An £80million British-made superyacht was on fire in Saint-Tropez with rescuers fearing she might sink.
The Sea Lady II, which is chartered out for around £70,000 a week over the summer high season, was engulfed with flames in the French Riviera port on Thursday evening.

"Smoke was reported soon after 8pm," said a Var department emergency services spokesman.
"The yacht's forward hull then burst into flames, and then the fire spread to the lower decks."
Two people believed to be crew members aged 24 and 35 were rescued, and both were suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation.
There were no other reported injuries.
While the worst of the blaze was extinguished by midnight, firefighters reported "difficulties boarding the boat," said the source.
He said: "Surrounding yachts were quickly cleared, and we set up anti-pollution barriers.
"This is because it was likely that the boat was sinking into the sea."
As the drama unfolded in a prime berth opposite the Saint-Tropez tourist office, hundreds of tourists looked on, while filming videos and taking photos.
There was no immediate clue as to what caused the fire, but an investigation was immediately launched by the emergency services.
There was no sign of the owner, who was not immediately identified by the authorities.

The 137ft Sea Lady II was originally called D'Angleterre II after being built in the Souter yard in Cowes, on the Isle of Wight.
Launched in 1986, and undergoing a full refit last year, she now sails under a Maltese flag.
She has a crew of eight, and can accommodate up to 10 passengers in her five cabins, all equipped with their own bathrooms, in five-star luxury.
Saint Tropez was first made famous by French actress Brigitte Bardot in the 1950s, and is now regularly filled with multimillionaire showbiz stars.
Arson has been blamed for a number of fires along France's Mediterranean coast this summer, during a heatwave.
'Malicious acts' caused power outages in Nice, after an electrical facility was damaged last month, according to Christian Estrosi, the Mayor of the city.
There was a similar attack in Cannes, at the end of the town's world famous film festival in May.
Wildfires reached nearby Marseille on Tuesday, leading to the airport serving France's second city to be shut down.
Train services in the area were also suspended because of fires near the tracks, said a spokesman for SNCF, France's train operator.

Fairgoer Emma Perry, who was there with her daughter, described the "traumatic" scenes. She told the DailyEcho: "The girl was on the oscillating floor in the Fun House when she slipped, fell backwards and her hair got caught in the rollers on the floor. 'Her friend came off the ride and said she was bleeding, so I offered my services as a first aider. 'When I got up there, I saw that three quarters of the girl's scalp had been ripped off in what we call a degloving incident." Emma claimed the teen was taken away on a stretcher, while fire crews had to cut a section of the ride away. Thee 51-year-old recalled the youngster was "screaming" and "very distressed". Another bystander who helped the teen told the BBC: "One of the girl's friends came down and said how serious it was and some of us offered assistance. "It's very shocking it could happen on a fairground ride that young children go on. This must never happen again." Charles Cole, who runs the event, dubbed it a "freak accident" that was under investigation. He told the Echo: "Nobody wants to hurt anyone, and we are a family business. Last night was very upsetting, especially for the man who owns the ride. "Safety is our priority, and we sympathise with the girl and her parents." Cllr David Harrison said he is "shocked and saddened" by the incident. He added: "I am sure it will be properly investigated and any necessary action taken. "My thoughts are with the injured person, family and friends." A Health and Safety Executive spokesperson said the incident was "local authority enforced and with Hampshire police". Newport thug pleads guilty to flashing and assaulting PCs
Thug Wesley Davies, 34, from Newport, who has 83 previous convictions for 164 offences, committed the offences after being released from prison for a serious assault. He was jailed for 13 months in May last year for splitting a nurse's head wide open with a single punch. Davies' latest offences were committed on July 11 and July 12 in Newport and Cwmbran. He admitted assaulting a police officer, exposure, assault by beating and damaging a Gwent Police vehicle. The defendant was remanded in custody at Newport Magistrates' Court and is due to be sentenced on July 30. Davies was locked up last year for attacking Kevin Randall. The victim had been out with family and friends watching the British and Irish Lions rugby Test match against South Africa. He punched the consultant emergency nurse outside the Esso petrol station on Cardiff's Newport Road at around 9pm on Saturday, July 31, 2021. An argument had broken out between the strangers after the groups Mr Randall and Davies were with had rowed over a taxi. Matthew Comer, prosecuting, said: 'The victim's head hit the floor and he was knocked unconscious.' CCTV footage capturing the assault was played to the judge, Recorder David Warner. He said to Davies: 'You joined in and took up a provocative position before I accept returning to the taxi. 'There's then a further exchange of words, we can see that between the female members of your group, and then you got back out of the taxi, went straight up to Mr Randall and punched him. 'You punched him so hard that he fell unconscious on the floor with the back of his head split wide open. 'The offence to which you have pleaded guilty is a cowardly and unpleasant one with significant consequences for your victim.' Mr Randall was taken to the University of Wales Hospital, Cardiff in an ambulance and 21 surgical staples were needed to close the deep wound. In a victim personal statement he revealed how he suffers from ongoing 'memory loss and psychological harm'. He was off work for four weeks as a result of his injury and had to miss a family holiday. 'I'm aware that the attack that night could easily have killed me,' Mr Randall said. Davies pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm. Assault occasioning actual bodily harm and possession of a machete in public are among his previous convictions. Joshua Scouller said in mitigation: 'He regrets enormously the injury that he caused. 'The defendant is a man who has had problems with alcohol and has sought to become sober.' His barrister added that the lengthy delay in the case coming to court was not the fault of his client and the prosecution could offer no explanation for the slow progress.
