Eisakhil slog swept Nabi's off-spin from around the wicket over deep midwicket for a maximum during his 36-ball 52, which included five fours and two sixes. However, Nabi had the last laugh as he hit the winning runs for Mis Ainak Knights, ending the match with a six off Qais Ahmed.

Eisakhil had top-scored for Amo Sharks, which put on 162 in 19.4 overs after electing to bat. Nabi went for 12 runs in the only over he bowled, and remained unbeaten on six runs off three balls.
The 40-year-old Nabi had announced his decision to retire from One-Day Internationals after the ICC Champions Trophy this year, but later said he was 'still thinking' about his future in the format as he harbours dreams of playing international cricket with his son.
'These might not be my last ODIs, I will probably play less ODIs and give chances to the youngsters to build experience. I've discussed with the senior players and in the high-level games, maybe or maybe not, we'll see. It will depend on my fitness,' Nabi had told the International Cricket Council (ICC).
'It's my dream [to play international cricket with his son]. Hopefully we can do it. He is doing very well … he is a hard worker and I'm also pushing him to do work. I want him to make his own goals, if you want to get to be a high-level cricketer, you have to work hard. It's not enough to make 50 or 60, you have to score 100-plus. He's listening and pushing all the time. When he can talk to me, I try to give him advice to give him confidence for the game,' Nabi had added.
Though Eisakhil is yet to make his international debut, the right-handed batter has played four First-Class matches and 25 T20 games. He also featured in the ICC Under-19 World Cup last year, scoring 43 runs in four matches for Afghanistan.

F1 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve believes Lando Norris Norris, who is eight points behind championship leader and teammate Oscar Piastri, has built a bit of momentum with wins in the last two race
This weekend's Belgian Grand Prix will be the first time in 20 years Red Bull Racing will not be led by Christian Horner, who was sacked two weeks ago following the British Grand Prix. As the team embarks on the post-Horner era, former F1 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve, said the team is set for some tough times ahead, having lost its team boss, who was instrumental in all its success. 'It was very sudden, unexpected, but it's been brewing in the background for quite a while. It is destabilising for the team because Christian ran the factory, so this will have an effect, and it will take a bit of time to rebalance everything,' said Villeneuve. 'It's been a little bit difficult for the team. Adrian Newey (former technical boss) and some other key team members have left. But Christian Horner brought the team to where it is now. So it's very tough on him, this situation, and it's difficult from the outside to understand the reasoning behind the whole situation.' Commenting on this year's championship, the 1997 drivers' champion believes Lando Norris, who is eight points behind championship leader and teammate Oscar Piastri, has built a bit of momentum with wins in the last two races. 'Lando seems to have recovered a bit. He seems to be more emotional than Piastri, but he has a slight edge in speed. So when you take the two into account, it's hard to know which one has the better shot at winning.' 'There's a big difference between being the team leader, the championship leader or being the underdog. Lando seems to be better when he's a little bit behind and has to fight back to come forward. So he is in a good position right now,' said Villeneuve. (FanCode is the official broadcaster for F1 in India).

Abhishek Nayar Appointed As Head Coach Of UP Warriorz In WPL
Nayar will replace John Lewis as the head coach of UP Warriorz. In the past, Nayar has served as assistant coach of the Indian men's cricket team. Former Indian men's cricket team assistant coach Abhishek Nayar on Friday (July 25) has been appointed as the new head coach of Women's Premier League (WPL) team UP Warriorz. The 41-year-old former Indian all-rounder, who was sacked as India's assistant coach in April 2025, will replace Jon Lewis. Lewis served as head coach of UP Warriorz in the first three seasons of WPL but failed to win the title. Nayar, who retired from competitive cricket in 2019, in the past had worked as the lead coach of the Kolkata Knight Riders academy in 2018 and then joined the KKR support staff as assistant coach. Nayar also served as the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) head coach in CPL 2022. 'Bringing Abhishek Nayar on board as head coach feels like a natural and exciting step forward for UP Warriorz," Kshemal Waingankar, COO and director of cricket for UPW, told ESPNcricinfo. 'When someone of Abhishek's calibre became available, it was a no-brainer. Few in Indian cricket bring the same depth of experience when it comes to shaping players and shaping winning cultures. 'In just the past 18 months alone, Abhishek has been part of three championship-winning campaigns, each in a different role, each leaving a lasting impact. We are thrilled to have him lead a Warriorz side that's united, fearless, and hungry to grow. With Abhishek at the helm, we believe this group can do something truly special." Nayar has never coached a women's team in the past, but in August 2023 he oversaw a week-long off-season camp with UP Warriorz in Bengaluru. Nayar's stint as India assistant coach Nayar was added to India's coaching staff by Gautam Gambhir after his appointment as head coach in July 2024. During his time with Men in Blue, Nayar worked closely with Indian batters and earned big praise from the likes of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul. Despite India winning the ICC Champions Trophy title in 2025, Nayar was chopped from India's coaching staff in April 2025, and post that, he joined KKR's coaching staff once again. view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
