Where Sara Foster Stands With Ex-Stepsisters Gigi Hadid & Bella Hadid
Sara Foster, and are the real blended family of Beverly Hills.
In fact, the three former stepsisters remain close nearly a decade after Sara's dad broke up with the models' mom following nine years together.
"I love those girls," Sara told host Andy Cohen on the July 9 episode of Watch What Happens Live. "I just saw Gigi last month."
And while the 44-year-old is "unsure" where David and Yolanda currently stand, she noted that her father—who's been married to since 2019—has no bad blood against Gigi, 30, or Bella, 28.
"He actively raised those girls," Sara explained. "So, there's still a lot of love there."
Sara and her sister Erin Foster blended families with Gigi, Bella and Anwar Hadid—Yolanda's three kids from her previous marriage to real estate developer Mohammed Hadid—when David wed the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum in 2011. He and Yolanda announced their split in 2015, finalizing their divorce two years later.

So, what are Erin's thoughts about her former step-siblings today? "The kids don't get divorced," the Nobody Wants This creator shared during a September appearance on WWHL. "Just the parents do.'
However, it did admittedly take some time for Erin, 42, to adjust to her former stepbrothers Brody Jenner and Brandon Jenner, whose mom Linda Thompson was married to David from 1991 to 2005.
"From the ages of 3 and 5, we were living with our mom," Erin—whose mother Rebecca Dyer was married to David during the '80s—said in a 2019 episode of the Sibling Revelry podcast. "And our dad was living in this $20 million house with Brandon and Brody."
She continued, "It was more like, we're misunderstood out in the world, because we have this fake, spoiled lifestyle, but we're not even really allowed to be a part of it."

"Back to the Future the Musical" brings theater magic to Boston
It's "Back to the Future" like you've never seen it before. The hit 80s movie is now celebrating its 40th anniversary and a musical version is on stage in Boston. On top of the Huey Lewis and the News classics, there are some new songs as well as your favorite lines and costumes, and of course, the DeLorean. Lucas Hallauer and David Josefsberg are the two latest actors to portray Marty McFly and Doc Brown. "It's an iconic movie and these characters are iconic, played by iconic actors," said Hallauer. "So there's a lot to live up to, but it's really fun to hear everyone's reaction and that nostalgia hit them. " Josefsberg said, "Being able to take something that's iconic and finding ways to put myself into it is something that I'll really I've learned from this and will be able to take forward." As Marty's mother, Lorraine, Methuen native Zan Berube knows Boston audiences are in for a fun night at the theater. "The car, the costumes, the sets, the video screen. It's so realistic. It's theater magic to its fullest extent. I remember sitting in the Broadway house and watching the show and being like, how are they doing that? I'm an actor. I've participated backstage. And I've worked one-on-one with crew. And I had no idea," Berube told WBZ-TV. Huge fan base from the beloved movie Hallauer explains, "We kind of started a win, because the characters are already so well loved and everyone wants to root for them." It's not an exact replica of the movie. But Bob Gale, the film's co-writer, wrote the musical as well. "You can't say, 'oh, this is not what their creator would have wanted,' because it is the creator," explained Josefsberg. "I'm grateful to be involved in something with such a big fan base and a big following," Hallauer said. Berube says that the following includes the film's stars. "Lea Thompson, the iconic, original Lorraine Banes. It's big shoes to fill, right? I got to meet her opening night when we were in Los Angeles. She greeted me after the show with the biggest hug and was like, 'You did it. You're doing it. Good job,' And oh my gosh, that was the biggest compliment I could have ever received." Josefsberg said the crowds in Boston are "Smart. They get the jokes, they get the humor, they get everything." Berube agreed, "It's been really fun, not only because it's my home city, but I think the audiences are really engaged and excited that the show is here."

Martin Cruz Smith, bestselling author of "Gorky Park" and other thrillers, dies at 82
Martin Cruz Smith, the bestselling mystery novelist who engaged readers for decades with "Gorky Park" and other thrillers featuring Moscow investigator Arkady Renko, has died at age 82. Smith died Friday at a senior living community in San Rafael, California, "surrounded by those he loved," his publisher, Simon & Schuster, said in a statement. Smith revealed a decade ago that he had Parkinson's disease, and he gave the same condition to his protagonist. His 11th Renko book, "Hotel Ukraine," was published this week and billed as his last. "My longevity is linked to Arkady's," he told Strand Magazine in 2023. "As long as he remains intelligent, humorous, and romantic, so shall I." Smith was often praised for his storytelling and for his insights into modern Russia; he would speak of being interrogated at length by customs officials during his many trips there. The Associated Press called "Hotel Ukraine" a "gem" that "upholds Smith's reputation as a great craftsman of modern detective fiction with his sharply drawn, complex characters and a compelling plot." Smith's honors included being named a "grand master" by the Mystery Writers of America, winning the Hammett Prize for "Havana Bay" and a Gold Dagger award for "Gorky Park." Born Martin William Smith in Reading, Pennsylvania, he studied creative writing at the University of Pennsylvania and started out as a journalist, including a brief stint at the AP and at the Philadelphia Daily News. Success as an author arrived slowly. He had been a published novelist for more than a decade before he broke through in the early 1980s with "Gorky Park." His novel came out when the Soviet Union and the Cold War were still very much alive and centered on Renko's investigation into the murders of three people whose bodies were found in the Moscow park that Smith used for the book's title. "Gorky Park," cited by the New York Times as a reminder of "just how satisfying a smoothly turned thriller can be," topped the Times' fiction bestseller list and was later made into a movie starring William Hurt. "Russia is a character in my Renko stories, always," Smith told Publishers Weekly in 2013. "'Gorky Park' may have been one of the first books to take a backdrop and make it into a character. It took me forever to write because of my need to get things right. You've got to knock down the issue of 'Does this guy know what he's talking about or not?'" Smith's other books include science fiction ("The Indians Won"), the Westerns "North to Dakota" and "Ride to Revenge," and the "Romano Grey" mystery series. Besides "Martin Cruz Smith" — Cruz was his maternal grandmother's name — he also wrote under the pen names "Nick Carter" and "Simon Quinn." Smith's Renko books were inspired in part by his own travels and he would trace the region's history over the past 40 years, whether the Soviet Union's collapse ("Red Square"), the rise of Russian oligarchs ("The Siberian Dilemma"), or, in the novel "Wolves Eats Dogs," the 1986 Chernobyl disaster. By the time he began working on his last novel, Russia had invaded Ukraine. The AP noted in its review of "Hotel Ukraine" that Smith had devised a backstory "pulled straight from recent headlines," referencing such world leaders as Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine,Vladimir Putin of Russia and former President Joe Biden of the U.S. Smith is survived by his brother, Jack Smith; his wife, Emily Smith; three children and five grandchildren.
