Montreal's first dedicated mocktail bar and exclusive zero-proof menu is located in this gigantic space downtown
Montreal's nightlife season is in full swing, and the quality of non-alcoholic drinks in the city is evolving—even rivalling classic cocktails. Local demand is rising for craft mocktail menus and sober-friendly venues, with many Montreal bars prominently featuring zero-alcohol mixes and creative options. Restaurants and bars —including Michelin-recognized spots—are also incorporating zero‑proof cocktails that are just as killer as their alcoholic counterparts. Looking for an extensive cocktail menu that features a fine selection of original mocktails? Time Out Market Montréal, where some of the best chefs and restaurants in the city are gathered under one roof, is the only bar in Montreal with a dedicated mocktail bar (and an original zero-alcohol menu created exclusively for the Market). A collaboration and co-creation with Alambika, the Market's signature mocktail menu celebrates art of alcohol-free mixology where boldness meets finesse. Each drink is crafted as a complete sensory experience, where expert mixology techniques meet ingredients carefully selected for their freshness, natural benefits, and aromatics. From a tropical getaway in a glass to a spritz misted with green mandarin, well-being is at the heart of every sip. Where are the best alcohol‑free cocktails in Montreal? Check out Time Out Market Montréal's killer mocktail menu, available now and throughout the summer: Tonic Boréale A tribute to Nordic flavours, this mocktail blends the complexity of a non-alcoholic botanical gin with a house-made 'No Gin Tonic' syrup and a pop of infused rosemary. Topped with an effervescent tonic, it's delicately finished with a mist of spruce for a refreshing, woody finale—a sensory experience that evokes a walk in the forest. Éden Tropical This delicately balanced alcohol-free cocktail is where non-alcoholic dry gin meets the tangy sweetness of passion fruit syrup. A dash of vanilla syrup adds a smooth, indulgent touch, while yuzu soda brings a unique citrus twist. A refreshing, bold drink that's perfect for any occasion. Perle Des Îles A tropical getaway in a glass: alcohol-free spiced rum mingles with rich coconut cream and ube and coconut syrup for a smooth sweetness with exotic notes. Pineapple juice adds a touch of fruit and sunshine, while fresh lime juice balances it all with a lively hint of acidity. It's a sun-soaked alcohol-free taste of the beach. Chlorofizz This refreshing, summery alcohol-free cocktail uses non-alcoholic tequila to bring structure, enhanced by a garden-fresh syrup with herbal and aromatic notes. Ginger syrup adds a spicy kick, all topped with soda for a bright, sparkling finish. This mocktail evokes a sunny garden with just the right amount of zest. Minuit Mocktini Looking for a refined mocktail reminiscent of the classic Espresso Martini? Non-alcoholic tequila provides a bold base here, layered with alcohol-free coffee liqueur and a hint of alcohol-free amaretto for velvety sweetness. Espresso syrup deepens the roasted flavours, while chocolate bitters add a smooth, complex finish. Perfect for coffee lovers. Mentha Libre Expect a refreshing blend of alcohol-free spiced rum, delicate notes of bergamot syrup, fresh lime juice and the invigorating freshness of mint leaves in every sip of this mocktail. Topped with soda for a light, thirst-quenching effervescence, this balanced drink is both tangy and aromatic—sippable on any occasion. Dolce Spritz This vibrant Italian-inspired alcohol-free aperitif blends the sparkling freshness of Grüvy Bubbly Rosé with the tangy sweetness of triple sec syrup. A mist of green mandarin adds a delicate, aromatic note, while grapefruit syrup lends a subtle touch of bitterness. This elegant mocktail is ideal for kicking off the night on a light, refreshing note. Élixir Des Moines Sip on this bold alcohol-free cocktail where herbal gin blends with kalamansi syrup, delivering a unique tangy freshness. Absinthe syrup adds a mysterious touch, while fresh grapefruit juice balances with brightness. Tarragon bitters finish it off with subtle herbal notes. Figroni A rich, smooth mocktail where deep notes of a non-alcoholic dark rum mingle with an Italian-style non-alcoholic liqueur. Fig syrup adds a warm, fruity sweetness, that's a counterpart to the hint of chocolate bitters. It's an alcohol-free creation inspired by classic digestifs, ideal for late evenings. Alma Del Sol Non-alcoholic spiced rum meets the fruity sweetness of apricot syrup and the exotic notes of saffron syrup in this rich, vibrant drink. Fresh lime juice adds tang, while Mexican spices add a warm, captivating note. It's a drink that promises a sensory journey with sunny accents.
