It makes sense that Geller would stake his claim at Pitti. This season, the designer cited fashionable mid-century men as an inspiration. 'We were looking at the 1950s and you had all of the poets like Jack Kerouac in America, and in Europe you had the teddy boys and the mods and all of these very stylish youths creating their look,' he said. It's not all that different from the style subcultures you see at Pitti Uomo today—between those who wear three-piece suits and others who go a more casual route with streetwear pieces.
'The double-breasted suit was something I've loved from the beginning and we wanted to push—it's so cool,' Geller explained. 'We've done suiting in the past, but this feels like a new way to do it.' Geller's version comes in a wool linen blend that's just the right amount of casual when paired with a denim shirt, which brings it closer to the reality of the Rag & Bone customer, who may not be prone to wearing a full suit. 'When worn with the jacket open, it feels easy without being too uptight,' he said.

Once upon a time—in those glorious days of Microsoft Messenger (MSN) and MySpace 'Top Friends'—you could reach Eddie (not Edward) Cuming by emailing its_eddie_not_edward@ That address is now a relic of simpler times, but its energy remains and it's all over this Edward Cuming collection, including on a T-shirt on which Cuming had turned his Hotmail into a slogan. To clarify: the designer is Eddie, the label is Edward. If it works for him, it works for us. This collection started, Cuming said, with a necklace he found at a private museum in Ibiza. The wife of the man who built the museum made colorful, funky pieces of jewelry with beads of all colors and sizes to sell in the gift shop. 'They were just so beautiful,' the designer said at his showroom in Paris, 'I could feel the joy she had just piecing stuff together in such a random way, and that's sort of how I work.' Like those necklaces, Cuming's clothes are fascinating explosions of disparate shapes and colors that would feel random were they not so thoughtful. He knows that even the most miscellaneous-looking things, when made by a person, often have a sense of intention. Case in point, one of the first dresses Cuming made for this collection is a fabulous slip with a black velvet-looking nylon skirt and gold lamé bodice trimmed with bright red fabric hanging off gray jersey. Sitting next to his racks at the showroom was an installation Cuming worked on with a friend; she'd tied endless scraps of jersey, sequins, and other fabrics to make one giant, gorgeous knot. 'I really wanted to focus this season,' Cuming explained, 'honing in on a lot of the techniques that have been building over time and elevating them a bit.' To his credit, that didn't mean he was pulling back, just that he was practicing restraint. In the mix were some fantastic little athletic shorts in silk and denim. 'I should send Juergen Teller some of these!' he quipped. And he should; Harry Styles or Paul Mescal, meanwhile, would probably like the fun sequin skirts trimmed with feathers. 'It's more considered now,' he said, of the way in which he's 'pieced stuff' together. Take, for instance, a green silk skirt featuring one of his signature motifs, spiraling lines inserted into each other. Last season's version had shaggy, fringe-like threads hanging all over. It was back for spring with a bit of a trim, the shredding more polished. Moral of the story: Embrace your greatest hits, be it a funky skirt or your childhood email.

DDG jokes about using fertility clinic to avoid drama
DDG has claimed he will have his next child via fertility treatment to "alleviate" against any potential issues. The 27-year-old online personality is currently locked in a bitter battle with former girlfriend Halle Bailey - with whom he has 18-month-old son Halo - and he's joked about using his wealth in order to fund having another baby with the intervention of medical specialists. During a livestream on Twitch, he said: 'If I'm 29 or something like that, and I ain't got the time… I'll just go to that little place, do my little one-two, put my s*** in a cup. Take a little egg from somebody, throw it in another little body. Cook that motherf***** up for nine months, ya know? You can do that type s*** when you got money. That'll alleviate a lot of s***.' Last month, DDG failed in a bid to secure a domestic violence restraining order against Halle The streamer had alleged the 25-year-old actress posed a risk to Halo and sought to prevent her from taking the little boy with her to Italy, where she had filming commitments. In response, the Little Mermaid star filed to deny DDG's request and asked for permission to take Halo out of the US, as well as requesting her former partner, his family and friends, stop posting about her, their son, and their court drama on all platforms. According to TMZ, the court sided with Halle. In court documents obtained by PEOPLE magazine and other outlets, DDG had accused his former partner of being an "an imminent emotional and psychological risk to the minor child based on repeated, documented threats of self-harm". He alleged that if Halo left the country, the child wouldn't have the protections of the court or any "emergency intervention mechanisms". DDG - whose real name is Daryl Dwayne Granberry Jr. - also claimed Halle has made "repeated threats of suicide and self-harm" and alleged she "routinely used emotional coercion and manipulation to exert her control over me, often threatening me by using self-harm or ending her life" during what has been referred to as an almost three year "on again/off again" relationship. DDG claimed she allegedly "threatened to end her life using my legally owned firearm" in 2023, as well as stalking him during their relationship, and physically and verbally abusing him. He wrote in the filing: "Given these threats to self-harm, I believe the Petitioner is a threat to our son's safety such that she should not be allowed to take Halo out of the country to Italy for a period of two months." In May, Halle was granted temporary sole physical and legal custody of Halo, along with a temporary restraining order which expired in line with a planned court hearing on June 4. She had accused DDG of domestic abuse, while previous court documents obtained by Page Six, saw her allege that she filed for sole custody without notifying DDG because she was "afraid that the violence would reoccur" and that "the other party would take the children out of the area".
