Odia diaspora in Ghana extends warm welcome to Modi

The community, known for its rich traditions, played a significant role in welcoming the Prime Minister during his two-day stay in the West African nation. Upon his arrival at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra on July 2, Modi was greeted with a grand reception by the Indian diaspora. The atmosphere was alive with chants of "Hare Krishna", melodious mantras, and a spirited chorus of "Jai Ho", reflecting India's cultural unity and diversity. A standout moment of the welcome ceremony was a captivating Bharatanatyam performance by three young girls, including Tapaswinee Panda from Odisha.
