Nabavian stated that Iran had informed Qatar before attacking the Al-Udeid Base. He said the Qataris responded that they were 'in this together' with Iran and conveyed a message from the Americans suggesting that Iran strike an American airbase in another specific country, a suggestion Iran refused. Nabavian added that Iran went ahead and attacked America's most important base in Qatar and humiliated the U.S.
He remarked that the Iranians made it clear they would not agree to a ceasefire before retaliating against the U.S. After Iran's attack on Al-Udeid Base, Nabavian said U.S. Envoy Witkoff contacted the Iranians and conveyed that the U.S. and Israel wanted a ceasefire, claiming this was the 10th or 20th time they had begged for one. He concluded by saying that the Iranian people had stood up to all of NATO and won, stating: 'Victory is inscribed on the foreheads of the Iranian people, and defeat is etched upon the face of global heresy.'

The Tragedy Of The Druze Community In Syria – Granting International Legitimacy To A Government That Has Not Demonstrated The Basic Ability Or Willingness To Protect Its People Is An Indirect Endorsem
In the heart of Syria, deep within a wound left open for years, a community known for its wisdom, patience, and inner peace is once again under attack. The Druze – a rooted, ancient community grounded in tolerance and coexistence – are now enduring a new chapter of collective pain. Entire villages in Sweida province have been assaulted. Families displaced, women widowed, and children who once dreamed of school and peace now see those dreams reduced to ashes. Elderly men have been humiliated, young people arrested or forcibly disappeared, and voices of truth are being suffocated in the chaos of armed militias. What's happening is not a passing conflict – it is a systematic crime. A humanitarian disaster committed in broad daylight while the world watches silently, offering analysis but no action. As a member of this community, I write not a political statement, but a moral plea. A plea from a surviving child, from a grieving mother, from a father who lost his home, from an elder who no longer finds solace even in prayer. We do not seek revenge. We do not carry weapons of hatred. We only raise our voices in truth. Sheikh Dr. Kasem Bader Silence Today Is A Betrayal Of Justice Where Is The World? Where is the conscience of humanity? Where is the international community? Where are the United Nations and the Human Rights Council? Where are the United States, the European Union, and the Arab League? Where are you for a mother who lost her children before her eyes? From children who saw their fathers executed? From elders beaten in their own homes? From a people who want nothing more than to survive – with dignity? Silence today is a betrayal of justice. Turning a blind eye makes the world a silent partner in a continuous crime. Syrian Soldiers Force Druze Civilians at Gunpoint to Jump to Their Deaths from a Balcony – Viewer Discretion Advised; In a video circulated online on July 19, 2025, Syrian soldiers are seen forcing Druze civilians at gunpoint to jump off the balcony of a private residence to their deaths. The soldiers filmed the incident themselves and can be heard reciting "Allahu Akbar" after the men jump. (See MEMRI TV clip No. 12160, Syrian Soldiers Force Druze Civilians at Gunpoint to Jump to Their Deaths from a Balcony – Viewer Discretion Advised, July 19, 2025) The Role Of The International Community: A Call For Accountability It is time for the U.S. administration to act – clearly and decisively. We call upon the American government, as one of the international actors that once granted legitimacy to the current Syrian regime, to hold accountable those responsible for the atrocities in Sweida. We demand an immediate halt to the lawless chaos carried out by the so-called "Shari'a" militias – extremist groups backed by elements once recruited into the regime's apparatus and now repurposed into a new campaign of oppression and fear. Following the withdrawal of regular forces from Sweida under political agreements, the door has been left open for these terrorist gangs – armed and emboldened – to take control, spreading terror under the name of the regime and the cover of international silence. The United States, as a sponsor of certain political tracks, is called upon today – not tomorrow – to respond. Granting international legitimacy to a government that has not demonstrated the basic ability or willingness to protect its people is a disgraceful silence – and an indirect endorsement of violence. Who Supports These Militias? What we face is not random. The militias attacking Sweida are supported either directly by the regime or by forces closely aligned with it. These are "official militias" in an "unofficial" disguise, executing brutal acts after regular forces were strategically pulled out to avoid international condemnation. What is even more alarming is that the so-called "Shari'a" group has drafted a strict Islamic constitution – one that opposes the very principles of pluralism, coexistence, and religious inclusion. It seeks to erase anyone who differs in belief or identity. We Ask for Protection, Not Privilege We, the Druze – small in number, vast in spirit – do not seek power, nor do we wish to shift political balances. We only ask to live... without fear. We ask for immediate international protection. We ask for independent UN monitoring of the crimes committed. We ask for these violations to be formally entered into the records of the Security Council and for an urgent investigation by recognized human rights organizations. We ask for the free voices of the world to join us in this cry. Not because we are Druze, but because we are human beings. And what is happening in Sweida today could happen anywhere tomorrow if the world remains blind and deaf. A Call To Humanity We now call on the international community not just to give humanitarian aid, but to take a clear positions on crimes against civilians. We want our voices to reach the U.S. administration through you. Be a bridge of truth, not a silent institution. This is not a political issue – it is a matter of global conscience. We do not want anything but to remain alive... with dignity. To pray in our homes without being killed for being different. This is a cry from the heart of Syria, For humanity. For lives that do not deserve to be buried in silence. *Sheikh Dr. Kasem Bader is a Druze leader, President and Founder of the Universal Peace Council for Human Rights.

