The Warren JFK graduate racked up four birdies and capped off his round by draining a long eagle putt on 18 to move into a tie for third with Charles Howell III at 8-under overall. They sit five strokes behind leader Bryson DeChambeau.
Kokrak's team, Smash GC, along with Brooks Koepka, Taylor Gooch and Graeme McDowell, currently sits in first place with the overall team score of 21-under.
LIV Golf Korea round three tees off at 11:25 PM on Saturday, May 3, and will stretch into the early morning hours of Sunday, May 4.

Graeme McDowell has just a single top-10 finish on the LIV Golf circuit this year, and he admitted to the British golf site Bunkered that he's seriously considering a dive into the media world if his playing days on the fledgling league are coming to a close. In fact, after a week on the microphone for Sky Sports and the R&A's 'World Feed' coverage during the 2025 Open Championship at Portrush, McDowell said his appetite has officially been whetted. "Is there any TV in my future? Potentially, when I'm done playing golf, it was always something that I wanted to dip my toe into to see if I liked it. And last week was a way to have a little chip at it and see if there's anything there," he told Bunkered. 'First and foremost. I mean, I gained a definite appreciation for the skill level involved in being very, very good at it, you know, surrounded by guys like, you know, Ewan Murray and Nick Dougherty and Andrew Cotter and Ken Brown." McDowell is back on the other side of the mic this week at LIV Golf UK, where he pulled off a masterful shot during Friday's opening round. After finding some thick stuff on the par-4 11th hole at JCB Golf & Country Club, the 2010 U.S. Open winner showed his creativity around the greens as he pitched a ball up on a slope and brought it back down inches from the cup. Now 45, McDowell signed a one-year deal with Smash GC, Brooks Koepka's squad, but he's on the outside looking in for next year, in terms of relegation. The Northern Irishman is 32nd in the LIV standings and he needs to get into the top 24 in the next three events to secure a spot for 2026. Understandably, he's keeping his future options open. 'Say I was done with LIV at the end of this year and I got unceremoniously dumped out, what would I do? Would I go back to the European Tour for a year, take up a year's membership and one of my exemptions there? Or would I make the jump into the media world?' McDowell told Bunkered. 'It would really just depend on how I feel, how I feel my game is, how my health is, what the world would look like from a media point of view." "I'll continue to talk to some of these media outlets and maybe do a little training on the side, you know, just to get myself ready. I feel like I know a lot of these guys very well and I understand the sport. I'd give it a go for a year or two just to see if I like it. LIV Golf Andalucía: Talor Gooch Leads After Rd. 2; Dustin Johnson's 4Aces Surge
SAN ROQUE, Spain – Two years after posting his last LIV Golf win at Andalucía, Talor Gooch is displaying the same kind of form that won him the league's Individual Championship in 2023. The Smash GC star shot a second-round 5-under 66 on Saturday to grab a commanding four-shot lead after 36 holes at the historic Real Club Valderrama. It's the first time he's led after 36 holes since his breakthrough season two years ago, when he won three times. Dustin Johnson, captain of the 4Aces team that Gooch played for during the inaugural 2022 season, is his closest pursuer at 3 under. Stinger GC's Branden Grace, battling relegation, is another stroke back in solo third. Legion XIII Captain Jon Rahm, 4Aces GC's Patrick Reed — winner two weeks ago in Dallas — and Iron Heads GC's Jinichiro Kozuma are tied for fourth at 1 under. The 4Aces are seeking their first win since 2023, like Gooch, and top the team leaderboard at 2 over, one stroke ahead of Smash and five ahead of Legion XIII. Bryson DeChambeau's Crushers GC, seeking their fourth consecutive victory, are in sixth place, nine strokes off the pace. Saturday's play included the completion of the first round, which had been suspended on Friday due to severe winds and the threat of dangerous conditions. After finishing his final five holes, Gooch emerged with a share of the 18-hole lead with Ripper GC Captain Cameron Smith and Torque GC Captain Joaquin Niemann at 2 under, and then was the only one who kept his position on a challenging but less blustery afternoon. While Gooch has good vibes at Valderrama, he also understands the difficulties of protecting a lead on this challenging course. A year ago, Anirban Lahiri entered the final round with the same four-shot lead but ultimately lost in a playoff to Fireballs GC Captain and local favorite Sergio Garcia, who rallied from seven strokes down. Amazingly, Garcia is in the same exact position this year — even par through 36 holes and