit from The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) sold for $997,000 (£610k) in 2013 to none other than the world's richest man Elon Musk. The lifesaving wooden panel from Titanic (1997) which saved Kate Winslet's character Rose's life - while poor Jack ( Leonardo DiCaprio) perished, sold for a $718,750 (£571k) in 2024.
