Master LinkedIn with comment-led growth, without even posting
The comment section of LinkedIn posts have become a wasteland of AI-generated platitudes. They look terrible, they add zero value, and LinkedIn probably should do something about it. But within that mess lies your opportunity. People on LinkedIn are craving realness. When everyone else is writing "Great post! [Insert cheesy line that repeats the sentiment in a new way]Their bad comments make your good ones look even better. Like a handwritten note in a pile of junk mail. Now, you just have to show up and comment.
Most business owners spray generic responses across the platform, hoping something sticks. But your dream clients want depth, insight, and genuine engagement. Not volume. Master strategic commenting and transform from just another notification into someone they remember, respect, and eventually buy from. While everyone else fights the algorithm, you're building relationships one meaningful interaction at a time.
Grow by leaving awesome LinkedIn comments
Your commenting strategy needs a theme. And the theme stems from your beliefs. Specifically, those that your dream customers share, even if they don't realise. First up, identify your strongest beliefs. You're going to use your comments to mirror their beliefs back to them. When you comment on someone else's post, your comment has a chance of appearing on the feeds of your followers. So they need to see that you are their sort of person.
Think about the core truths that drive your business. Maybe you believe that automation without personalization kills brands. Perhaps you're convinced that most marketing advice ignores human psychology. Whatever your stance, make it clear and consistent. Your comments become mini-manifestos that attract the right people while repelling those who'll never understand your value.
Don't waste your comments. Only comment on the posts of people who match your dream customer or who also serve your dream customer. Most of LinkedIn is people who will never buy from you. You need to be intentional and targeted to make this work. Create a spreadsheet with 50 names. For additional detail, include their typical posting times, the topics they care about, and what kind of comments get the most engagement on their posts.
Show up consistently in the right conversations to become a familiar face in your ideal client's world. They start recognizing your name, appreciating your insights, and looking forward to your perspective. And if your profile is optimised, they'll know what you do. Strategic commenting can lead to five-figure contracts without cold pitching. Just consistent, valuable presence in the right places.
Your energy comes through in every word you type. Listen to your favorite hype music when you comment. Take some deep breaths. Stretch. Be ready to spread good vibes. When you feel energized and engaged, you write better comments that spark conversations. Set a timer for 20 minutes and treat commenting like a focused work session. No email tabs open. No Slack notifications. Just you, LinkedIn, and the intention to add value.
When you comment from this state, you naturally write responses that feel generous rather than grabby. People sense the difference. They respond more openly, engage more deeply, and remember you as someone who brings positive energy to their posts. Think about the comments that make you smile versus the ones that feel like someone's fishing for attention. Be the former. Every single time.
When you comment on someone's post, DM them as well. Become even more familiar to them. It doesn't need to be complicated. It doesn't need to be a lengthy message. Let them know they are doing great. Let them know you are cheering for them. A simple "Your post about client boundaries really resonated. I've been thinking about this all morning" goes further than a pitch.
The magic happens when someone sees your thoughtful comment publicly, then gets a warm DM privately. You've just created two touchpoints that reinforce each other. They're far more likely to check out your profile, read your content, and remember who you are. Business owners keep mental lists of people who consistently support their content. When they need services those supporters offer, they become the first call.
Your commenting strategy needs constant evolution. Revisit your list monthly. Notice whose content no longer aligns with your message. Add new voices who've caught your attention. Pay attention to which comments spark conversations versus which ones get ignored. Are you adding unique perspectives or echoing what others already said? If I covered up your name on your comments, would people still know it's you?
Track your results without obsessing over vanity metrics. Maybe you notice that your comments on posts about leadership challenges always start conversations, while your responses to motivational quotes don't. Use these insights to adapt your approach. When you comment strategically for six months, you'll have built a network of people who know, like, and trust you without ever feeling sold to.
Play the long game: grow your LinkedIn with comments
Use comment-led growth to become indispensable to the right people over time. While others chase viral posts and algorithm hacks, you're building relationships that turn into revenue. Share your beliefs. Get intentional and show up meaningfully, stacking touchpoints in the DMs. Go from random LinkedIn connections to a community of people keen to work with you. Your next big client is probably posting right now. Go find them.

Raw Commodities Bulls Have Been Beat Up. These 2 Major Catalysts Could Seriously Turn Things Around.