seven strokes back. "In general, on LIV, there's really no lead that's safe, especially at a golf course like this," Gooch said. "Things can happen quickly, and you're one shot away from a big number. There's definitely no sense of [relaxation] or calmness. "I know DJ (Dustin Johnson) is right behind me. … There's just too many good players out here to feel like I'm comfortable just showing up and winning this tomorrow. I've got to play a really good round of golf to get this thing done." Johnson won the Individual Championship in 2022, and Gooch followed a year later. Both have worked hard to regain their form and improve on their results in 2025. Johnson shot a bogey-free 7-under 64, the lowest round through the first two days and his second-lowest round, relative to par, this season. "My game has been really good [in] the last month and a half or so," said Johnson, who is seeking to win a LIV Golf tournament for the fourth consecutive year. "Just haven't really seen the results that I feel like I should be shooting. "Today, it was nice to actually put together a really solid round." After a difficult start to the season, Gooch has put together several solid rounds lately, recently producing a four-tournament stretch of top-15 finishes. He's happy to see his increased practice routine paying dividends. "I've found a lot of dirt on the range," he said. "Just worked my tail off. It's good to see all of those hours and hours kind of paying off." But the job is not complete. When Gooch won at Valderrama in 2023, he had to overtake DeChambeau on the final day. Last year's result showed that a rally from seven shots down is possible. Valderrama is a difficult course, and scores can go off the rails fast, leaving the door open for the chasers. "I've got a chance," Johnson said. "It's doable," added Rahm. "Everything has to go my way tomorrow," noted Garcia. "Not only do I have to play really well, but then the leaders have to play badly. It's a big combination of things." Gooch is ready for the challenge — and ready to return to the top of the podium. "Nothing is given tomorrow," he said. "Just because I played good today, it has no bearing on the results tomorrow. Tomorrow is a fresh day, and we've got to go have a great day." LIV Golf's new scoring format this season now involves all four scores now counting in every round in the team competition. LIV Golf Andalucía: Talor Gooch wins individual title; Legion XIII tops all teams
SAN ROQUE, Spain – On a beautiful Sunday at LIV Golf Andalucía, Smash GC's Talor Gooch narrowly hung on to his 36-hole lead to earn his fourth individual LIV Golf title and his first since 2023. Gooch, who won the league's Individual Championship in 2023, has now won two of the three events played at Valderrama on LIV Golf. The 33-year-old followed his Saturday 5-under 66 with a 1-under 70 to hold off a hard-charging back that was headlined by Legion XIII Captain Jon Rahm. Rahm shot a 6-under 65, tying him with Ripper GC's Matt Jones for the low round of the day. Rahm was able to celebrate a win, however. His Legion XIII shot 5 under for the week and took the team title, edging Fireballs GC (3 under). Rahm tied Gooch at 7 under when Rahm had one hole to play and Gooch had two, including the par-5 17th. Gooch would make birdie after an excellent lag putt from off the green, and Rahm drove it left into the trees on the 18th. After a punch out and a wedge shot that left him close to 20 feet, Rahm made a momentum-saving putt on the last hole followed by an enormous fist pump to keep his hopes of the individual title alive. However, Gooch played the 18th hole brilliantly, leaving himself a tap-in for par and the win. Legion XIII was led by fantastic rounds from Rahm and Tom McKibbin (5-under 66). Caleb Surratt came up clutch for Rahm, making birdie on five of his last nine holes after playing his first nine at 4-over par. Surratt finished with a 1-under 70. Teammate Tyrrell Hatton shot even-par 70 to help his team to the hardware. The win marks the third of the season for Legion XIII, with all three victories coming outside the United States (Riyadh and Mexico City). For the Fireballs, Abraham Ancer finished in third place, shooting a 5-under 66 to achieve his best finish since LIV Golf Adelaide where he finished tied for second. For the third consecutive tournament, 4Aces GC failed to convert a 36-hole lead into their first victory since 2023. The 4Aces finished in a tie for third alongside Smash GC, who were led by Jason Kokrak's 2-under 69. Branden Grace of Stinger GC shot a 2-under 69 to finish tied for fourth, which was an important result for his place in the standings as the 37-year-old projects to move from 49th in the individual standings to 34th, well inside the Drop Zone. The third round was the easiest round of the week with a scoring average of –0.58 after playing +0.57 in Round 2 and +2.46 in Round 1.
