Homey targets 10,000 beds by 2027 with focus on inclusive co-living
Homey
plans to operate over 10,000 beds by 2027 as it aims to add 5000 beds in the current financial year and another 5000 planned in FY27.
With a primary focus on hybrid holistic living and value-based education, Homey currently operates over 1000 beds, with 120 more underway in
East Delhi's Laxmi Nagar
. An additional 2000 beds are set to be launched within the next six months.
Company's business follow 70–30 model, which ensures inclusivity as 30% of beds are offered free to underprivileged tenants.
In Delhi, Homey has entered into a partnership with
Iskcon
Dwarka for leasing rooms and setting up beds.

Alongside ISKCON, Homey has partnered with JIMS, Delhi University, APJ School of Management and multiple aviation institutes to provide community-based housing solutions.
Through Iskcon Dwarka's network, Homey aims to reach out to migrant populations aged 18 and above, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds, to provide accessible accommodation options.
In a global context, initiatives like Common in the USA, The Collective in the UK, WeLive in the USA, and Quarters in Germany have paved the way for innovative co-living solutions. These companies offer shared housing options with a focus on community-building, affordability, and convenience for young professionals and students.
Homey will debut in Ahmedabad within six months with 500 beds, followed by Pune, Hyderabad and Bengaluru later this year.
Its future plans include entering Kota and other key educational hubs in the next 12–18 months.

Bhubaneswar: Chairman of Adani Group Gautam Adani took part in Rath Yatra celebrations and offered 'Prasad Seva' to devotees at Puri on Saturday. After the three chariots of Lord Balabhadra, Devi Subhadra and Lord Jagannath were pulled to Shree Gundicha temple at noon, Adani, his wife Priti and son Karan offered prayers to the deities in front of the temple amidst intermittent showers. The 'Prasad Seva' rolled out by the Adani Group at Puri on the occasion of Rath Yatra includes distribution of 4 million nutritious meals to devotees and frontline officials and workers daily from June 26 to July 8. The group is also extending logistical and safety support in the shape of jackets, raincoats, caps, umbrellas, and fluorescent safety vests for municipal workers and devotees. Its volunteers are assisting in beach clean-up drives, especially targeting plastic waste, and lifeguards from the Puri Beach Lifeguard Mahasangha are receiving direct support. The Adani family also met 'Adani lifeguards' at Puri beach on the day. On the occasion of Rath Yatra on Friday, Adani said his family was blessed to be serving during the Rath Yatra. "By the infinite grace of Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannathji, we have been blessed with the opportunity to serve during the sacred Rath Yatra of Puri Dham. This divine journey is that sacred moment when the Lord himself comes to his devotees to bless them with his darshan. It is not just a journey, but a sublime celebration of devotion, service and surrender," the industrialist wrote on X.

Sri Jagannath Rath Yatra begins today
Vijayawada: ISKCON Vijayawada's Sri Jagannath Swamy Rath Yatra Maha Mahotsavam, known as the largest Rath Yatra in South India will be held from June 27 to 29, said ISKCON Mandir President Chakradharidas. The programme will begin at 1 pm on Friday with Rath Puja and will proceed with great pomp and grandeur amidst cultural programmes by local and foreign artistes and chanting of Harinama by devotees. Rath Yatra Mela Mahotsavam will be organised every day from 5 pm on an area of 3.5 acres in a most magnificent and heart-touching way. This year, a special programme called 'Sumangali Subhadra' will be held on June 29. More than 1000 women, including prominent industrialists from Vijayawada and Guntur districts, will come in a procession in 4 bullock carts to offer Sare to Goddess Subhadra. This is the first time in India that a Sare offering programme will be held during a Rath Yatra. Rath Yatra's starting point is Sitara Grounds, Bhavanipuram. It will pass via Sitara Grounds, Swathi Theatre Road, Kanakadurga Ammavari Gudi Road, Ratham Centre, Seethamma Vaari Paadadu. Rath Yatra Mela venue is Seethamma Vaari Paadadu. As many as 108 different types of Naivedya will be offered to Lord Jagannath every day. Prasadam will be distributed to approximately 1.5 lakh people during the Rath Yatra and Rath Yatra Mela. Every day Harinama Kathamrutham, Kirtans and many other special features will be held for the benefit of hundreds of non-local and local devotees. After its largely volunteer-driven effort to feed the masses during the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj earlier this year, the Adani Group has now turned its attention to another of India's most sacred festivals, the Rath Yatra in Puri, Odisha. Held annually at the Lord Jagannath Temple in Puri, the nine-day chariot procession attracts millions of devotees from across India and abroad. In keeping with chairman Gautam Adani's belief that 'Seva Hi Sadhana Hai' (Service is Worship), the Adani Group is undertaking a comprehensive seva effort to support both pilgrims and frontline officials during the Rath Yatra from June 26 to July 8, said PTI report citing sources. Gautam Adani Seva At Puri Rath Yatra This year's support includes nearly 4 million meals and drinks distributed free of cost; designated food counters providing free, nutritious meals to pilgrims and officials; beverage counters across the city offering cool drinks to beat the Odisha heat; support for lifeguards from the Puri Beach Lifeguard Mahasangha; volunteers for beach clean-up, especially plastic waste; free T-shirts for official volunteers; fluorescent safety vests for municipal workers; and also a variety of jackets, raincoats, caps and umbrellas for officials and devotees. This is through collaboration between the Adani Group, the Puri district administration, ISKCON and local volunteer organisations. The group, which has been working in Odisha through the Adani Foundation across sectors, such as rural healthcare, school infrastructure and livelihoods, sees this seva as part of a larger spiritual continuity in India's public life, reported PTI. Adani Group Seva At Maha Kumbh Mela For the Adani Group, corporate social responsibility has always extended beyond infrastructure, education and healthcare. Increasingly, it includes direct and active participation in India's spiritual and cultural life – not as a sponsor, but as sevak. Earlier this year, during the 45-day Maha Kumbh Mela, the Adani Group had supported food distribution and pilgrim welfare services on a massive scale in collaboration with ISKCON and Gita Press. On January 21, chairman Gautam Adani personally took part in seva at the Kumbh, underscoring the Group's message that social service is not a sideline activity but a central value. Through its Rath Yatra involvement, the Adani Group is not just offering services – it is reinforcing a view of development that is grounded in Indian culture, community and compassion. PTI report claimed that much of the planning is done with on-ground partners months in advance, the volunteers are from within the group or local communities, and the execution is often led by Adani coordinators, who have long-standing relationships in the region.