Much of the raw commodity sector has been beaten up over the past several weeks, including grains, soft commodities, and crude oil. However, veteran raw commodity market watchers are taking note of two important developments that could turn the tide more in favor of the bulls: a slumping U.S. dollar and falling U.S. Treasury yields. The U.S. Dollar Index ($DXY) on Tuesday hit a 3.5-year low and has been trending lower since mid-January. The USDX is a basket of six major world currencies weighted against the greenback. The index is a good gauge of the overall health of the U.S. economy. Most major global trade is conducted in U.S. dollars. When the greenback is depreciating, that means purchasing dollar-based commodities in non-U.S. currency is a less expensive endeavor — suggesting better demand for those dollar-based commodities, including metals, grains, energy, soft commodities, and livestock. Subscribe today! Importantly, trends in the currency markets tend to be stronger and longer lasting than price trends in other markets. The Dollar Index is in a six-month price downtrend, but that is by no means a mature bear market for currency. I expect a weaker U.S. dollar could be price-bullish for commodity markets for at least another year. The other element that could help pressure the U.S. Dollar Index is the upcoming BRICS meeting between Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. These countries are all aiming to undermine the U.S. dollar's strength and reserve status around the globe. The BRICS summit will take place in Rio de Janeiro on July 6-7. The early July BRICS meeting will be closely monitored by the general marketplace, but especially by currency traders. The benchmark U.S. Treasury note yield this week has fallen to a two-month low of around 4.2%. Reasons for declining U.S. yields include tamer U.S. inflation reports in recent months, recent U.S. economic data that has not been overly weak but has also not been robust, and better safe-haven demand for U.S. Treasuries amid the recent geopolitical flare-up in the Middle East. Falling U.S. Treasury yields suggest the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates sooner rather than later. Currently, the market is factoring in at least two interest rate cuts by the Fed this year. The Fed's own current projections indicate two cuts. However, if Treasury yields continue on a mild downward trajectory in the coming weeks, don't be surprised to see the market factor in three rate cuts from the Fed. You can bet that Fed Chairman Jerome Powell is also feeling the pressure from President Donald Trump to cut interest rates. If and when the Fed does cut interest rates, it will likely stimulate consumer demand for goods and services due to lower borrowing costs. And if the Fed is cutting interest rates, other world central banks would be more likely to do the same, and in turn stimulate better global demand for raw commodities. This scenario would mean a cyclical upturn in raw commodity market prices that would likely last at least a couple years. The scenario also suggests many currently beaten-up raw commodity markets are presently value-buying opportunities. Circle Just Applied for a Bank Charter. How Should You Play CRCL Stock Here?

Circle (CRCL) shares remain in focus on Tuesday following reports the stablecoin firm has filed for a national trust bank charter with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). The filing underscores CRCL's commitment to integrating stablecoins into the U.S. financial system and – if approved – will enable the company to launch the First National Digital Currency Bank. Circle stock is currently up a staggering 500% versus its initial public offering (IPO) price. Circle's reported application for a national trust bank charter is a strategic leap toward regulatory legitimacy – which may prove a major tailwind for its stock price over time. If approved, the NYSE-listed firm will operate under direct OCC oversight, allowing it to manage USDC reserves in-house and offer institutional-grade custody for tokenized assets like stocks and bonds. This would help reduce reliance on third-party custodians, including BNY Mellon and BlackRock (BLK), streamlining operations and potentially raising investor confidence in CRCL shares. Simply put, the aforementioned filing signals Circle's evolution from crypto-native disruptor to federally regulated financial infrastructure provider – a narrative that the Street is bound to appreciate. Circle had a blockbuster IPO in early June and global interest in this crypto stock hasn't waned since. Still, JPMorgan analysts led by Kenneth Worthington assumed coverage of CRCL shares with an 'Underweight' rating this week, saying the valuation on them is 'outside our comfort zone.' Worthington acknowledged the company's 'early-mover advantage' and the outsized opportunity in stablecoin and USDC growth in his research note – but cautioned against buying Circle stock as all of it looks more than priced in already. JPM is convinced that Circle Internet Group could come crashing down to $80 per share within a year. Other Wall Street analysts, however, recommend loading up on CRCL stock at current levels since the Senate's recent approval of 'GENIUS Act' could open floodgates of demand for stablecoins. According to Barchart, the consensus rating on Circle shares currently sits at 'Moderate Buy' with the mean target of $220 indicating potential upside nearly 16% from current levels. Anoka County 911 center testing AI to screen nonemergency calls, ease workload

How 911 dispatchers are using AI to handle nonemergency calls on busy nights How 911 dispatchers are using AI to handle nonemergency calls on busy nights How 911 dispatchers are using AI to handle nonemergency calls on busy nights Skies will be lighting up with fireworks on Friday, but so will 911 lines. Emergency response dispatchers face a flood of calls on the fourth. On average, about 1,900 calls come into the c Facility (ECF) in Plymouth. Officials say that number spikes on July Fourth. In 2021, over 2,700 calls came in 24 hours. "The Fourth of July is probably our busiest holiday we see," said Tony Martin, Director of Emergency Communications at Hennepin County Sheriff's Office. Martin says local 911 centers are overloaded, the surge largely due to an uptick in nonemergency fireworks complaints, meaning one less dispatcher available to answer a call for a crime in progress, a medical emergency or a fire. "We would ask people to call our nonemergency number if you need to call in fireworks complaints," Martin said. As the calls start to roll in on the Fourth of July weekend, Anoka County's 911 center is tapping into an artificial intelligence system to screen nonemergency calls to ease the workload and get to more calls. The call will be transferred to the automated system to collect details before sending it back to the dispatcher to send to the appropriate agency. "You can't take the human out of 911, but if we are also going to be here, we need to be more available for the emergencies," said Kari Morrissey with Anoka County Emergency Communications Center. Morrissey says this new system is being rolled out this holiday weekend to test how well it works before the full rollout to use AI during major holidays. "It's going to save us, we think about two to three minutes per call, and will free up dispatchers to get to those priority calls," Morrissey said. Saving critical time, when every second counts. In Minneapolis, residents can call 311 for noise complaints. In Anoka County, the non-emergency number is 763-427-1212. In Hennepin County, the non-emergency number is 952-258-5321.