Article In Egyptian Daily: U.S. President Trump Acts Like Hitler To Impose His Control And Is A Threat To The World
On June 29, 2025 the independent Egyptian daily Al-Masri Al-Yawm, owned by businessmen like Salah Diab and Naguib Sawiris, published an article titled "Is There a Resemblance between Trump and Hitler?", written by Ahmed Sherin Fawzy, a former governor of Egypt's Monufia governorate. The article claims that U.S. President Donald Trump and the leader of Nazi Germany, Adolf Hitler, are similar in their policies, marked by "arrogance," "intimidation" and use of "political pressure and bullying to achieve their aims." The only difference between them, Fawzy says, is that is that "Hitler was defeated and his rule ended in destruction, whereas Trump continues to seek to solidify his influence, posing an ongoing threat to the world." He concludes by wondering whether Trump will lead to another global conflict and whether the American people will "pay the price for Trump's arrogance and recklessness, just as the German people paid for Hitler's hubris." It should be noted that, in the past few months, this daily published numerous cartoons presenting Trump as a Nazi and the world as a victim of his Nazi positions, such as the two cartoons below.[1] Trump as a Nazi in March 8, 2025 cartoon in Al-Masri Al-Yawm February 22, 2025 cartoon in Al-Masri Al-Yawm presents Trump as a Nazi whose pro-Israeli positions set the "Middle East" on fire The following is an English version of Fawzy's article posted June 30, 2025 in the online newspaper Egypt Independent.[2] "Across different eras, there have been leaders who have arrogantly wielded their power, disregarding international laws and resorting to political pressure and bullying to achieve their aims. Among them, Donald Trump and Adolf Hitler share certain similarities in their aggressive policies, both domestically and internationally. "Hitler relied on military force and direct threats to assert his control over European nations, aiming to create a 'Greater German Reich' through occupation. Trump, on the other hand, chooses instead to leverage military, economic, and political power to extort nations and assert American dominance, opting for these methods over direct military intervention—at least for now. "Hitler exploited weaker nations, forcing them to finance his wars through imposed taxes and financial blackmail. Trump has used a similar approach with some countries, compelling them to inject billions of dollars into the U.S. economy,[3] which reflects his style of political and economic extortion. On top of that, Trump made statements about seizing the Panama Canal and renaming it the 'America Canal' [sic]. His racist policies toward Latin American countries have further caused significant friction. Even traditional U.S. allies like Canada, Mexico, and some European nations such as Denmark weren't spared from Trump's controversial decisions. "Additionally, Hitler enacted forced displacement against minorities, compelling Jews and others to leave their lands through coercion or detention. Trump has adopted a similar concept with the Palestinians, proposing their forced relocation to Sinai and Jordan as part of his 'Deal of the Century' [sic]. However this plan faced strong rejection from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and the Egyptian people, who viewed the forced displacement of Palestinians as a betrayal of the Palestinian cause and a threat to Egypt's national security. "Furthermore, Hitler withdrew from the League of Nations, refusing to abide by international laws. Similarly, Trump pulled the U.S. out of the World Health Organization and the Paris Climate Accord. He also utilized the veto power against U.N. Security Council resolutions that condemned his actions in the Middle East, including siding with Israel in its conflict with Iran to dismantle its nuclear program and realize the 'New Middle East' project. "Hitler ignited World War II, leading to widespread devastation across Europe. Trump, meanwhile, has escalated crises in the Middle East through actions like moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, supporting Israeli settlements, imposing normalization on some Arab nations, and finally, escalating conflict with Iran – all of which have intensified regional disputes. "Despite the differing circumstances, Trump's approach mirrors Hitler's in its use of intimidation of other nations, arrogance, and exploitation of power to serve his interests. This includes economic extortion of certain Arab countries, attempts at forced displacement of Palestinians, and imposing oppressive policies globally. The sole distinction is that Hitler was defeated and his rule ended in destruction, whereas Trump continues to seek to solidify his influence, posing an ongoing threat to the world. "Finally, will Trump lead the world into a new global conflict? And will the American people pay the price for Trump's arrogance and recklessness, just as the German people paid for Hitler's hubris?"
